Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

What a beautiful place to stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts made everything so clear for us, the house was spotless we couldn’t fault it. It was the little things like having toys for the kids to play with was amazing and the coffee machine with pods was a welcome surprise. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, thank you!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

Had a lovely stay here. Home is well equipped and cosy, a great location with beautiful views. Loved having my morning coffee by the river. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

Great location in a lovely village. Nice pub with good beer and great food at reasonable prices within a few minutes walk. House was just what we needed 4 decent bedrooms and open plan lounge, dinning room and kitchen. Loads of utensils, plates etc. would certainly book again.

Lovely place, very spacious with everything you need. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and there are a couple of pubs in walking distance.

Visited last weekend. We were welcomed upon arrival and were greeted by both John and Tricia. Parking was safe and secure. Lodge set in a beautiful peaceful location, John gave us a thorough tour and explained in depth about all facilities. The lodge contained everything you could possibly need including a lovely welcome pack and a bottle of Chilled Cava. Hosts were knowledgeable about the area and a pleasure to meet, the visit felt friendly from the start. There are lots of places to visit nearby and it is central to most tourist attractions. John and Tricia couldn’t do enough even offering to come and collect us if we got stranded anywhere on our walk. Visit made even better by the resident miniature horses, dogs and chicken who joined us outside for a glass of cava. Thanks for a really enjoyable stay. The house was exactly what we needed for a few days puffin watching. It is walking distance to the cliffs. We parked the car when we arrived and we didn't use it until we left 3 days later. The house was clean and comfortable. The wifi was a bit temperamental but turning it off and on seemed to cure it. The local pub was excellent, we didn't go hungry. The next time I return to the area, this house will be top of the list of accommodation.

We had a lovely stay in monkeypowder. We loved the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living area on the ground floor. The living room has great sea views and an area to sit and lookout. There is a huge comfortable sofa and great wallpaper of a view of Scarborough. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and a great space to enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we loved the quirky furniture. Free parking was a bonus and a great location to explore Scarborough.

We came 3 generations of family to celebrate a special birthday. Kay had gone to effort to put in those personal touches and communicating was very easy. The house suited our needs, was spacious and comfortable, which made for relaxed and sociable evenings that suited everyone. I would definitely recommend the house for large family occasions. We had a great stay at Helen’s place. Perfect location for my grandma to potter around the shops in Filey :-)

Large but cosy converted barn for big groups/families. Had everything we needed, and the games room and huge hot tub were a big plus! On a main road but didn’t feel that way once in the house. Lovely touch of fresh flowers when we arrived and our host was very helpful and always responded whenever we messaged.

Lovely place to stay, the house is big and well decorated with a large living room with a wood-burning stove. The garden is nice and peaceful with a few friendly peacocks dropping in from time to time to say hello. The house is very well located and at the same time in a quiet environment. We received lots of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. I highly recommend it :)

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and this accommodation was the best by far! It was spotlessly clean and all the fixtures and fittings were very high end. Excellently located to enable touring from Flamborough Head to Staithes and inland to the North York Moors. The view from the property was superb, looking towards the sea and Scarborough Castle and it was very peaceful. Angela and Richard were wonderful hosts and I felt that by the end of our stay we had become good friends. We highly recommend a stay here.

We had a peaceful few days at Liz and Nick’s cottage. It was spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful, being set in the most beautiful surroundings. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the home-baked cookies were delicious! Liz’s communication was excellent and she was very accommodating when we needed to change the days of our stay slightly. We would definitely recommend it to others.

We booked Rachel's home for 3 nights for a family weekend, 12 of us in total. The house is beautiful with some really nice added touches such as games for the kids and a welcome box on arrival. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds! The dining table was great for all the adults to sit and chat, and fit us all round for meals. Location was fantastic, close to everything. Rachel was a fab host, available for any of our questions and was able to give us an early check in and later check out. Couldnt fault the home at all, sparkly clean with everything we needed for our stay.

I’ve stayed at this lovely, quaint cottage several times now, and it never disappoints. It’s always extremely comfortable, homely, and spotlessly clean — the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The host is consistently friendly and helpful, making each stay feel very welcoming. I always look forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.
