Great place next to the lake. Very pristine and peaceful

This home was exactly what we were looking for! The host was amazing! Very prompt at returning messages, instructions were simple yet thorough, would highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at the lake house. The surrounding are beautiful and very peaceful. Aside from the occasional car going down the street across the lake it is very quiet. We took full advantage of the kayaks and were out on the lake every day and walking the bank looking for crawfish at night. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back again!

We loved the family feeling of the home, very beautiful views, love the flowers,forget me knots, could feel the love of family there.

Josh's place was great. close to our activities, not far from restaurants. josh was very quick to respond and remedy the only issue we had, which was with the hot tub. the only thing we didn't have that I personally wish there was, was a broom. the place was clean but I hate feeling dirt on my feet inside, so I bought a broom, but that was my decision. great place, thanks Josh

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

This home is comfy, cozy, and clean - a classic New Englander - and convenient to skiing and Bethel. Weather kept us from enjoying all of the area’s winter activities, but we enjoyed a relaxing stay.

The home served as the perfect place for a weekend retreat with friends. The kitchen is very well appointed, the entire home is gorgeous, bright and comfortable. Plenty of space to spread your wings with a spacious living room or den to hang out together when you choose. Giant dining room table that seated 12 of us. The six person hot tub was easy to use: Grateful for the extra towels. We enjoyed the dartboard and billiard table in the downstairs den. Saw many birds and several deer. Stacey is a great host: very quick to answer messages & offered valuable information about the town & property. We will be back.

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

We had an absolute blast at Troy’s place! I would genuinely recommend this for any group or family regardless of age and interests. It’s just a beautiful home and spot with lots of fun things to do in it!

Tamera’s cottage is very nice - exactly as pictured and described. Very nicely decorated and cozy. The view from the porch is wonderful - I can imagine sleeping there during the warmer months must be quite a treat. My daughter and I stayed there for a just a few days during quite a blizzard. Tamera was great about checking in to make sure that we were ok. Driveway was plowed for us promptly so that we could get out the day after the storm. This is my first visit to western Maine. We weren’t able to see as much as we would have liked due to the storm, but had a wonderful walk on the pond during the storm and braved waist-high snow to see Mother Walker’s Falls in Grafton Notch State Park. Suds Pub was a great spot for a quick meal. We’d happily visit again during better weather. Thank you, Tamera!

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and very well equipped. We really appreciated the quality of the cookware (much better than most airbnb's we have stayed in). Jonathan is a great communicator and very responsive. If you want to experience the natural beauty of Maine in solitude this is the place for you. We can't wait to return! We also recommend going to the Farmer's Daughter in Oquossoc for some fabulous locally grown and locally made food items. We stop in whenever we are in the area and this year we were fortunate to purchase some locally foraged fiddleheads along with a box full of other fabulously yummy items.

We stayed here to be near Bates college for graduation weekend. We felt right at home! The cabin was warm and inviting... cozy, clean and safe! It was so secluded, with a gorgeous view over the water. We would love to return when we can simply stay in the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet.

My friends and I had a great time relaxing at this beautiful place. Aqeel and Michelle were extremely responsive and helpful when necessary. We would stay again!

It was a great weekend getaway trip for my boyfriend and I. It was a nice area and relaxing and clam.

An absolute gem if you want to reconnect with family/nature, relax and unplugg. It was so peaceful and tranquil. my 5 year old son loved being in the loft stargazing at night. we would be sitting in the deck by the firepit for smores and some snacks every night. Truly, one of our best family trips. Kendra is also very responsive.

We love Rangely and this cabin made our trip this year extra special! We had everything from a snow storm on Saddleback to pristine beautiful weather and views on bald peak with my brother, sister in-law and two nieces who stayed down the street. We relaxed in the morning at the cabin and enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee with the lake view. At night the loons were there creating a peaceful environment. We also had some nocturnal birds chirping at night (it happens in spring sometime) which was really neat to hear! The water view was impeccable from the cabin and we got a great sunset on night #2. We ate out at the black pearl and furbish. We snagged local maple cream iced coffee at provisions (my favorite) and took some Carrabassett Sunrise coffee home with us. We can’t wait to return to the cabin next year! Thanks Tim!

If you like to relax or fish, swim, or watersports this is a great place. Clear clean water and a lovely place to stay. Next time I will bring my 4x4 and the boat. Easy ride to Rangely, Kingfield, and other place with nice restraints and places to shop. You will love it and most of all have fun. Thanks

Michael's home was a little slice of paradise! We did not have the greatest of weather for the long Memorial day weekend but it was so easy to make the best of it with Michael's home. There was 12 of us and there was plenty of space for all! Nights spent playing games and laughing around the fire! We would definitely return to stay at this beautiful home!

My hubbie, 3 daughters (18-20 yrs), and dog stayed for a week and LOVED this property! The camplike setting promotes adventure and an appreciation of the beautiful natural setting, but make no mistake, every nook and cranny is elevated in design and decor in a fabulous rustic/antique style. We had killer camp breakfasts made on the outdoor black stone griddle and cooked out on the grill. The outdoor shower is spectacular. The entire place is geared for you to enjoy beautiful Webb Lake, one of the clearest lakes in Maine. The large dock made for hours of hanging out + fishing, and the swimming pad was fun for swimming, sunning, napping, and gymnastics routines (it was an Olympics week!). The boathouse is a snuggly place to hang out and we used the paddleboards and kayaks each day of our stay. We fished off of the dock daily and kayaked to the inlets to fish for (and catch - and release) small-mouthed bass while listening to the loons and moose bugling. Really special place - thank you!
