Yurt holiday rentals in Pyrenees

Absolutely wonderful !!! Has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed. Really breathtaking. The yurt was beautiful. And roomy. Had everything you needed and the beds were so comfy. No light pollution or sound pollution. One of the ( if not the best ) sleeps I’ve ever had.

We didn't want to leave. Next year we will come back. Ali and Matt are really great hosts. They are welcoming and always willing to help. We could feel that they really want to share with us the space that they have created with so much love and detail. The place is an inspiration for every every one who values self made things. We had a fantastic experience in the yurt. It is as beautiful and cozy as the photos suggested. We have slept well and exceptionally deep. Everything is full of nice, but also well thought through details. We love cooking, and the kitchen has everything we needed. Even the knives were sharp (first time in all those years of using AirBNB)! Some nights we made BBQ. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can even see the mediterranen sea in the distance. The yurt and the kitchen are nicely private, still not isolate as there are the other gites just a few stairs up the mountain. There are many activities that you can enjoy there. There are great hiking routes that pass through oak, chestnut and hazel tree forest, with creeks and natural pools. However, we spent most of the time just around the yurt and the pool. It was so relaxing. It's also an amazing place for kids. The pool kept our 5 year old son busy for hours, as did the trampoline. Our son also loved riding the donkey when we did a small hike with the other guests that was organised by the hosts. Ali can organise bread and fresh croissants every morning if you like. For us that was great as we did not have leave the place. Actually we only once to a super market in 7 days. The car stayed still. We decelerated instead.

Great stay in a green setting, a children's paradise who can wander from the accommodation to the children's cabin, a perfect place for them . Contact with animals is essential for children and awakens them, walking barefoot under the trees is the best! The only hitch the mosquitoes even with the preventive sprays on the body they feast on 🙃

Perfect for finding nature and being a little out of town. The view of the Pyrénées is beautiful. You could see the snow. Yourte was very comfortable. When there's a bit of rain, it's a little noisy. Which may disturb some people to sleep. But all good.

Excellent stay at Magali's. We were with family, with 2 young children. Pleasant yurt at the end of summer, not too hot during the day or too cool in the early morning Comfortable furniture. Very welcoming host and very good cook. The pets are adorable. We totally recommend it!

During our trip to the heart of Sost, we stopped at the Portillon des Fées, where we spent a night. The instructions for finding the area were very efficient and clear!! Indeed, the estate is well hidden, which makes the experience even more unique!! Between mountain and forest, the estate offers a panoramic and sublime view!! We were treated to a very warm and friendly welcome from Emma and Simon, who showed us around the estate and the facilities on site. The night was peaceful and calm. Upon waking, we were treated to a breakfast prepared by Emma, coffee, tea, toast, jam, honey, but especially cheese from a local producer, a delight!!! An excellent stay in a natural setting and exceptional hosts, what more could you ask for? Melissa and Guillaume

Very nice hostel, welcoming and very well located at the foot of the Cirque de Troumousse. I recommend it.

Very nice place to stay with our family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 8. The communication on arrival went well and the place is as described, the beds are nice and quiet, you wake up wonderfully by the morning sun and you look away nicely. If you want hot water, you have to wait a short 10 minutes before it gets there. During the day you can use the swimming pool and to the beach it depends on where you want to drive between 15 and 25 minutes. Highly recommended and we had a nice stay there.

Johnny and Lydia are very nice and inspiring. The place is like timeless and very relaxing, even refreshing. Ideal for our romantic weekend, we are delighted to have taken the option of massages that are exceptional... to do absolutely! We recommend it without hesitation. 😊

The yurt is beautiful, so is the hospitality. Despite the cold temperatures and humidity, the fact that the toilet and sanitary facilities (there is no water in the yurt) outside did not bother us. The hosts are extremely responsive and admirably managed, the service (meal, breakfast) is perfect. Thank you
