We spent a week with Thierry in May. Thierry responded very kindly and uncomplicated to the fact that our arrival was delayed more and more. He welcomed us very nicely and gave us many tips. You can see from the house that Thierry is a flea market fan, we thought that gives the house character, it is really unique. It is quiet, with a lot of nature around, the frogs croak their concert, and the nightingales sing at night. The large, slightly overgrown garden (we like it) was fenced in so that our dog could go in and out of the house as he pleased. The area is pleasantly less crowded with tourists, but there were still opportunities to do something. Small tip: do not stay in the caravan if you are taller than about 180 cm (we are a little shorter, so it worked out well). Many thanks to Thierry, we hope to come back!

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

Fabrice was responsive and totally accommodating in terms of arrival! we were just passing through but we really enjoyed the place! nothing to repeat! the beds were even prepared and the coffee available! what could be better we recommend it without so much as a second thought

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

One-night stay only that I can only recommend. Very close accommodation, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Very comfortable. Ideal location in a quiet and beautiful setting, only 30 minutes from Bordeaux. Late and last-minute booking but very responsive and friendly host. The fact that animals are accepted is a big plus for me, as I travel with my 2 dogs (who also enjoyed the presence of the hosts' friendly dog!). I will definitely come back when I return to Bordeaux. This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in housing👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to both of you 🌞

We had a great time at Benoit's, a house even more beautiful than in the photos, very clean, spacious and very well maintained and a green and very well-kept garden. Benoit is a thoughtful and very responsive host if needed, I recommend it 100% 😉

We had a wonderful stay, the home is stylish and well equipped. Location is great - peaceful and private yet close to everything you need. Lovely kitchen and outdoor area for meals and relaxing. Philippe was great at sharing instructions and even when we had a bit of an issue with a wild storm he was on hand at all times day and night in case we needed something. Definitely would return on our next trip!

A very, very beautiful house. Brand new. Extremely comfortable and comfortable to live in. The pool was not very hot but the kids enjoyed swimming. Lacanau is a very nice seaside resort. We had a great time with the family . Philippe

Beautiful home and grounds! Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Communication with Caroline was excellent! Always with a quick response to questions and even worked out a birthday cake and wine for our traveling friend. Nice outside seating area to enjoy by the pool. Would highly recommend!

A very nice accommodation in a very nice village, on the edge of the estuary. Very clean, nicely decorated, with an outdoor plancha, a garden, a few chickens (in an enclosure) and a few cats that you will meet at random. Very discreet and very friendly owners. A tavern (Ma zo li) has recently opened just opposite (Thursday to Sunday): possibility of eating grilled meat or fish, mussels on Friday evening, having a drink, in a wooded place. At very affordable prices. The accommodation is ideally located for visiting Meshers, Talmont sur Gironde, Royan, Mornac sur Seudre, Mortagne sur Gironde (port).

Beautiful house, very good bedding and very well maintained / easy to use (ground floor). The fenced and secure park (with playground) for children - ideal! Living room with wood stove, very pleasant in the evening and cocooning - a haven of peace. Very responsive host on the platform, beach recommendations and easy communication. In short, a great place.

A very beautiful, very well maintained, peaceful Airbnb and all amenities within walking distance, covered market 200 m away, Super U and the beach. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Pentecost weekend. The villa is perfect for a stay with friends: nice decor , qualitative environment, close to the beach ... Our teenagers had a blast at the water park and snored in the dorm . You can book without a second thought . JB and Andrea are golden hosts and do their best to make everything perfect . We enjoyed the accommodation very much. It has a beautiful garden with a large terrace and is only 10 minutes' walk from the beach. Communication also worked without any problems. We would definitely recommend it😊
