A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Excellent stay at this peaceful, well-equipped and well-decorated place! The hosts are very friendly and responsive! Heated and clean pool! Excellent location: just steps from Lake Lacanau! Recommended without so much as a second thought!

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

The house and kitchen were very clean and extensively equiped with many condiments, cling wrap etc. Constance was very prompt and helpful when needed. Pool was heated which was a bonus. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

We had a lovely Easter weekend at the estate which is full of charm... We didn't have the time we hoped so we couldn't enjoy the pool...( but it was tempting!) Emmanuel very kindly welcomed us... and made our stay enjoyable Recommended rental

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

A very nice accommodation in a very nice village, on the edge of the estuary. Very clean, nicely decorated, with an outdoor plancha, a garden, a few chickens (in an enclosure) and a few cats that you will meet at random. Very discreet and very friendly owners. A tavern (Ma zo li) has recently opened just opposite (Thursday to Sunday): possibility of eating grilled meat or fish, mussels on Friday evening, having a drink, in a wooded place. At very affordable prices. The accommodation is ideally located for visiting Meshers, Talmont sur Gironde, Royan, Mornac sur Seudre, Mortagne sur Gironde (port).

I had a great stay at Fleur's. The welcome was warm and the communication was smooth from the start. The accommodation is exactly as in the photos, very clean, well-equipped and carefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to everything you need, while being quiet and pleasant. Fleur is a caring and available host, ready to answer any questions and give useful tips to make the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in a comfortable and welcoming place. If the opportunity arises, I will come back without hesitation! 😊

Very understanding, very welcoming hosts. A place in a great location, the ocean at our feet. The city center of Soulac nearby. Very well arranged, clean, very good bedding, a quiet and relaxing environment. An address that we treasure. Can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay in the Bay of Arcachon. The house is ideally located to enjoy the activities of the basin (Vélodyssée, oyster farms, towns, etc.). The accommodation is functional and pleasant for the older and younger ones (petanque, swimming pool, ping-pong table, etc.). The accommodation is perfectly suited for a group of 9 people, each has their own space. Estelle and Annie were available, accommodating and punctual for check-in and check-out times. We recommend this accommodation and can't wait to come back and visit the basin!

Excellent family stay in a typical Cap Ferret cabin. The location is ideal 2 steps from shops and feet in the sand, the sunrises are magical! The house is very cozy and fully equipped. The outdoor shower is a must. Thanks to Christel and Marie for this stay. We'll be back!

Delphine was a fantastic host! Being a large group, it’s always hard to find a suitable place but this was perfect. Watersports on our door step, and beautiful sunsets every night. As a host, Delphine was great… always answered my messages and helped when we had a huge storm that stopped the electrics for some hours! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Michael is a very welcoming host, his advice is wise. The chalet is cozy, warm and well-equipped with a nice garden. Impeccable cleanliness and very good bedding. Possibilities of walks to the lake on foot or by bike from the chalet. Perfect for discovering the region.

Even better in real life than in the photos, the house and the place are ideal for spending an excellent day and evening with friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Maxime’s villa - it was perfect for our family. The grounds are stunning and we were able to enjoy nights out by the pool with the BBQ going. The house is gorgeous and gave us plenty of room for our group. Maxime was very quick to get back to me if I had a query and was exceptionally helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want quiet, peaceful surroundings

Our stay at Remi’s place was beyond expectations. The property is beautiful (even better than photos) & all of the amenities are right where you need them. Our check-in time was flexible & were met at the gate when we arrived. Our room was in pristine condition, the kitchen was beautiful & we loved the little porch area where we could have our morning coffee. And the saltwater pool is amazing; perfect temp & all. We would definitely stay here again in the future & recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful stay in the beautiful town of Portets.

Everything was perfect, the house and garden are beautiful and perfectly match the photos. The house is clean and perfectly maintained, nothing to say. Note that there is strangely a mosquito attack every evening around 7:30 p.m., but they leave as quickly as they arrive. The welcome and communication went perfectly, nothing to say. Thank you to Cyrille and his family for a wonderful stay. If only we could have stayed longer. The pool area is so relaxing and the surroundings are stunning. The interior design was also lovely and homely and the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials. Communication was fantastic. We would love to go back!!
