Family-friendly holiday rentals in Retournac

Very good stay. The cottage was well equipped and everything was well functional. The place is very well placed in a quiet location, very close to the river "Le Lignon" Outside, in front of the cottage, the terrain is flat which allows for play activities with children. There is also a circular, wooden picnic space that allows 8 people to gather. It is also shaded. Very nice... There is an awning attached to the cottage that allows your car to be sheltered from bad weather. Cathy's place is nearby (100m) which is very convenient in case of need. Access to the village is possible in 20 minutes on foot by a quiet little road, even with a 5 year old. In Tence there are all the amenities to shop, go to restaurants, have cultural activities. Tence has a "Family" label, so there are a lot of activities offered to children.

We have just had a lovely weekend from Pantecôte in this chalet. The accommodation perfectly matches the description and the hosts are very nice and caring. We felt right at home for 3 days. The house is very well-located in the middle of nature, it is very well insulated, it feels good. Personally I loved the book area towards the window. The terrace is great, for days a little warmer:)

This is a beautiful campsite! We stayed in the Canadian tent and this is exactly the way you should camp. Comfort, nature & cosy indeed!

We had a great stay! The place is perfect for a week with friends, there is space and activities to do on site. The view from the terrace is stunning! Pierre advised us very well on what to do around. I recommend it 100% for a stay with friends and family!

We had a great time at Anthony's place. Chalet offering multiple services (sauna, jacuzzi, good bedding, barbecue, ping pong, foosball, private lake, pizza oven/super sofa bread...) allowing everyone to find their own account and brighten each evening. The place is peaceful and the lake is very cute. Thanks for the croissants on Sunday mornings, local jams and juices. Recommended 😊

Géraldine handled our arrival and departure remotely by text and phone with accuracy and sympathy. The accommodation is facing the lake, magnificent view, in a beautiful quiet and very peaceful village. Everything was perfect, I would recommend it.

You feel really good at Marie Pierre's, a house that breathes well-being, on the banks of the Loire and a 3-minute walk from the village. The evening walk along the Loire with the dogs is enjoyable. The house is cool, everything is there, nothing is missing to feel right at home :) Marie Pierre is super responsive and gives good advice. Around it there are plenty of walks to do, waterfalls, lakes, troglodyte village, and of course the Puy which is barely a few km by car. In short, a perfect stay. We'll be back for sure. You can rent without a second thought:)

We had a great week at Angélique and Vincent's. They are very welcoming and responsive if there are any issues and provide valuable advice if necessary. We spent a few days in the apartment with my daughter. We were warmly welcomed by Giorgio. The apartment is well equipped, clean and functional. The place is quiet and a little away from the village of Désaignes (within walking distance). My daughter and I were able to participate in the Wednesday night yoga session hosted by Giorgio. This stay was soothing for both of you.

Great stay at Genevieve's, everything went very well, we didn't miss anything and will be happy to come back. Maybe just a small downside regarding the beds: if you prefer firm beds, beware, this is not the case here!

In a beautiful and neat setting, with a breathtaking view, we received an excellent welcome from our hosts with whom we had interesting exchanges about the region and its activities. The accommodation, cozy and very comfortable, was very well equipped, very clean and quiet. Daniel very kindly made his garage available to us to store our bikes. We loved the ideal location to radiate on the dolce via.

Really nice place. Very sweet and helpful hostess who responded quickly, for example, when we asked if we could use their pool despite it not being officially open. Lots of good walks, including to the nearby town (1.5 hour walk) where there was a fantastic dining area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The environment of the house is simply incredible: a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, where you can see wild animals in the morning — a real delight. Very nice walks start directly from the house, which is ideal for enjoying the region without having to take the car. The pool was nice and hot, perfect for relaxing, and the accommodation was impeccable: perfectly clean, comfortable and well-equipped.
