Calf cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead!

Countryside getaway! If you want to experience something unique during your trip to Iceland this little house has been repurposed as guest house. On our farm it has always been called the Calf cabin, as it was used as a small barn and a stable in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycled and repurposed as much material as possible and we are pleased with the outcome. Now it is a cozy little suite.

Sjónarhóll is a holiday home built year 2000 in the Vörðufell area close to Laugarás small village, by the roads of the Golden circle. Beautiful location and scenery to the rivers Hvítá and Laxá. Hekla the volcano can be seen to the east and the glacer Langjökull to the northeast and panorama of other mountains. Our country house is a beautiful family cottage situated in the hill overlooking the lake, Gislholtsvatn, close to Hella in south Iceland. Quiet surrounding, covered with wood but easy walking trail to the lake bellow, with a great view. Main house and a guest house. Close to main attractions in the south of Iceland. We house 4-6, with extra bedding possible. Free internet via Vodafone. We have access to Netflix and other streaming services in a 55 inch TV.

Klara´s cottage, Private house in South Iceland

On our Farm, we have this cosy cottage (studio) The cottage is a good base if you intend to explore South Iceland. Beautiful views, green pastures and mountains. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm and say hello to our animals. We have horses, sheep, chickens, a cat and a friendly dog. In the wintertime ( September to March) we often have Northern lights (Aurora Borealis) dancing over us as we are away from the light pollution of the towns.

Little Black Cabin

We would like to welcome you to our cozy little cabin. It will give you the perfect opportunity to relax in a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.

Beindalsholt

The Bungalows are 28 square meters with a kitchen, dining table, private bathroom and a wonderful view from the windows or terrace outside the bungalows. You can see a few of the most famous volcanoes from the property like Mt. Hekla and Mt. Eyjafjallajökull and the Westman Islands as well. When you arrive, we will be there to welcome you.
