Holiday rentals with breakfast in Rekawa Lagoon

Me and my family had an amazing stay at Isana. Our stay at the house was everything we wanted and more. We were 14 people in the ages 2 years - 58 and we all enjoyed our stay. Two things that we didn’t expect but really appreciated was the fantastic beach that we loved, beautiful and pretty much empty apart from the fishermen. The other thing was the amazing staff. Manny and his family have taken so good care of us. Apart from them doing their jobs excellent we also connected with them on a personal level that will make us miss them a lot. The manager treated us great as well but he wasn’t with us as much as Manny and the rest. The food was simple but very good. If you want to switch it up a bit some days there are other options on the beach. The house is big and fresh. The rooms doesn’t have ac but the way the house was built we didn’t need it. My family and I had a memorable stay in Hiriketiya. Our host was in touch with us via text 2 weeks before our stay and he remained extremely easy to contact throughout. Not only were we greeted with a smile, tasty juice and beautiful villa, our host also organised day trips for us with short notice. The Villa is a simple walk to the iconic beach, big selection of restaurants and bars. The big beds in well air conditioned rooms were comfy and the house was very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this villa and host!!

Notre chambre chez Chandi était incroyable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez elle. Chandi est tellement gentille. Vous vous sentirez comme chez vous grâce à sa présence discrète mais toujours disponible au besoin. Chandi cuisine de délicieux petits déjeuners que je recommande chaleureusement. De plus, le logement donne vue sur un magnifique jardin. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous retournerons chez Chandi.

All good! It's a house by the main road with direct access to the beach. You can literally wake up, walk out the door and reach the sea in a few seconds. The mattress is one of the most comfortable I tried in Sri Lanka. There's a table and chairs in the room in case you need to do some work (wifi speed is ok, ~25mbps). The terrace also has laying chairs, a table and a small garden around. There is a resort just next door and the dividing fence is waist high so not so private if there are some people around. I found the place to be too noisy during the day (since it's right by the main road where buses and trucks are constant), but it was fine during the night as the traffic slowed down. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. At some point the wifi wasn't working and they immediately fixed the issue.

Lakshmans nephew was very helpful with all our needs. The house was clean and tidy and spacious. Everything we needed was there. One bed was very firm and in the other was more soft. The night was quiet for sleeping. The location could have been better, but, it was close enough for walking distance to shops and beach etc. Very good value for price. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend.

The place is located 50 m from the top 5 best beaches of Sri Lanka. You can simply walk and enjoy it. The room has AC and hot water, two big beds with very comfortable mattress. The area is very tranquil. At night one day dogs were barking but one hard shout put them in order :) The food was tasty and breakfast was on flexible timing. Sandaru is an excellent host who was accommodating all our need and some extra. We will be back for sure.

The place was exceptionally clean with plenty of seating space, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a short 200-meter walk to the beach, which was quite manageable. The highlight for us was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, especially the flavorful fish curry—it was outstanding!

What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

Great villa in a little sleepy village away from tourists. The bed was very comfortable, the wifi worked great, and Umpali and his family made us feel very comfortable. The property is situated on small local fishing beach and there is some trash and plastic in the water. We tried to do our part and picked up and threw away trash every time we went in and out of the water. The water itself was warm and calm and there are nice chairs and cushions provided. Meals are very good, especially breakfast but none of it is provided for free so remember to bring cash and discuss if you want full board each day. A tuk tuk can be arranged to Dikwella for 600lkr ($4)

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Terrasse ein tolles Plus. Ganz toll war auch das Trinkwasser, das zu Verfügung gestellt wird. Manoj und seine Familie haben uns jeden Morgen ein top Frühstück direkt auf unsere Terrasse serviert. In 2 Minuten ist man am schönen ruhigen Strand, wo man schwimmen und surfen kann. Manoj war jederzeit erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet und geholfen. Alles wunderbar, hier macht man nichts falsch :)

Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in 3 Wochen Srilanka. Es war ruhig und wunderschön. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr 3, welches offen zur Natur war und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Lova und Lee haben uns super herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Wir haben uns einen Roller ganz unkompliziert ausleihen können über einen Bekannten und das hat Spaß gemacht die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Hunde waren total lieb und es war uns eine Freude ein Teil von Ocean Eye zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung 💓💓

I had a great time staying with Naleen and Wasana, they were extremely helpful, helped me to arrange transportation, bike rental and occasional lunches and dinner, it is nice plays worth it is money with extremely pleasant and caring hosts. definitely recommend staying there

I had a wonderful month-long stay at Ceylonza. Located just outside the bustling commercial area of Mirissa, it offered a perfect balance of convenience for grocery shopping, easy access to the beach, and nearby take-out options. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and comfortable. Lala provided me with a private kitchen, allowing me to cook my own meals and enjoy morning tea. The spacious and clean bathroom featured both cold and warm showers. My room was quiet and pleasant, and I felt safe even at night, especially with Lala often having friends in the patio upstairs. He was being readily available to address any questions or concerns I had throughout my stay. Stutiyi 🙏🏻

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

Really great accommodation nearby to beautiful quiet beaches - as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Manju’s food is also the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, would return just for this!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Der Garten ist einfach traumhaft – ideal zum Entspannen und Genießen der frischen Luft. Renate und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders das Frühstück war hervorragend. Einzige kleine Wermutstropfen waren dass die Hunde in der einen Nacht etwas länger gebellt hatten und dass während unseres Aufenthaltes kein Yoga angeboten wurde. Die Nutzung der Yoga-Fläche war jedoch möglich.

Sommes restés 4 nuits, très beau logement, belle cuisine, tout est fonctionnel.Tres bon accueil de Nisha, toujours souriante et prête à vous rendre service. Elle a même adapté le petit déjeuner à la française qui est copieux ... elle a réservé un scooter pour nous, bus, tuk tuk à proximité, petite supérette de dépannage, très bon restaurant pas cher à 5 mn sur la plage. Nous recommandons fortement.
