Holiday rentals with a kayak in Region of Queens Municipality

The house is GORGEOUS and fit us 5 and our doggo perfectly. We loved the gorgeous lake and all the outdoor amenities for swimming, fishing, and paddling supplies. The beds were so comfy and the house was clean! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a holiday in nature with all the comforts and luxuries!

We stayed here for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The place is beautiful, with fantastic views and plenty of space for a group weekend getaway. It had everything we needed—from comfortable beds to a well-stocked kitchen—and the whole vibe was just perfect. We’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend!

Rocky Mountain Lakehouse was an amazing mini get away with stunning surroundings. The property had everything one would ever need for fun activities and relaxation. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved our stay even though the weather didnt co-operate 100%. It was exactly what we needed and hope to return in the future. ❤️

As soon as we stepped inside, the beautiful surroundings and view of the lake made us feel instantly relaxed. The peaceful location and well appointed cottage was just what we needed for a restful vacation. The use of kayaks was amazing and swimming was lovely. Our daughter brought her stand up paddle board and enjoyed time on the water. Beds were comfy and complimentary morning coffee got the day started well! Time went too fast, so we’ll book a longer stay next summer!

Myself and a few girlfriends got to have the most delightful weekend away at Idle Hour. The restoration of this house clearly shows the love and admiration that the owner has put into it. They quite literally brought this house and its story back to life. The kitchen is special with to die for appliances, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, it’s such a classy spot to unwind on the ocean. All of the extra added necessities didn’t go without notice too, the linens, the robes, the condiments, the milk and cream, the firewood, it all made the stay extra special. We just loved it and would head back in a heartbeat.

We are a family of 4 plus mini poodle and looked for a secluded lake home to fish and escape in nature. This home was precisely that with an excellent location in the woods on a lovely lake and superb suggestions and instructions from the host. My daughter enjoyed the leisurely fishing off shore and off the great kayaks made available, the property felt secluded and we enjoyed going for long walks and even met neighbors. The home itself has ample space and would have fit an even greater number of guests easily. Lots of books on the shelf - I finally read the "Handmaiden's Tale"- and information about the surrounding area. An awesome second floor patio was well used reading books and enjoying the views. The gate allowed our dog to enjoy it safely while monitoring the pair of guinea hens roaming the property. Scott was an excellent host and offered great recommendations!

This spot is absolutely beautiful. It’s so private & peaceful. Sitting on the deck & dock in the sun was gorgeous. We enjoyed sunset on the kayaks, a bbq - the deck has a covered outdoor table which was very convienient when it started to rain. We still were able to enjoy our bbq ☺️ we ended the night in the sauna, it was so nice & warm after coming in from the rain. Also enjoyed the sauna again this morning, with our morning coffee 🥰 Highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for tranquility. Would definitely come back. Thank you for having us 🩷

Absolutely perfect in every way! Penny’s beautiful cottage was a true paradise for our family and we will cherish the memories we made there forever. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love and care Penny has put into every detail of this incredible retreat. The cottage itself is delightful — impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and enjoyment. It’s stocked with everything you could possibly need (and then some!) for a fabulous stay. And there are so many fun things to do! We were truly blown away by the amazing home, property and especially the host. Penny’s welcoming, communication, hospitality and kindness are like nothing we have ever experienced. We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to stay at this slice of heaven and cannot wait to return! Thank you Penny for creating such a wonderful and special place — we already miss it!

OMG this place was phenomenal! It was modern, beautifully decorated, very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Instructions to find the place were right on! Roben kept in communication with us - giving suggestions as what to see/ do, if we needed anything- made certain we were comfortable. We were two couples and with the layout of the house it was like we each had our own suite. It is somewhat remote - spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the peace and calmness of overlooking the lake. A beautiful place! Will definitely give this place a ten star out of 5!😁

A lovely home with a fully stocked kitchen. We did alot of cooking & out of all the airbnbs that we have stayed at, this one had the best kitchen! Beautiful lakefront home with nice new kayaks for us to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again!

Sarah's cabin is SO beautiful. Exactly as described in the ad, anything we would have needed in the kitchen, bathroom etc was provided. Sarah gave clear directions on how to get into the cabin. It rained basically the whole weekend we were there, but despite the rain, we had the best time! I would recommend this cabin to anyone, and everyone looking for a cozy getaway!

This was an awesome place. We have already talked about going back next summer!

This cottage is a little gem. We LOVE it there. Kids and adult have the best time. Thank you Dan and family for sharing hours beautiful place on the lake. We didn’t want to leave, already looking forward to next year summer vacation.

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

Tammy’s home is the perfect getaway location! Central to many beaches and amenities yet also secluded enough to allow you to recharge and connect with nature. Tammy is responsive and her instructions are very easy to follow. Definitely work the visit!!

We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!

James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.

The cabin was comforting and nostalgic. We loved our two nights here and could have spent longer. We swam in the warm lake and used the kayaks/water toys. Everything in the cabin was well thought of and especially loved the outdoor cooking space to prepare meals. Our second day it was raining but we could still sit under the covered deck and use the gas fire table which was a bonus.

Loved this quiet peaceful space for a family getaway. Close to gorgeous beaches. 15-20min away from Carters beach and Summerville beach. The latter is a great beginner surfing beach.

If you looking for a cozy place to stay - it is perfect choice! Ideal if you want to escape out of city for a weekend! Cottage was very warm and cozy, I felt that it was filled with love! Becky left all instructions and made sure we can reach with any questions. We had a wonderful weekend! Definitely recommend!
