I had a wonderful long-term stay at this Airbnb! The space was comfortable, clean, and felt like home. The host was incredible—super friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything. The location was perfect- quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants, and transport. I loved being able to explore the area easily while enjoying a calm, safe neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

Michael is very committed, friendly, extremely helpful and easily accessible! The house offers plenty of space for a large group to enjoy and relax. The garden, the Braai area, is very inviting for hours. The decor throughout the house leaves nothing to be desired, everything is in impeccable condition, the rooms are very spacious, it just has plenty of space! The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need for cooking, baking, sizzling! The house has twice a week, on request more, a lady who takes care of the rooms, cleanliness and care of the house. She is a very hearty and lovely person, always happy to help out. The gardeners are very committed, keep the beautiful garden area very clean and very well maintained. In short: a little paradise. For us as golfers all the more because the house allows the view of the Parkview GC...always exciting to watch other golfers interpret the game for themselves.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Jeremy and Janet were absolutely wonderful hosts who welcomed both me and my pup with open arms. They're genuinely lovely people - the kind you could chat with for hours about anything and everything. Their helper Kingsley was fantastic too, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is stunning - gorgeous architecture with beautiful paintings throughout that honestly made me feel like I was staying in some charming European home. The neighborhood felt really safe as well. I parked on the street every day without any worries and enjoyed walking around the area regularly. Overall, this was such a great experience with truly exceptional hosts. I'd recommend Jeremy and Janet to anyone looking for a special place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

Fantastic stay! The estate is really safe and the restaurant on site is amazing for great value. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely 3-bedroom home! Our family of 6, plus our infant, were very comfortably accommodated. The house was exactly as listed—clean, spacious, and equipped with all the promised amenities. It felt very homey and perfect for a family getaway. The host went above and beyond—she was incredibly courteous and responsive throughout our stay. We were especially touched that she even purchased a baby bath for us, in addition to providing the cot listed in the description. Her thoughtful gestures and prompt communication made our trip smooth and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Karen’s house. It was a wonderful place to stay at and reconnect with our family. There were enough rooms and a lot of sitting areas indoors and outdoors to accommodate a large family. Also Karen was a very helpful and accommodating host. When we needed anything she was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Had a great stay at Fiona’s cottage, it looked just like the photos and had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings were perfect for unwinding, and Fiona was super responsive. Would definitely book again!
