This is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. The host had everything that you could possibly need plus some things that I didn’t expect (international plugs). She was fast to answer questions and friendly.

We had a great time in Ari’s property. Everything is perfect and fully equipped, it is a warm and beautiful place. We walked around and also feed horses, it was fun. We will definitely come again if we visit Iceland in the future.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

Secluded place. Felt a bit sketchy on our way to the house because of dark roads (we arrived super late ~10pm). Booked with the hope we would see northern lights but we didn’t due to weather. Decent home. Things to note: Steep and narrow stair steps. Shower space is very small so if you’re a bigger person you might feel claustrophobic. Still a solid choice for privacy.

This place is an absolute gem! We spent thoroughly enjoyed this secluded home. The hot tub was perfect for enjoying an evening outside. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. Everything was wonderful.

Lovely cabin, very well located for Vik and the Golden Circle. The cabin had everything we needed and was a good size. The location was amazing, we saw the northern lights outside the front door on the first night. Enjoyed the hot tub in the snow. We had a great time in the cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Erla's beautiful, stylish home. It has everything you could possibly need, and the welcome gifts were a lovely bonus. The beds are super comfortable and we slept better than in our own home because the neighbourhood is so quiet. The location is perfect for visiting various attractions (Golden Circle, Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon, etc) and Erla was really helpful in answering all our questions. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Lovely place in amazing surroundings. Really special place to relax, and incredible views. One of the favourite airbnb stays. They have made this house a lovely space off the main track. If you come in the winter do bring a 4x4 as it’s at the top of an incline.

This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

Björgvin is a great host and his place was everything our group was looking for. Remote house, with a hot tub, grill and good vibes. The location and the view from the terrace is beautiful with only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. Björgvin was really friendly and offered his assistance if we needed anything which was a nice touch.

we spent three nights in a very pleasant accommodation close to many sites. it is very well equipped, quiet and we were able to see northern lights from the sofa through the glass windows of the living room. we highly recommend this accommodation! thank you for the welcome and the ideas for visits nearby!

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is a dream vacation place. Ingibjorg is very friendly, helpful & communicative, and everything inside the cottage was pristine, well organized & very stylish. The outdoor amenities of the hot tub, sauna, glass patio house, and her very friendly horses in the adjacent field really made the place a one-of-a-kind 5-star stay. With a location that is very private in the rugged countryside only an hour and a half from Reykavik, it is ideally situated as a central hub for only an hour's drive to many main attractions in southern Iceland like Geysir, Gullfoss, Secret Lagoon to the north, and Seljalandsfoss, Solheimajokull and the Reynisfjara black sand beach to the south. It was a perfect stay for a wonderful trip! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland.

It is a very nice house, clean and tidy, and sometimes you can see the aurora directly from the window, I recommend it 5 stars

Stunning view. A classic A-frame cabin. Soooo quiet and peaceful. Peaceful. Easy to walk to the restaurant and if you choose, walk to the little communities nearby, including farms and the local church. It's a cabin in the golden circle. Don't be a jerk. Appreciate. We are all lucky to experience this. And if you ask a question, Jake ANSWERS you almost immediately. But really... the porch overlooking the valley... and the AMAZING outdoor shower with hot water from the local geothermal station. SHUT UP if you don't appreciate how special this is. Therapeutic. Ahhhhhhhh. We stayed up late and saw the northern lights. Doesn't get better for peace and authentic. Thanks Jake!!!! 😁

Skipholt 1 is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. The building is as described and it was clean and tidy. It could maybe use shampoo and one door handle was slightly loose, but no major issues at all. Karl was always responsive and helpful, and his dogs were friendly too! I would stay here again and recommend to others!

This was a nice cozy cabin with a hot tub and good location near Thingvellir and other ring road attractions (geysir, gullfoss, etc). Very private, and nice yard, though despite their being ~5-6 sleeping spots, the cabin itself was likely too small for that many (we had 3 and that was about the most I’d recommend). Host was very responsive and helpful. For those traveling the ring road, this is a great spot to have in the itinerary!

This was our second stay at Einar and Daddi’s home and it was just as amazing as the first ❤️ We felt right at home immediately, so cozy by the fire after our excursions for the day. We watched the northern lights from the warmth of the home since there are windows everywhere, making it very easy to see, even if you do not want to go outside. We truly could not have asked for a better experience. We will be back again, it’s just a matter of time. Thank you all so much again for your hospitality ❤️
