Great mountain house! House was clean and had everything we needed. The host sent us local recommendations and checkin/out was easy!

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect! The communication between us and the host was phenomenal! The house was perfect for everything we needed! The hot tub was a family favorite!

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

This was a great affordable option for our multi-family vacation with a wide range of ages (adults, teens and toddlers). The separate living rooms were nice when our group wanted to participate in different activities. Everything was clean and stocked. When we had questions, Jeff was quick to respond and provided helpful information. We also enjoyed using the Massanutten Resort's amenities (pickleball courts, rec center, etc.) We loved our stay!

This place was perfect ! Everything you could possibly need was available to us . The hot tub and the fire pits were amazing. The view was incredible. There was so much to do very close to the house! Potato chip tasting , wineries , cave tour, and a really cool parade float museum! We also truly enjoyed the space , lots of room to relax and read a book, play ball outside , fish in the river… great place , highly recommend!

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

Terri's place was wonderful! We had a group of 9 in town for a wedding in Orange (two per bedroom, one on couch) and were all very comfortable. Would recommend!

Loren was very responsive and helpful; her place was even nicer than expected; we particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire. Indoors was clean, organized and very well maintained. The short walk to the local park and to the grocery store was also a plus. Will try to get this spot again for our next visit.

Two of my girl friends and I were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. This was perfect! It’s on Main Street, which is adorable. We highly recommend going to Cake Krums for breakfast which is only a 2 min walk. The hosts were very flexible with check-in & check-out times which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Madison!

I can't say enough good things about Sharon's place. We loved everything! A lovely place to unwind. House was cute as can be! Clean and everything was provided. The pool is a super bonus. Just a beautiful place. We certainly hope to come back again soon! Thank you so much, Sharon!!

The house was perfect for our girlfriend long weekend. Everyone thought it was charming. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. The house is within walking distance of restaurants and pubs, which is definitely a plus!

I stayed here with friends for a weekend trip. The house is in a great location, the kitchen was well-stocked and we enjoyed the game room. I would highly recommended this house for any group to stay at!

Incredible host and home. Only wish we had more free time to relax and enjoy the house and property. It was a fantastic respite from UVA graduation celebrations.

The house was in a gated community and lakeside. Unfortunately for us the weather didn’t allow us to use the water toys provided but the lake was certainly enticing. The house was spotless. One of the best overall of the many AB&Bs we’ve stayed in. The kitchen and living areas were well laid out. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is appealing.

Daniel's home was literally "Off the Hook". Our group of 11 felt right at home from the moment we booked, and interacted with Daniel and his team. We walked into a BRAND NEW HOME by the lake. There's something for everyone to do here -- you won't be disappointed -- whether you want to be outdoors, love cooking, lay back for movie, play pingpong, soak in the hot tub, play retro arcade games, or board games. There was never a moment where we wanted something, and it wasn't already in the house -- super well stocked kitchen, fishing poles, the Oasis, kayaks, SUPs, tons of games....etc. They got you covered! Thank you Daniel & team! Looking forward to our next visit already!

Even better than the photos! It’s a great place for families with a big yard and kid friendly amenities and groups who are looking for a quiet and relaxing Shenandoah getaway.

Angela is a fabulous host, always responsive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend a stay at The Franklin Estate to anyone coming to the Ruckersville area. The spaces are clean and cute and the pool being right outside the door is a big bonus.

Great place and outstanding service. Monique was an excellent host and always responsive. My kids enjoyed everything specially the horses. Everything was just as described and beyond expectations. The pool was very nice and also Stan was a great resource to help. I would recommend this place 100%. Thanks for the amazing experience.

Would definitely stay here again! We came as a larger group of 9- there was plenty of room for all! My son and nephew spent the entire weekend fishing off the dock while others played yard games (included in rental). Beds were comfy, kitchen fully stocked! Location was perfect - not too far from "civilization" yet surrounded by woods and felt very private. Communication with owner was always easy and responses were fast. Do not hesitate to rent here!

Such a great spot for my family and friends! Kevin had some lovely touches, from a welcome message and snacks to chocolates on our pillows! They had a pack and play ready to go for my 6 month old and we’re so gracious about being flexible with checking in a little early and out a little late (tough to move quickly with a baby). We enjoyed glasses of wine on the back porch and family meals in the kitchen. A great pick for our stay in Culpeper!
