FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The float cabin. Genuine cabin near the creek.

Unique and cozy home in newly renovated old plant for rafts. Timber floating took place over many years on the creeks in the area until the 60 's. The nearest neighbor is a beaver family in the creek next door. Swimming area with pier approx. 600 meters. Rowing boat and 2 canoes can be freely disposed of in Lake Bosjön. It is very sparse traffic in the area so you experience the silence along with the sounds of nature. Bedding and towels are provided for a cost of SEK 100/person. Wooden fire sauna by the lake can be rented.

Het huis is geschikt voor 2 personen, maar in overleg uit te rusten met een kinderbed. Tevens is het huis gevuld met alles wat u maar nodig hebt. Ontbreekt er toch iets, vraag er dan gerust naar. De accomodatie is ook erg handig als tussenstop voor uw doorreis richting het noorden.

We had an unforgettable time in this little house by the lake! The location is fantastic: right on the water, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility. Wandering over the quiet lake in the morning was simply magical. The house is cozy, very clean and furnished with love. Everything you need is available - from the well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The evenings on the terrace with a view of the sunset were particularly beautiful. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and always available. We felt completely comfortable and welcome. If you are looking for nature, tranquility and Swedish idyll, you have come to the right place. We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend this cottage. Thank you so much for this wonderful time!

Very cozy cottage, really lives up to the name Lugnet. Secluded in the middle of nature, right by the water. My partner and I celebrated Midsummer for ourselves out here and spent 1.5 days with everything we miss in everyday life. Swam and bathed, rested on the jetty in the sun, watched birds and tadpoles, rowed out on the lake, grilled well, lit the open fireplace in the evening and solved crossword puzzles on the sofa. The cottage was well equipped and prepared for our visit and the host couple was very nice and gave clear instructions. We will certainly book a visit again in the future and give our warmest recommendations!

Christine's house is beautifully located and completely as described in the listing. Christine is great to communicate with and answers all your questions in a short time. There are indeed neighbors not far away but they are friendly and not intrusive. The house is blissfully located in peace and nature. Sure!
