Cabin holiday rentals in Rapid Bay

A beautiful getaway location away from the hustle and bustle but still close to anything you may need. The Tin Tabernacle was a great place to relax and recoup with my husband. We would definitely recommend it. p.s. bring some slippers though, the floor gets a touch cold on the toes in cooler months

Had a very relaxing stay! Room very tidy and felt peaceful! The room space was adequate with an active toddler- we had lots of wet weather. The village area and oval space was a nice space to utilise and see other friendly faces staying there. Thanks for hosting a wonderful weekend away for us!

Great base to explore KI. Relaxing atmosphere and great set up. The brewery staff were very helpful, friendly and accomodating.

Tania and Cameron were great hosts and were very accommodating. the cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. we loved the cabin location, very peaceful and secluded with a great view. Great 4WD tracks that cater for all levels and had a lot of fun. Will be back to camp with kids near the river - campsites look great and spacious.

Great farm stay place for family with young kids. Tiarnie was very responsive and kind. She even brought the kids to meet and feed the animals. Such a wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic two-day stay at Debbie's cabin over Easter, accommodating 2 couples. Everything was taken care of before we arrived and Debbie provided excellent instructions and timely responses to any questions we had. The place was very clean, tidy, comfortable, homely and above all - relaxing. We'll definitely return with plans to explore more of the Fleurieu from this great location.

The place is beautiful! Incredibly peaceful and private. We stayed for 2 nights, and changed our plans so we spent more time at the cabin rather than driving around the island. Sitting on the deck with a coffee first thing watching the sunrise and then reading my book, with the only sound the crashing of waves was a wonderful way to spend a weekend. The place is simple with everything you need and very clean. Loved that we could walk along the small track to the cliff tops and watch dolphins in the water. Will definitely come back to stay!

A great place to stay if you want a peaceful location close to a nice town and beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed Bretts cabin as a base to explore the island. It’s well equipped for cooking, great bathroom and deck to sit out in the evening and watch the stars with a glass of wine. Brett is a really nice guy and very helpful with recommendations and advice. His dog Chase is very friendly too!

Fabulous location for those with their own transport. A short 4 minute drive to Kingscote. A great spot to base yourself for your entire stay on Kangaroo Island. Beautiful views of rolling hills and the ocean in the distance in a really cosy donga. Comfy bed, lounge suite and great shower. Split system to keep it all just at the right temperature. Kitchenette with a single induction stove top, fridge, kettle and a barbie on the deck. All very new, neat, tidy and functional. Really cool that it is self-sufficient energy-wise and yet offers so many home comforts. Perfect for a couple. The towels were thin, Turkish style and weren't particularly satisfying after a shower, leaving us feeling a bit chilly. If you prefer a plush towel, I'd recommend bringing you're own. We actually went out and purchased a couple from Kingscote. Loved the opportunity to enjoy a bonus free drinkie from the brewery. Highly recommended.

We had a great short stay at the cabin in Myponga. The setting was peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cabin was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. Bit of a distance to the nearby walking trails and the beautiful views but worth the walk. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

My partner, toddler and I stayed over easter and absolutely loved Parrot’s rest. A simple and uncomplicated space with lovely, thoughtful touches throughout. Olivia kindly organised a portacot and highchair for us and was very helpful via message. We would love to come back.

My friend and I just spent a weekend away at Timothy and Helen's place for some much needed R&R, and it was perfect 👌 The beautifully maintained gardens surrounding the house and views out across the hills with grazing cows and horses 🙏 it was so peaceful and private. Sitting on the super comfy chairs on the deck in the day and down by fire pit at night, we had ourselves a little slice of nature heaven. We were also lucky enough to have had the company of Bazil and his friend the whole weekend, too 💗🐨🌳🐨💗 The house was rustic with so much charm and also super clean with all the finer touches from the comfortable high-quality bed linen to the organic chemical free personal care products in the bathrooms. It's evident that the hosts have put in a lot of work, love, and care into making this place a cosy haven away from home 😊 Far exceeds the photos, highly recommend 😊👌 We will definitely be back when we can. We loved our stay at the Black Shed Retreat. The accommodation was beautiful and spacious, with a great view over the vines.

We loved the view from the cabin, as well as the fireplace in the cold and dark evenings. The hosts were very generous with the amount of firewood they gave us as well as the additional food in the fridge and on the kitchen counter. The animals were also fun to hang out with. The hosts were very friendly and also very responsive so we never felt lost.

We had a lovely stay at Wren Cottage. Mik is a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need! We hope to visit again.

Kate’s little studio was lovely! Very close to the beach and styled beautifully. We had a great time here!
