Beautiful location, private, pristine, peaceful. Lots of space, well set up for water activities, fireside chats, and relaxing the day away. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Well stocked with lots of towels and firewood, great layout with an open kitchen and comfortable living room.

This is an absolutely amazing place. We will definitely be back. Dorian was great. We had some questions and he was very quick to respond. 10/10. Highly recommended.

The place was wonderful and well equipped. It was in beautiful condition and there so many convenience items available. It felt fresh and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the beach, the hot tub and the fire pit area. A great spot to unwind.

Great spot to stay! Super close to both Summerville and Carters Beach. Very clean and comfortable place. We wish we could’ve made use of the fire pit/hot tub as it was lovely, it poured rain during our whole weekend stay. Would love to return to this same location for a future stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful seaside Airbnb! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and it was just minutes away from some of the most gorgeous beaches we’ve ever seen. The space itself was spotless, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed—cute, and was stocked with everything we needed (and more!). It truly felt like a perfect little escape. We can’t wait to come back!

Really great attentive host and responded quickly if anything was needed. Accommodated late check out and early check in as well, which is rare these days!

Bonnie was a wonderful host. She provided clear instructions, was helpful and always responsive even while she was away. The place was exactly as described, peaceful, quiet and the lake view was amazing. We’ll have to come back in the summer to take advance of the lake.

Laura was an exemplary host who answered questions in a flash! Self check-in was a breeze and we felt so warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. There were so many fun games and great books, fishing gear and beach toys, we even got to teach our daughter to play the classic ‘guess who’ which made for a great nightly ritual for the week we were there. One of our favourite things about this sweet piece of paradise is the unbeatable location. We were able to paddle around the river at high tide and the sandy estuary was really fun and interesting to explore. The cottage is nestled under some large trees for much appreciated shade on a hot day and in the early evening the light reflects off the water and in onto the ceiling inside the cottage - so dreamy! It’s an incredible setting! If we are ever in the area again this cottage will be top on the list for places to stay for sure! Highly recommended

We really enjoyed staying at Tarah’s cottage. We were visiting with family in Port Mouton for a week and her cottage was perfectly located. Everything you need to have a comfortable holiday on the lake was provided. The cottage was very clean, organized and exactly as shown in the photos. The lake was beautiful. We enjoyed the dock, canoeing and swimming in the warm lake. Tarah was wonderful and was quick to answer all of my questions. We hope to visit again next summer. Thank you for having us 😊

Quel beau séjour nous avons eu chez Ruth et Marco! Il s’agit de l’endroit tout simplement parfait pour se reposer au bord du lac! Ce chalet est tout simplement parfait avec toutes les commodités pour être confortable durant votre séjour. Belle cuisine bien équipée pour préparer les repas. Grande terrasse avec une vue incroyable sur le lac! Ruth et Marco ont été des hôtes réactifs et fort accueillants! Je recommande hautement ce logement!

This is our second year returning to Wallace’s place and again we loved it. It feels like you’re at home as soon as you drive into the property! Our family of 3 & one 75 lb dog managed out just fine here as our main focus was the beach & camp fires! Even tho there are neighbours on either side the space is still super private! You can paddle and swim in the river & Summerville beach is right there as well! We highly recommend this spot if you want to turn off (still have wifi), relax & enjoy the outdoors!

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

Golden Crest is the oasis we always dreamed of! As soon as we arrived, we felt a sense of home and peace. This space is so comfortable and beautiful! We enjoyed all the amenities, the grill was great for cooking dinners and the kitchen is well stocked with all cooking utensils. The soaking tub and sauna were so therapeutic and lovely. The lighting throughout the house creates the most inviting ambiance, and the outdoor space was so lovely for lounging and perfect for watching the meteor shower! Uli was so kind and helpful and very accommodating. We had the most magical stay and can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely time at Shore Shack! The cabin is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We watched a gorgeous sunset through the trees from the hot tub, and though the rest of the weekend was foggy and rainy, we loved being able to storm-watch from such a cozy, comfortable space. Dorian was a friendly and responsive host. Highly recommend Shore Shack to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of the province!

Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in easy. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Unfortunately, due to health circumstances, we were unable to stay at Shelly’s place. However, communication with Shelly was excellent, she is very compassionate and understanding, and I look forward to staying at her place in the future.

This was one of the highlights of our Nova Scotia trip. Peter and Hendrix were excellent hosts and the cottage was very thoughtfully set up with everything we could need for our stay. We really enjoyed Chef Hendrix's delicious breakfasts, kayaking around Molega lake and watching hummingbirds by the porch. This is also a great home base for visiting Kejimkujik, which is a short drive away.
