We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

Villa Mariana is a gem of a place, with the most fabulous and genuine owners that made our stay so welcome and enjoyable. We chatted to them, and enjoyed the stories of years gone by in the real Portugal. We also found out that Jose, Pedro's father, was a very talented artist with drawings and painting going back decades. The big highlight of our stay was the wonderful swimming pool, which we had exclusive use of. Sun loungers and a Gazebo to sit around the pool and have a cold beer or wine were very welcome too. We found that getting from Faro airport to Villa Mariana, was a small challenge, as Uber didn't recognise the address that we got from Pedro. So we took a Taxi to the Lidl supermarket at Sao Bras, where Pedro then picked us up in his car. This worked very well, but if Pedro is not there you will need to have a clear address, and take a taxi. Also, trying to get an Uber from Villa Mariana is impossible, so stick to genuine Taxis that are very good value. We had a great time !!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

Es una casa maravillosa. Esta muy bien localizada. Tiene de todo para disfrutar de ella. Lástima que el trato sea simplemente de negocio. La hora de salida era las 12, pedimos alargar un poco, y para ello tuvimos que pagar una cantidad desproporcionada por 5 horas mas, todo por mensaje. Igual debería regular Airbnb eso. Como íbamos con un bebe, y teníamos el vuelo muy tarde tuvimos que hacerlo. Es la primera vez que nos pasa sin que nadie entrara al día siguiente (lo sabemos porque en cuanto pagamos no hubo problemas). Por supuesto que no es obligatorio, es una cortesía, y otras veces bien no lo hemos necesitado, bien no lo hemos pedido. Cometieron un error grave diciéndonos que teníamos incluido el desayuno, y cuando fuimos, nos dijeron que se habían equivocado. Y que todo el mundo comete errores. En cualquier caso, la casa maravillosa. Perfecta para pasar unos días estupendos.

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einem schönen Haus mit großem Pool und Garten. Durch die vielen Angebote wie das Volleyballfeld, Tischtennis und Billard kann es einem hier gar nicht langweilig werden. Die Kommunikation war super und es hat alles problemlos geklappt. Die Lage des Hauses ist in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend, zu Fuß ist nur wenig zu erreichen aber mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt, am Strand oder am Supermarkt. Vielen Dank für das tolle Haus und den schönen Urlaub.

Carla’s Villa Abaton ,Estoi (pronounced”Stoi”) exceeded all expectations, very spacious ,clean ,comfortable and quiet, solid structure keeping noise in the Villa to a minimum to other rooms. Will recommend Villa to anyone who wants an authentic (Rural)area to stay in. Top stars go to Carla’s Villa

Our stay was brilliant, the air bnb is gorgeous with a cool small pool to cool off in, and extremely close to a wide selection of local restaurants, a supermarket and the marina. Communication with the host was nice and easy, and the air bnb very thoughtfully had everything we could need. The only slight downside was the construction noise from next door, but don’t let this put you off, we had some days by the pool and playing some music was enough to cover it & it was always finished by 5pm. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Beautiful part of Portugal . The house is in easy walking distances of marina and restaurants etc Mini market 50yards ! And beautiful hotel casa amor next block . Would definitely return

Wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung, wären gerne länger geblieben!! Man muss aber wissen, dass die Wohnung nicht direkt in Faro, sondern in Estoi ist (ca. 20 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt). Der Ort ist aber dafür sehr ruhig, schön und richtig portugiesisch.

Die Wohnung war genau wie auf den Fotos, unsere Erwartungen wurden vollständig erfüllt. Die Lage ist toll, denn man kann alles in Olhâo fußläufig erreichen, auch zur Fähre zu den vorgelagerten Inseln ist es nicht weit (10 Minuten zu Fuß). Trotzdem ist es nachts sehr ruhig. Alles im Haue war sehr sauber. Das Highlight ist die Dachterrasse, auch dass es 3 Badezimmer mit 3 Duschen gab, war für uns als Familie zu viert ein Luxus und sehr praktisch. Um auf die Dachterrasse zu gelangen, sollte man gut zu Fuß sein, da die letzten Treppe ziemlich steil ist. Isabel, die Schwester des Vermieters, hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns viele Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Über das leckere und umfangreiche Begrüßungsgeschenk (Thunfischpaste, Marmelade, Wein, Kekse…) haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen.

Nice and clean apartment. Somewhat outside the city center, but at walkable distance (20 min.). Free, safe parking on site. Nice pool and terrace area. Aldi shop one minute away (walking). Very easy communication with Priscilla.

Sehr nettes Haus mitten in Olhao. Wir fanden vor allem die Lage super: Markthallen, Hafen mit Fähranleger, gute und günstige Restaurants, Cafés, Supermarkt - alles in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wer gern bei gekipptem Fenster schläft, sollte vielleicht wissen, dass man im Schlafzimmer jeden Hund auf der Straße, jeden Schritt, jedes Gespräch mitbekommt. Dabei ist es wirklich eine ruhige Straße und es fährt auch kein Auto durch! Für uns aber trotzdem eine klare 5/5: Alles sauber, alles in tadellosem Zustand, tolle Dachterrasse, unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Gerne nochmal!

Notre hôte étais très accueillant et réactif en cas de demande. Manque juste un miroir dans chaque chambre pour les femmes et une tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser les trousses. Sinon tout est parfait. Merci

Perfect place in the most beautiful setting! Peaceful and quiet yet only a short drive from locals towns with loads to do! We had everything we needed, the apartment is very well equipped (so grateful for the cot and high chair!) and spotlessly clean! Thank you to everyone involved :) we had a brilliant stay!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Dereks wunderschönem Haus! Wer Ruhe sucht und das portugiesische Leben genießen will, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist toll renoviert, gemütlich eingerichtet, super ausgestattet und war absolut sauber. Besonders ist auch, dass wir Wasser, Wein, Kaffee, Obst, Duschbad und vieles mehr bereits im Haus vorfanden. Derek hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, war immer erreichbar und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Die Terrasse mit dem Whirlpool ist ein Traum und die Lage des Hauses im kleinen, schönen Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo ist auch super. Von hier aus ist man schnell in Tavira, Olhão, Fuseta oder auch Faro und an den Stränden der Sandalgarve. Danke für die tolle Zeit, Derek! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Cesar est un excellent hôte, il est réactif, arrangeant et très sympathique ! J’ai malheureusement oublié une affaire personnelle qu’il n’a pas hésité à me renvoyer par la poste. Le logement était impeccable et extrêmement agréable. Calme et reposant, nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Les alentours sont de plus très agréables, le centre d’Olhão est adorable et vaut vraiment le détour. Il est possible de faire beaucoup de choses à proximité ! De plus, le logement dispose de nombreux ustensiles et équipements extrêmement pratiques (notamment la climatisation, machine à laver, à café et pleins d’autres). Je recommande fortement nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Rieneke & Remco! Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wir konnten uns gut entspannen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und super schön eingerichtet, wir haben noch nie ein so gut ausgestattetes AirBnB erlebt. Remco stand uns für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung und versorgte uns auch zwischendurch mit frischem Obst aus dem Garten. Am liebsten wären wir gar nicht abgereist und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder!

Adorámos a nossa estadia na Casa Cavalo Marinho. Um verdadeiro refúgio de paz e sossego, com uma atmosfera relaxante e acolhedora, tudo o que procurávamos para estas férias. A casa está impecavelmente equipada, com atenção a cada detalhe que fez toda a diferença. A piscina é agradável e cuidada. O Sr Pedro foi sempre muito atencioso e disponível. E o nosso cão também teve umas férias de sonho, com muito espaço para correr e explorar em segurança. Voltaremos com certeza e recomendamos muito.

Wat een groot huis! 3 terrassen en 3 grote slaapkamers tezamen met een volledig geëquipeerde keuken en fijne leefruimte. Zalig vertoeven en gemakkelijke communicatie. Wij komen nog eens terug!

Jättetrevligt boende med allt man behöver för en lyckad semester. Vi gillade speciellt terassen och solsängen! Isabel hjälpte oss att checka in och gav oss väldigt hjälpsamma tips, hon är supertrevlig! Det enda vi hade lite svårt för var att det blev väldigt fuktigt och lite dålig lukt på undervåningen. Annars superbra!

Comfortable home, centrally located. Great place to mix work and play. We had a great stay including home cooked meals and yoga on the roof deck.

Awesome place to both recharge and meet good people. Beautiful nature and beach nearby. Cats and dogs are the best company :) Sara was very involved, always friendly and helpful and organizing trips or gatherings. Lovely environment, great for a recharge!

Bon logement spacieux en rez-de-chaussée. A proximité immédiate d'un restaurant qui peut faire un peu de bruit la nuit. Personnellement ça ne m'a pas dérangé mais mon copain a entendu le bruit pendant la nuit. L'emplacement est optimal et a proximité du centre et du port.
