Lake house holiday rentals in Rangeley

We had a great stay at the lake house. The surrounding are beautiful and very peaceful. Aside from the occasional car going down the street across the lake it is very quiet. We took full advantage of the kayaks and were out on the lake every day and walking the bank looking for crawfish at night. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back again!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

We were grateful to be able to stay with Donna at her camp and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house is cozy and was great for 3 people, and the firepit and lake view are hard to beat! Thank you for sharing your space!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Camp Copper! A great property for a larger group, with nicely decorated interior and brand new appliances. Host is super responsive and addressed the icy conditions during the time of our stay quickly. Superb location for skiing at Sunday River in the winter and due to the lakeside location most certainly the perfect summer location as well. We will be back!

Went for a fishing weekend with my brother. We were both very happy with the place. Boat launch for great pond was a 3 minutes drive and the boat launch for long pond was 7 minutes away which was nice so we could fish multiple lakes easily. Had dock access from great pond for the boat and was the end of channel that was well marked. We were able to dock the boat overnight there were no issues. A few places to eat nearby with access via boat (just a bit further up the channel with public dock behind the post office) and are also walkable. Clean space and great view. Beds were very comfortable for an Airbnb. Would recommend, great value, will stay here again if we come back to Belgrade.

We had an awesome stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage—perfect for two families after a full day on the slopes. Every afternoon, we came back to the quiet and warmth of the cabin, made great meals in the super-cute kitchen, built a fire in the wood stove, and played board games around the big table. The kids loved the bunk room (especially having their own book lights!), and everything was easy to find and use. The shower was great, the space was inviting and there were many thoughtful touches such as plenty of hooks for hanging ski gear! We really appreciated how the family updated the cabin while keeping its historic charm. Such a great spot—would absolutely stay again! Thanks for making us feel so welcomed and comfortable!

Beautiful property right on the water about 45 minutes to Sugarloaf. Amazing views overlooking the lake! Ample space for several guests, well-stocked kitchen with ample cooking supplies and utensils. Would recommend the Thai restaurant in Farmington if going out to eat.

Vicky saved our college graduation weekend after another Airbnb host cancelled our reservation a week before. That reservation was made nearly four months ago. That host lied and left us in a awful position with little to no options. Vicky empathized immediately and helped us determine if her property would work late on a weekday while she was away. She was responsive, helpful and flexible. The property was great with awesome lake views, wildlife, and just a serene beautiful environment. Vicky saved a critical weekend celebrating our son’s college graduation from Bates.

The White House exceeded our expectations as a hiking base of operations over the long weekend. Having a cozy, spacious place to ourselves made us feel right at home, organically lending itself to home cooked meals in the dining room and an array of meaningful conversations in the living room. Andrew was a quick and consistent communicator for all of our questions and concerns. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

We recently moved from Alaska to Maine and needed a place to stay while looking for a house. We stayed at David’s for 2 months and it felt like being in our own home. The view on the lake was beautiful and everything was provided upon arrival. David periodically checked with us to make sure everything Wes going well and was very responsive if we had a question. We would definitely stay at David’s place again!!! I highly recommend David’s place if visiting central Maine.

This home is very well maintained and nicely updated. Everything you might need is readily available—from Q-tips to laundry supplies. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to feel right at home. The host was helpful and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. We especially appreciated the small fenced-in yard and porch, which is great if you’re bringing a pet. Although it rained during our stay, the hot tub and firepit were still great features to have. The location is also a big plus—convenient to the trail system and within walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Kim’s place! The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Kim was incredibly responsive and kind throughout the booking process, making everything smooth and easy. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and surrounded by beautiful nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We were a group of 7 parents renting for our kids’ ski race at Saddleback. Leah’s home was perfect for us. It was very clean and everything was labeled and easy to find. We had a couple questions along the way and Leah was super quick to respond! We would stay here again! Thank you Leah!

Great little camp close to the lake with all of the conveniences of home. Driveway was easy to get in and out of during a big winter storm. Main roads were pretty well maintained. Prompt communication and had everything we needed.

Kelly was great and so was the cottage! We were cozy and very comfortable. We were greeted with many deer during the day. Town is a quick drive for any amenities.

We had an amazing week at Kyle’s Valhalla cabin. This was a fishing trip, I have been traveling to the Rangeley area every spring at “Ice out” to fish and this was one of the most memorable trips I have had. Kyle took note of the fact that we were fishermen and braved the cold water to install the dock for us before we arrived, the cabin was spotless and although remote, had all the comforts of home. We will definitely be back, what a great spot and an awesome host!

This was maybe our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! We are also Airbnb super hosts, so we are super picky lol. The pictures honestly do not do this place justice. The beautiful lawn leads out to the dock right on the lake, and the view is different all the time depending on the weather. The house itself is free of clutter and has a very well appointed kitchen. It is also right next to a convenience store, so extremely convenient, for grabbing coffee, sandwiches, toiletries, etc. And also walkable to the downtown area with local restaurants and shopping. We also drove up Sugarloaf Mountain and had two moose sightings! Definitely book this place - you won’t regret it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kirsten’s cabin is beautiful. Exactly like the photo’s, clean, new, spacious, quiet, remote, and relaxing. She’s an excellent host, very responsive and flexible. She messaged to check in to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend staying here anytime of the year.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The booking process and details leading up to our stay were clearly communicated. Check-in was smooth and easy. The house was clean and in a great location close to Rangeley Lake, restaurants/coffee shops, a grocery store, hiking trails, and the slopes. The kitchen was fully stocked and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Ample living rooms, common spaces, and game room allowed our group to spread out and enjoy the indoor space. While the porch, firepit, and yard provided lots of outdoor relaxation and fun. We would highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone traveling to the Rangeley area.
