Located off of Hwy 101, just over a mile above Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor, known for its rugged, protected coastline, wild rivers, lush forests and hiking trails. Only a 5 min. drive to spectacular beaches. This romantic little cabin features a king bed, deck with an unobstructed view of the surrounding woods, cozy gas cast iron stove, Keurig, mini-fridge, microwave and lovely walk in shower.

An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Nature lover’s rustic retreat in a pristine Redwood Forest overlooking a beautiful ocean view. Soak in the magic of the old-growth and enjoy glamping in the cozy Redwood TreeCabin. The cabin has glass doors that open out to the surrounding forest, a comfy queen bed, a loft, heating , hot outdoor shower under the redwood trees, outdoor fire pit & BBQ, hammocks and a large ocean view gathering area (shared space). Easy drive to Glass beach & the Skunk train.

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
