Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

This home was beautiful and in the perfect location. The deck was a great place to sit out on with everyone after our long days of hiking and sightseeing. It included everything we needed to have a comfortable and smooth stay. Could not recommend this house more!!

Such a wonderfully cozy place in a great location! We loved being able to see the Northern Lights from the hot tub after a long day of exploring on the Golden Circle. House was super easy to get to - close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We were able to beat the traffic and walk to catch multiple sunsets at the Grotta Lighthouse. Host's directions were super detailed for any and everything one would need to know and they were very responsive when we did have additional questions.

Stayed here with my family of four. Place is perfect. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Felt safe and beautiful location. Were able to see the northern lights in a clear evening.

This was an absolute dream house. My family and I were taken back at the magical cabin by the sea. The inside was spotless and had a fun and quirky story to tell about each piece hung on the walls. My kids enjoyed watching the sheep roam and the short walk to the sea. This was the perfect spot to kick off our vacation.

We will forever remember our stay here in Iceland. Anna is an exceptional host who greeted us on arrival and welcomed us into her beautiful home so kindly. She was available whenever we had questions and was extremely accommodating. The picturesque landscape is quite unbelievable surrounding her home and we felt so welcomed to walk about as we wished. Her home is conveniently located within driving distance for great day trips and her clean hot tub was great to relax in after a day of exploring this beautiful country. Thank you Anna!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Myriam est flexible et très sympathique. Je suis arrivée tard et je suis repartie tôt pour prendre mon vol, j'avais prévenu, je ne l'ai pas croisé mais elle m'a mise à l'aise me disant que ça lui posait pas de problème ! La chambre est assez grande et la salle de bain commune est très bien aussi, tout comme le reste de l'appartement que j'ai rapidement aperçu. La localisation est top à 15 min de l'aéroport, très pratique. L'appartement se trouve en ville (petite ville tranquille) au sein d'une résidence avec parking c'est parfait.

This is a spectacular and large apartment in a beautiful residential neighborhood. The views alone are enough to recommend it, but the overall place was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family group of 4 adults and 2 teens. I would definitely recommend a car. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, but at least 20 minutes on foot to most things, and the wind was very cold at night. We did not try the bus, but all neighbors in the area were driving and we were very happy we had booked a car. With a car, it was super easy to get around Reykjavik and leave the city for day trips. On street parking by the apartment was easy to find and free. My mom asked me to leave a note that this is not a rental, but a home, so there are lots of personal items throughout the house and limited spaces to unpack. She also warns against people who might not be aware that it is a walk up unit. My teens loved the very affectionate cat, who made it feel like home.

This is a very lovely home, in a convenient area, perfect for a family. Jón was always kind, responsive, and helpful. We loved staying here and look forward to staying in this home again next summer!

Alli’s place is amazing! Even better than it looks in the photos. Well equipped and the views are amazing. Best area in Reykjavik in my opinion. Definitely recommend!

Great stay located in a central location near Reykjavik, Keflavík and blue lagoon. Theres a lot of room and also a playground nearby if you have small children

Inga's home was just as described and immaculate. She was friendly and responded promptly to any questions. She was very helpful when our flight was 10 hours late. There was no question on how to operate appliances, as she left a detailed guide. We would definitely choose Inga's place again if we return to Iceland.
