Vicki and Dan are superb hosts. They are so proactive and helpful. They showed how much they cared about us having a great stay by their excellent communication. This home is decorated so well, and each detail is stunning. They have built much of the decor and it is so beautiful. They had the fire lit for us when we got there, which was such a great touch. The house was well stocked, and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bedrooms were very comfortable and very nice. The hot tub was enjoyable, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We truly appreciated our stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us and for sharing your beautiful corner of the world!

Julianne’s home was perfect for our stay. Situated in a superb location to enjoy all that is special about Wanaka. Fabulous views over Lake Wanaka and the mountains. Magical sunsets. Beautiful surrounds all walkable. Peaceful neighbourhood. A very spacious and comfortable home with everything we needed and more. Thank you Julianne for being a superhost. We really enjoyed our time at Queenstown and a big part of that was due to the house and to Kat and Geoff. The views from the house are breathtaking and the house itself so warm, clean and comfortable that it took a lot of determination for us to actually leave the house every day to go out and explore. We ended up spending a couple of days not leaving the house at all and ordering in meals because we found the house such a joy to be in. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a well equipped airbnb and I can’t praise Kat enough for all her efforts to make us feel welcome and comfortable in the house. Kat and Geoff are also amazing hosts and lovely people and their responsiveness is second to none. If I could give this stay more than 5 stars, I would. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and Kat and Geoff to anyone who wishes to visit and spend time in Queenstown.

Jeanie's home in Glenorchy was perfect for our Easter Holiday adventure. The house was clean and comfortable with easy check in. We had two bedrooms with two private bathrooms. A third bedroom was set up in the patio as a cozy container. We enjoyed the comfy beds and the showers had great hot water pressure! Loved the large kitchen to prepare our meals and the comfortable outdoor area to seat and enjoy the stunning views. The house has easy access to walking trails and it's a five minute walk into town. The mountain views from the house were stunning. I would recommend Janies house and will keep it on my favourite list of places to return.

very good location near to wanaka town with beautiful environment and stunning mountain view, clean room and comfortable beds, a very new property with modern decorations, suitable for ski couples or family tourist.

This was my second stay at Thyme Out and it was just as good as the first stay. Lovely and clean, warm and cosy. Handy to walk into town and have a drink as well. Thanks so much Kate!

Sharon was a very gracious host. Despite not having toys on site, when my niece asked for one, she got her a toy on our return from a day out. The place is in a good distance from town.

We had a magical stay here. We couldn’t have felt more at home and relaxed. It was pristine and had a welcoming and warm fee, just like home. We enjoyed walking around town (which was a short drive away with ample parking) walking the lake and then returned to watch the sunset with the amazing view! Jo was awesome and the breakfast was so very generous. Communication, check in and parking were all easy and great. We will definitely book here when we return!

Better than what we could have imagined! No.8 Queenstown will forever hold some out happiest memories. We stayed here for 4 nights for our 10 year anniversary and the place was immaculately presented, smelt so fresh & clean & it was somehow even better than the photos! The views from the living area and bath are breathtaking. Karine is so pleasant, incredibly helpful & generous in the additional amenities that she provided & it was truly hard to leave. I cannot wait til we can come back again. Thank you for making our Queenstown stay the absolute best!

From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us like family. We even (seriously) asked if she’d adopt us — and we’re 29 and 30! She’s the ultimate Kiwi mum: warm, thoughtful, and endlessly generous. She made my partner’s birthday so special with heartfelt touches we’ll never forget. Beryle went above and beyond in every single way. She was incredibly helpful in reviewing our itinerary and used her local knowledge to help us adjust our plans when the weather changed. Her advice was thoughtful, practical, and spot-on. I would use my last dying breath to recommend you stay with Beryle. This was more than a place to sleep — it was a highlight of our trip, thanks to one remarkable woman. The bed was amazing and the bathroom great! We arrived as guests, left as family. I wish I could say more, but I only have 999 characters!

Our stay here was super comfortable, and Karen was a super responsive and helpful host! The location is very central, so it is super easy to get places and do activities around Queenstown. We left an item there, and Karen was quickly able to send it where we needed it to go. This was definitely the coziest, most comfortable AirBnb I’ve stayed in in a long time! :)

Jane was very attentive and had the fire lit for our guys every day of the stay before they came back for the evening. This was a special touch after a day of installing floors down the road! Great place to spend the night in Kingston. Would recommend, especially if you are looking for somewhere exactly half way between Queenstown and Te Anau.

Waiorau Homestead was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. Our hostess Ann was extremely attentive and made sure we had every thing on hand to ensure a relaxing and peaceful stay. The most comfortable bed and luxurious down comforters and pillows were 5 star quality. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and felt like we were in a Parisian Hotel. A lovely buffet breakfast greeted us each morning which comprised of seasonal fruits, cereals , eggs on toast and croissants followed by freshly brewed coffee. Thank you so much for having us & making our stay perfect.

I came to Paul’s place for one night with my mom and we had such a lovely stay. The place was clean and well located. We had a lovely stay.

Sheryl’s place is an absolute must for visiting New Zealand’s South Island! We stumbled on her place in a last minute booking, avoiding rain, and ended up staying another night because of how lovely our experience was. Sheryl is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we loved chatting with her. Her house is not only stunning, but steps away from Lake Hawea— a must stay!

Absolutely lovely accommodations. Everything was clean and comfortable. I was able to do a load of washing, which was greatly appreciated. Gary was great to talk to and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend.

Susan and Mike's private spot just out of Clyde was perfect for our short stay. Their guest area is private, homely, and had everything we needed. We appreciated the yummy breakfast, and the friendly chat we had over our morning coffee. Fantastic hosts and a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking – I’ll never forget falling asleep under the sparkling Milky Way at night. The house’s location was great , with the bus stop just a short walk away, making it so easy to explore the area. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I slept better here than at home!), and I truly appreciated how safe and peaceful the entire stay felt. Peggy ’ve created such a special retreat, and I’m already dreaming of returning someday.
