Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Reykjanesbær

A spotless and lovely appartment only 15 minutes from the city. Lovely views from the balcony. Dagbjört was very helpful throughout the booking process and made everything easy. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Iceland, although you may need to have a car.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lena and Brimir's place. They were exceptional hosts, making check-in a breeze and ensuring everything matched the description perfectly. The welcome file provided all the necessary details, and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. All required amenities were available. I highly recommend their place and would be delighted to stay with them again. All my queries were responded almost immediately.

Absolutely fantastic stay, at Gunnþóra's! She's very helpful and communicative. The apartment was spacious and clean and felt like a home away from home. Beautiful location across from the water and also close to downtown. We had a rental car and also used a taxi service in the evening. Everything about Gunnþóra's place is perfect.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

This place worked out perfectly for our family of four on our last night in Iceland. The views are beautiful, especially from the indoor hot tub, and the location is convenient to the airport and the Blue Lagoon. Everything inside is well-designed, clean and modern. We wish we had more time to fully enjoy this condo!

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

1) Elin’s house is perfect to stay in because of its artistic deco, fully equipped kitchen, stunning ocean view, easy access to a large lawn in the back, and perfect layout for us, a family of four. 2) It’s also at an excellent location: walking distance for a stroll by the ocean, a bite to eat at local bakery or grocery store. Less than 10 minutes drive to downtown Reykjavik for more restaurant options. And a convenient base for our day trips as well. 3) It’s spotless clean which we greatly appreciated. Our whole family couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Highly recommended. Thank you, Elin!

A fantastic homely place to stay with our family including teenage grandchildren. Great local supermarket and bus service which meant we didn't need a car. Superb views including across the bay to see the erupting volcano! The BBQ and the hot tub were fabulous as was the weather. Outdoor living was just as good as indoors. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available including a well stocked fridge on our arrival. Plenty bedding and towels to facilitate changing everything during our stay.

The environment is very good, the house is very cozy, everything is very complete, the communication with the host is particularly smooth, I will come again next time

The apartment was a perfect base for a week of exploring the West of Iceland. It is located on a beautiful peninsula which was peaceful to walk around in the evenings, whilst being close enough to the centre of Reykjavik to be able to easily explore. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Thura was a very responsive host, replying quickly to any messages. We would definitely recommend the apartment to others.

For a family of 4 it was a perfect spot for a few days. We also loved the local swimming pool.

Unnur is an awesome host! Her communication, responsiveness, and flexibility were top notch. Her apartment was clean and tidy overall and the kitchen was particularly well-appointed. It would be a great place for someone who wants to cook their own meals because there’s a huge grocery store a block away. The apartment was a bit further away from the city center than I expected (it may be 15 mins to the main street, but it takes another 15-30 mins to get to places like Harpa, making it a bit of a slog in rainy and often windy conditions). That said, the walk along the harbor is beautiful and it felt safe, even at night.

This is a spectacular and large apartment in a beautiful residential neighborhood. The views alone are enough to recommend it, but the overall place was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family group of 4 adults and 2 teens. I would definitely recommend a car. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, but at least 20 minutes on foot to most things, and the wind was very cold at night. We did not try the bus, but all neighbors in the area were driving and we were very happy we had booked a car. With a car, it was super easy to get around Reykjavik and leave the city for day trips. On street parking by the apartment was easy to find and free. My mom asked me to leave a note that this is not a rental, but a home, so there are lots of personal items throughout the house and limited spaces to unpack. She also warns against people who might not be aware that it is a walk up unit. My teens loved the very affectionate cat, who made it feel like home.

The apartment was exactly as described and immaculate. But what I liked best was that it was in a tranquil neighborhood with outstanding views across a bay and easy access to downtown. Once I drove downtown, once I walked along the bay and once I took a chance on a scooter (very easy path to follow, but since that was my first ride ever, it was harrowing!). I appreciated that Kjartan made my stay exceptionally easy - most of my questions (what’s the WiFi password, where’s the nearest grocery store, etc) were answered in advance, and then again in a helpful booklet in the apartment. Thank you, Kjartan, for a fantastic stay in Reykjavik!

Laritza is a very hospitable host. An extremely friendly and accessible person. We had very nice conversations with her, which also helped us understand more about Iceland. Her shelter is exactly what you need at the end of a busy holiday. That's also the nice thing about Airbnb, that you can meet local residents, which is much more impersonal with other bookings, because in Iceland the unchecked rule seems to apply everywhere. in short, this address at Laritza is also perfect because it is close to the airport. especially if you have to return the rental car early in the morning and be at the airport on time

This is a very lovely home, in a convenient area, perfect for a family. Jón was always kind, responsive, and helpful. We loved staying here and look forward to staying in this home again next summer!

The apartment was pristine clean, with lots of natural light and new amenities. Eiríkur was courteous and communicative throughout my stay. Good location right near the bus stop to go downtown, and close to some beautiful coasts. Would happily stay here again.
