At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and summer seasonal farm animals. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. You will find yourself surrounded by cedar trees, spruce trees, and tamarack trees, and Clarkson University is close enough to see the Science Center!

Village apartment near SLU

Enjoy being easy walking distance to St. Lawrence University and main street. The efficiency apartment has a full kitchen and cozy combined bedroom and seating room with a view over the deck and backyard where a BBQ is available. The entrance from the deck is private and separate from the main house where I live with two quiet dogs on a friendly street. The apartment is 20 m walking/5 m driving to SUNY Canton and 15 m driving to Potsdam. There are also trails and two golf courses nearby.

Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all communities.

The Cabin Retreat on Elm Street

Kick back and relax in this small cozy cabin located on Elm street just outside of Potsdam. The cabin is conveniently just minutes from Canton Potsdam Hospital, SUNY Potsdam, and Clarkson University. Sleeps up to 3 guests. There is a Queen size Sleep Number bed in the upstairs loft, and the sofa bed pulls out into a twin bed. Sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the views on the balcony. Grill some dinner outback on the patio. Enjoy the privacy of the entire cabin to yourself.

The Lilypad

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a space that provides a reset for life's stressors. The Lilypad is elevated off the ground to provide an incredible view overlooking a pond and forest. Please note 10 stairs. Outdoor hot seasonal shower available Take a stroll on the sprawling lawns or a gentle walk on the trails. 5 minute drive to the town of Canton. Curl up with a book or a journal. The Lilypad was designed to unplug you from society.

Canton home w/ private apartment on Grasse River

A private entrance to apartment on 2nd fl. (above a garage). Comfortable for up to 4 people; clean & well-maintained with all the needed amenities; makes for an easy stay. The space is dog friendly (prior approval required). Outdoor yard space on property is limited use (weather permitting). Also a quick walk to SLU campus & downtown Canton or trek across town to SUNY Canton.

The Barn

The Barn is an upstairs apartment in a converted 1840's post and beam horse barn. This private apartment is nestled in a wooded location adjacent to miles of hiking and skiing, and Mtn biking trails in the Stone Valley Recreation area along the Raquette River. The Barn is on a 5.5 acres, my home is about 100 feet from the barn. Pets are negotiable.

Experience the beautiful Adirondacks in a rustic, yet cozy cabin. Dragonfly and River Rat are located on 9 private acres situated along the bank of the Oswegatchie River. There are only 3 cabins on the property, rent the 2 and bring the whole family or just rent 1 and still feel like your secluded. We stay in the 3rd cabin for the season.
