Samawati (translates to 'heavenly place' in the local language) is a charming Lamu Arab style double storey villa overlooking one of the last unspoilt beaches on Kenya's Indian Ocean coastline. Each of the four bedrooms face the ocean and the elevated position catches all the breeze from the beachfront. The six acre private garden provides privacy and a haven for birds and wildlife. House comes fully staffed with cook and housekeeper.

Swali house was built around 25 years ago by the owner's parents on a block of virgin coastal land after they'd succeeded in finding somewhere both secluded and tranquil. Msambweni is a remote unspoilt fishing town with few tourists, on the south coast near the Tanzanian border. The house was recently modernized and renovated extensively, adding a fresh water pool and an additional cottage containing the 5th bedroom - all with en-suite bathrooms. The house now sleeps 10 very comfortably.
