We couldn’t have asked for a better fall weekend up north. The colors were fabulous and the lake was gorgeous. Ben and Alessia’s cottage is wonderful and has a prime location on the lake. They had all amenities that we could ask for in the cottage. All the beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. The fire pit outside was great to have a bonfire too. Everything was so nice and clean and there was easy access to whatever we needed. We had no complaints about anything and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation up north!

We had a great time on our honeymoon at spillway! They were super accommodating and the location was walking distance to downtown Bellaire. We made extra use of the sauna/cold plunge. The lodges are right by torch lake and within driving distance to Lake Michigan. We are already planning future stays here!

Katie and Travis were excellent hosts. They afforded us a flexible check in and check out and provided very helpful instructions! Their property was extremely peaceful and the Airbnb was very cozy and beautiful! The sauna was a very nice surprise as well! We visited during the winter months to ski at Boyne Mountain so it was a bit chillier in the space - recommend packing warm socks and pajamas! The electric fireplace made the space even cozier! Travis was extremely helpful when our car got stuck in the snow and snowblowed so we could make it home safely!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute and cozy couple’s getaway or even a small family staycation! Katie had the place stocked with wonderful games and toys for kiddos as well! Thank you both again!

We stayed at Blue Moo for two nights with 10 guests including children. We found the accommodation to be wonderful- freshly renovated with modern features and all the amenities that you could ask for in a vacation home. The kitchen is well stocked with thoughtfully curated supplies that make cooking in a delight. We especially enjoyed star-lit nights around the smokeless fire pit. We will definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place itself with the dock, kayaks, and shallow water area was great for kids and family fun. Very peaceful and relaxing time outdoors. The sun room with large dining table was our favorite place to spend our time drinking coffee and enjoying meals with the family. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
