There is a sleeping sofa and also a floor mattress (140 cm) in the open garret attic. Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. A peaceful cottage on a small hiltop with a great view overlooking lake Apavatn where there is much birdlife (you maight be able to see ducks, loons or swans from the patio). The house is stylish and newly renovated. There are two spacious bedrooms plus a sleeping sofa. The view from the hut tub is amazing. The cottage is close to the nearest town (7 km) and to many of Iceland´s best known tourist attractions so it is a good base for exploring. Reg. HG-00017228
