Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rattlesnake Ridge

The cabin is as advertised. Pleasant surroundings, simple and cozy. The views are spectacular and the hot tub was very enjoyable. We'd very much like to try it again. Everyone was very kind to speak to when communicating with the host.

Great place to crash for skiing crystal mountain in the winter or visiting rainier in the summer! Cozy cabin vibe :)

Everything was great beautiful views loved that they had paddle boards and other stuff to use … parking was little hard it was close to the house, but the parking area was full of rocks and down a hill our rental car did get stuck, but luckily we could park on top of the hill instead. Other than that It was a fantastic little lake house !

Absolutely gorgeous house and location! Looked exactly like the photos. We took advantage of the oysters right in back of the house and cooked them in the oven for a delicious dinner. The hot tub was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Lots of beautiful wildlife, including birds, fish, and seals that swam right up to the dock! Kayaks were another excellent feature. Overall, the perfect place to spend our honeymoon!

We were so happy to find such a cozy little home in an area we wanted to explore. It was an easy hop onto the bus for getting around. We got to explore touristy areas downtown but came “home” to a safe, beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed nice walks into old Ballard for the great cafes, restaurants, and shopping. We discovered some real gems by wandering the area. And the hot tub was the icing on the cake!

This home is an absolute gem, do not pass up the opportunity to book here. Tranquility abounds in this neighborhood, and you can see the sparkle on the water and water fowl from your bed, or watch from the hot tub! My partner and I loved this place, not only for the natural beauty surrounding, but found the amenities and the home to be super clean, thoughtful and welcoming. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, super comfortable pillows and linens. To preface - we both have slightly different sleep - preferences and found we both had incredible sleep here. The hosts were so kind to text us when a pod of orca whales were out front - what a dream! Their recommendations were excellent and I highly suggest checking out Via Rosa 11 if you can, and walking Grand Forest ( on their list ).

Enjoyed a lovely and peaceful stay! I wasn’t expecting the absolutely gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier or the delightful beach below the property. Very pleasantly surprised by that! Lisa was very friendly and personable, and I would have felt comfortable contacting her if I needed anything. Recommended!

The location of this airbnb is so beautiful and peaceful. You are surrounded by forest and awaken to the sounds of birds every morning. It also has a great view of the ocean, and it's a short walk to the beach. The space itself is thoughtfully decorated and very cozy. I loved all the little touches, from the selection of furniture to coffee table books to linens. I've never taken a bath in a tub with a view like this one had, and the outdoor shower was also a highlight. My husband and I loved it so much that we're already thinking of booking it again for a future weekend!

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. We had a very lovely stay at Brian’s cottage. It was tucked away within the trees and was very peaceful with a beautiful view. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with anything we might need. He left lots of information regarding restaurants and hiking near the area and also had lots of books and guides about Olympic National park which we took advantage of. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Kenny & Kelly’s place was absolutely lovely. We stopped there as a place to rest and relax for a few days during our cross country road trip from Massachusetts with our dog, Fox. The water right outside our door was a dream. We did find some small pieces of glass and there are sharp rocks on the beach/yard. Not the fault of the owners, just the nature of a WA beach. But definitely recommend watching out for children’s feet, wear water shoes as well as dog paws. Our dog did cut his paw pretty bad on some glass while swimming, unfortunately. But again, this just comes with beach play. We brought our paddleboard and went out one day and that was absolutely perfect. We saw so much wildlife. The sun room was where we spent most of our time. Our dog, and we, loved watching the wildlife and the tide go in and out through the big glass windows. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Serene place in the woods. So quiet at night. Very relaxing and welcoming. Bring mosquito repellent for the evenings and you’ll be all set.

Linda’s place was great! The view was amazing and it was nice to bike and walk around just near the house but there was so much to do in the surroundings areas too. The Airbnb was extremely clean and the kitchen had everything you could need. We were working from the Airbnb the week we stayed there and the WiFi was great - no issues at all with connectivity even with video calls. Linda was a great host - one of the best we’ve stayed with. She is super friendly and outgoing, very responsive, and super flexible - allowing us to check in early and out late without even asking! I would definitely recommend staying with Linda!

We had an amazing stay at Anna’s place. It is immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need and so much more. She has truly created a home away from home and we so enjoyed the quiet escape away from our tourist filled days in Seattle. It’s such a beautiful area and I highly recommend this lovely property as a destination in itself, or for those who don’t mind a little bit of a commute, the drive to and from all the usual Seattle tourist sites was very manageable. I recommend changing the gps route to avoid Interstates as it gives the opportunity to see so much more of the area. Thank you Anna. We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed staying at Naches Estates guest house. The property is beautiful, with a pool, hot tub and basketball hoop for guests to enjoy. The house is furnished perfectly with many thoughtful touches. The location is great and the views are amazing. Chris and Bonnie are wonderful, welcoming hosts, and we hope to visit again soon!

The hosts had an incredibly clean suite. It had plenty of room with an extremely comfortable bed and the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom amenities were not cut-rate products, but high quality. The view of the water was spectacular; we even had the added bonus of seeing some wildlife in the backyard from our window. The indoor pool was the incentive that kept my 4- year old grandson on his best behavior. It was depressing to have to leave. It felt like we were at home.

Beautiful condo, full of amenities, comfy bed, gorgeous views. Perfect for longer stays. We were only there for a couple of nights, making it hard to justify all the air BnB fees, but not the hosts fault. Would certainly rent again when we have longer time to visit my grandsons.

We recently spent a weekend at this charming cabin in Packwood, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. From the moment we walked in, it felt cozy and inviting, with beautiful rustic touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Every amenity we needed was already there—kitchen supplies, comfortable bedding, and a great living space to relax in after a day of skiing. The setting itself was peaceful and scenic, and we only wish we could have extended our stay. We’re already looking forward to booking this cabin again the next time we’re in the area!

We had a wonderful stay in Packwood! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the hot tub was very welcome after a long day of hiking at Mount Rainier. We definitely second the recommendation of The Mountain Goat - their coffee and bakery were exceptional!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely perfect for a first-time visit to Seattle! We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our first trip to Seattle. The location was incredible—truly walking distance to many major attractions, restaurants, and sights. We hardly needed our car at all (walked 80% of the time), but it was such a relief to have secured off-street parking (garage) available when we did need it. We also travel with our dog, and this place was perfect for that! There was a nice, pet-friendly setup with easy access to outdoor space, which made things super convenient for quick walks and exercise. The amenities were great. The rental includes use of the pool, dry sauna, workout room and rooftop viewing deck —everything was clean, well-maintained, and a nice bonus after long days of exploring the city. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Seattle, especially if you want walkability, parking peace of mind, and a pet-friendly environment. Would definitely stay again!
