A true bed and breakfast in a sea of stale air bnbs! Sharon met me upon arrival and showed me to my private abode in the center of a working cherry (and other things!) farm. The fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, butter and bread, and there was a nespresso machine + a selection of teas. She also gave me a book of local wineries and their backgrounds which I greatly appreciated and used throughout my stay. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

A simple, warm, well equipped space in a great central location, close to the lakefront walks. Me and my dog were very comfy. Thoughtful provision of covers to help minimise the dog hair that inevitably is part of dog friendly accommodation. Thanks for making your space pet friendly.

This was a perfect stay, convenient right across the bus stop and Foursquare. I felt so at home and so welcome. Arrowtown is a real hidden gem and it was a manageable walking distance into town to explore further. Great suggestions in the compendium, comfortable and warm bed and the heat pump was a bonus, although I didn’t need it much with the lovely sunny few days. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing house, amazing hosts, cool animals which you can feed! Setting is absolutely stunning, close enough to Queenstown but remote enough to feel the serene landscape, amazing night sky's too. Hosts went above and beyond and did everything with a smile. Great spot!!

Suzanne’s property was the best decision we could have made for our trip. Gorgeous rustic design and a working ranch with deer stock nearby. Halfway between Queenstown and Glenorchy the location was perfect for a quiet retreat after a being out and about in town/nature. There are a few guest houses at the location and everyone was friendly and we had plenty of privacy while not being too isolated. Loved it and would stay again or recommend it to friends. We had an unforgettable four days here — it was so comfy that we ended up extending our stay! It truly felt like home. You’ll be amazed by all the thoughtful little touches Sharon and Brad have put into the place. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back again. We have to mention that Jet is the most friendly, adorable and gentle four legged fluffy friend we’ve ever met! We loved he’s visit and he definitely elevated the whole experience

This place is the “Four Seasons” of rural NZ. Located in a vineyard and a short walk to Lake Dunstan, this cute little cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts have thoughtfully designed the space and furnished it with all mod cons to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The stand out feature is of course the outdoor hot tub which we got to experience on a chilly autumn night after a long day of travel. Just ensure you let the hosts know so they can fire it up and have it ready for you to jump in. Can’t wait to tell family and friends all about this place so they can also experience this little slice of paradise.

This is a very new one bedroom apartment separated off from a house in a residential neighborhood about 15 minutes driving time from Queenstown. The space is very comfortable and the views from the area are really special. Emma and Paul were very proactive and caring, helping me with several issues that arose during my stay. The bed is very nice and the shower was great. Guests should know that as of 2025 Emma has an infant, so from time to time you can hear crying or playing inside the apartment. It's not bad, but you should have earplugs if you think that might bother you.

Thank you Steph for such a beautiful stay. The photos did not do the room justice, it was impeccably clean with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the heat hump, heated towel rack and floors for our winter stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Steph’s place again.

The AirBnb was a beautiful place for our holiday and we were grateful that Sunny and the owners were comfortable with us taking some photos at the accommodation before our wedding. We found the place very homey and peaceful, with beautiful landscaping and scenery and not too far from the city. The owners were also friendly and approachable and happy to help with any questions we had - we would recommend this accommodation to anybody looking to holiday away from busy Central Queenstown!

Gail and Peter were fantastic hosts. Parking and accessing the property was easy and all the information we needed was provided to us. The place was clean, tidy and very welcoming. Would 100% recommend a stay here :)

Open space and very beautiful Surroundings. The house has high ceilings compared to other normal hotel rooms or studio apartments which makes the place looks super elegant. Nice green and mountain views from inside living and bedroom. The hosts are super friendly and responsive at all times. Strongly recommend this stay in Wānaka as the location is very peaceful.

Our stay at Mei's place was great. Very comfortable and cosy and has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and felt quite comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as shown and nice and clean. The wifi was good which was really helpful for work purposes. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Would definitely recommend it.

Don's place was perfect for a few night's stay. It is well furnished with everything we needed, such as a full kitchen and washing machine/dryer. We especially appreciated coming to a home that can be heated well during the cold winter. The place was located in a quiet neighbourhood that's only about 10 mins to town!

Cosy and beautiful apartment with a nice view to boot! Came with a nice little garden with a tree house and trampoline that kids will always want to jump in. About 8 min into the main town.

Really lovely house with a sweet little garden at the back. We were travelling with two small children and it was perfect. A lovely distance from the town and really nice walks nearby. The house was spotless and had super comfy beds and an amazing shower. We would definitely return. Thank you so much for having us!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rental accommodation just a short walk from Queenstown! The location couldn’t have been better—close enough to enjoy a leisurely stroll into town yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and serene. The views were breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the lake that we couldn’t get enough of. The property itself was immaculate. It was clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which made our stay all the more comfortable. What truly stood out were the thoughtful daily amenities—fresh bread, delicious cakes, and other treats that added a delightful touch to our mornings. It was these small yet meaningful details that made us feel so welcome. The combination of unbeatable location, outstanding hospitality, and those mesmerizing lake views made this an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Queenstown and will certainly return on our next trip!

Everything was exceptional at Jaimee's: it is quiet, clean, modern (with a super-comfy bed!) and Jaimee is an excellent communicator. The unit is very well laid out and provides an ideal launching point for activities in the area. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Queenstown and the view was great. I don't hesitate to recomend Jaimee's place to others visiting Queenstown and the surrounding area.
