Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Wohnung, vorallem das Schlafzimmer war größer und schöner als es auf den Bildern wirkte. Es ist unglaublich leise und ungestört dort - perfekt um runterzukommen! Die zwei Hunde, die zum Hof gehören sind sehr süß und freundlich. Aber selbst wenn man Angst vor Hunden hat, wäre das kein Problem, die Hunde sind keinesfalls aufdringlich etc. Besonders beeindruckend fanden wir den schwarz-weißen Hund, welcher immer wieder den gleichen Stein unter Tausenden schwarzen Steinen wiederfinden konnte und einem diesen dann auf den Schuh gelegt hat - ein entzückendes Highlight!

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

True studio set up but plenty of space for two adults. Shower/toilet private space included robes and houseshoes! Northern lights could be seen right from the couch. Proactive communication with hostess on any concerns & questions were promptly handled. Beautiful setting with sheep to escort you to your car in the morning; two waterfalls (merkjarfoss, seljalandsfoss) in short drive for after dinner viewing in October. Building shared with other airbnb guests, but separate entrances can allow for non-engagement. However it's always great when your neighbor knocks to let you know to come back out for more lights! Pleasure to learn the history of this property from the hostess. Property well labeled, and off of paved road from Hvolsvollur. Highly recommend for functional home-base for Selfoss to Vik region.

We have enjoyed this place, very peaceful and perfectly situated to visit the Golden Circle sites. The housing is quite basic, but sufficient and very comfortable. We recommend this place.

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

Amazing and at an unbelievable place. Very quiet and the views are 10/10. Would definitely recommend while making a road trip through Iceland. The perfect stay! Host was very friendly and responsive, cleanliness of the place was spot on, it really felt like home even for one night. Would definitely love to stay again during our next trip!

Pequeña casa adosada, todo muy limpio. Habitación de matrimonio con cama doble, en la sala de estar, sofá cama cómodo. Cocina equipada con todo lo necesario para hacer de comer. baño limpio. lavadora qué nos fue de gran ayuda. hay un toallero caliente en el baño para tender, además de un toallero portátil normal de aluminio.

This was a great place to stay! Clean, quiet, and it was cool seeing the horses doing their thing. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Elfa is a very helpful and positive person! She provided all the instructions with flexibility. The place is situated close to the lake close to many landmarks and national parks. The apartment is very clean (the cleanest I ever had on Airbnb) and gives you a lot of privacy. I totally recommend!

Skipholt 1 is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. The building is as described and it was clean and tidy. It could maybe use shampoo and one door handle was slightly loose, but no major issues at all. Karl was always responsive and helpful, and his dogs were friendly too! I would stay here again and recommend to others!

Perfect! Location is peaceful and quiet yet 10 mins away from grocery store and gas station. Plenty of hot water. Irena was a perfect host. Bonus 2 cats and a dog! Would definitely stay again.

Logement très bien situé à mi chemin d’un côté vers Þingvellir et de l’autre côté vers Geysir et le secret Lagoon. La surface du logement est plutôt grande ce qui est plutôt agréable. Très bon échange avec Larus. À recommander.

Mein absolutes Highlight an Airbnb, die ich je hatte. Es war unglaublich schön und liebevoll mit vielen Details eingerichtet. Ruhige private Umgebung für erholsame Tage. Für Aktivitäten ist der golden Circle gut und schnell zu erreichen. Es gibt sogar mit dem Auto 8 Minuten entfernt eine heisse Quelle (Hrunalaug, 09:00-23:00 Uhr offen). Der Kaffe war ausgezeichnet für alle, die gerne am morgen früh draussen in der Natur sitzen und diesen geniessen wollen. Ich kann die Unterkunft empfehlen! Ich war zwei Tage dort. Wenn jemand mehr Zeit hat, empfehle ich mehre Tage.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits pour visiter les alentours de Selfoss et nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite à l'aise. Endroit calme et serein, loin du bruit de la ville. Propre, très bien tenu et tranquille. Nous recommandons sans hésiter à quiconque veut y faire un pied-à-terre pour voir tous les attraits touristiques de la région.

super séjour. un emplacement calme et très sympa a proximité du cercle d'or, des Highlands... parfait. le logement est très propre, bien équipé et le spa est un régal en fin de journée. très bon choix !!
