Fantastic view and friendly staff! We enjoy walking so the location was great for us, and it’s easy to take a tuk tuk if needed. The area is a bit noisy, there was construction going on during the day but we didn’t find it bothersome in the evenings so we could get rest. The breakfast is good, with fresh fruit and the omelette it was what we needed.

This is very spacious accommodation and Jagath was very kind and always helpful. It is a fair way out of town, but there are frequent buses passing by.

Mevanda’s place was very special. Words cannot describe the beauty and peace of waking up to the lush mountains every morning. The peaceful oasis I needed. The company of his animals was much enjoyed. The food was delicious, breaky and coffee included everyday! And dinner for a good price. The staff were lovely and Mevanda was great to chat too, with lots of good advice. It is not close to town, however I liked this. You can always take a day trip to town and come back and relax in the afternoon. Close to many hikes, coffee and tea plantations. Showering in the small waterfall, 1 minute walk from my room was a highlight. I would recommend to everyone this experience. I will be back with friends! Much love Sam - Western Australia

Amazing place to stay in Ella! Lovely rooms and really nice breakfast every morning with the best view. We extended our stay with one more night as we didn’t want to leave. A lot of monkeys around 🐒

I cannot recommend this place enough, this homestay truly one of a kind. It was so homely I could have stayed for weeks. Lilu and her family were extremely kind and generous throughout our stay. Such beautiful warm-hearted people. The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular. It looked like a backdrop to a movie. You can see the trains, waterfall, Adam’s peak all from the balcony. The diversity of wildlife was also a highlight.

Our stay at this modern cottage nestled amidst the tea plantations was absolutely wonderful! The design of the cottage is stunning – a perfect blend of contemporary style and cozy comfort. Waking up to the serene views of rolling green hills was truly a treat. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what our family needed to unwind and relax. A special mention must go to Mathi, the house caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From preparing breakfast to helping with laundry, nothing was too much trouble. His warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful cottage for anyone seeking a tranquil and stylish escape.
