Castle holiday rentals in Pyrenees

Our experience at Château de Bouvées was amazing. The place is pure history, very well kept, decorated and recovered by the host, Yves. He, his family and friends were very pleasant with us (the donkeys too, hahah). The castle's location is great, it allows beautiful bike rides in the vicinity, but to go to the market and shop, a car becomes interesting. The kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever seen, where we were able to prepare our meals and have the host's great breakfast. I recommend it to everyone who can live a few days at Château de Bouvées.

A beautiful place in a very nice area. We only stayed there for 2 days, when it would take at least 15 to enjoy. The place is full of history, Joaquin's brother-in-law will be happy to tell you about it.

Our stay at Chateau Mont Joly was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Claudia and Jag, English expats who have perfected their luxurious B&B over 16 years. Our accommodation was a true sanctuary—a beautifully appointed room featuring a splendid four-poster bed and an elegant en-suite bathroom. Each morning, we indulged in a sumptuous breakfast on the patio, with stunning views of the majestic Pyrenees mountains. Claudia’s breakfast spread was a delightful celebration of local produce. The experience was enhanced by a soothing in-house massage and expertly arranged dinner reservations and winery tours. Every detail, from lounging by the pool to exploring nearby villages, exuded luxury and tranquility. Claudia and Jag are exceptional hosts, curating an unforgettable experience filled with warmth and personalised recommendations. We left with our hearts full and a longing to return to this hidden gem. Thank you for a truly extraordinary time!

Very good week in a small village of character in the middle of the mountain. Typical functional house for 8. Very friendly and accommodating host. I would recommend this place to have a lovely vacation!

An absolutely fantastic, fantastic place full of magic. Our apartment in the tower was incredible, beautifully decorated with all the amenities of the present and yet you could imagine the past of this wonderful castle in the rooms. Marlin Charlott's welcome was warm, friendly, we felt at home from the first second. The service was excellent, no matter what concern we addressed to Marlin Charlott. A highlight was also the EM final viewing organized by Marlin Charlott for all guests in the old castle barn including anapéritif. And finally, not to forget the unique atmosphere in the castle restaurant with super tasty food. We will definitely visit again!

Very pleasant stay in the Château de Villelongue d 'aude. Thank you François for your welcome and hospitality. The room "Le Nid" was perfect, good bedding, nice shower, sauna available. We were 4 and the room was large enough to accommodate us in good conditions. We met Sylvie, a regular with places with whom we shared a meal, a good evening and our phone numbers. François took time to concoct us a great meal with local products and ate with us. Breakfast was hearty and François' scrambled eggs, a delight… We will most certainly come back because we did not have the pleasure of meeting his partner.

Beautiful experience. The cottage is very nice and comfortable; perfectly equipped. The views are very beautiful. Sebastian is very nice. I would come back without hesitation. A beautiful estate recommended.

A beautiful castle with stunning views and idyllic gardens. Dominica and Phillipe were wonderful, friendly hosts. The breakfast was amazing with home made jams and the amazing views ! We visited Carcasonne and cycle along the Canal de Midi. Puicheric is small and quiet so we mostly chose to eat the lovely meals prepared by Dominica in the castle. It was a stunning location and a lovely experience that we always remember! Highly recommended!

The best house I've ever been. Clean, impressive , ideal for large groups , large spaces, very well equipped, stately decor, the stone and wonderful wood staircase. The owner Pascal is very friendly and easy. The touch of Beinvenida is much appreciated. The area and location are great for nature walks and enjoy the peace of mind. The cornbread and croassants of the village's pastry shop, beysay.

We felt right at home and warmly welcome at Marianne’s place. We, and the kids had the best time in the beautiful garden - breakfast and Dinners with this spectacular view will stay in our memories forever. Marianne took great care for little details - a bottle of Wine was a great welcome gift after a long travel day. She was always responsive for any questions we had. We can totally recommend this place, the beautiful indoor and outdoor space are exactly like on the pictures- even better! We would love to come back one day!😊 Thank you Marianne for making our holiday so special!

Everything was great we had a wonderful time

Marie was adaptable to our changed time of arrival and met us on the doorstep as soon as we arrived. Very keen to show us around and show all the facilities like the gas bbq and pool access. Warned us about thunderstorms tripping the electrics and how to reset the trip. Useful as this happened 3 nights in. Nothing was too much trouble and her son was there at checkout. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Spacious, atmospheric property in lovely, friendly village. It sits high up in the village but it is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the village store. The shop has a really friendly owner who organised us a wonderful wine tasting with charcuterie and cheese. He sells a wide variety of products and has a really good wine cellar of local wines. He also does takeaway pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The local hotel has a restaurant and supplied us with a takeaway cassoulet. The chateau is well equipped and spacious. Only one room has a shower but all the rest have a roll top bath with shower fitting. The village itself is well situated to explore a number of vineyards and nearby towns and the roads were very quiet.

We had a great time in this beautiful and spacious home kindly welcomed by our host. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful park. We will definitely recommend to our friends and acquaintances because in addition the area offers beautiful walks.

We have just returned home after a fantastic 7 night stay at Chateau Du Marquisat in Olonzac. The house was perfect - huge bedrooms and living areas, two bathrooms on each floor, lovely showers/baths. We had wonderful weather and the outside space is brilliant - lovely pool area, outside kitchen we used every day and makes eating outside so easy. Clean and tidy, accessible to nearby towns and villages. The market in Olonzac on a Tuesday morning is a must! Narbonne and Carcassonne also definitely worth a visit. Frederique's recommendations for restaurants and things to do were all genuine and thoughtful - we didn't do too much as we were enjoying the house and pool too much we didn't want to leave. The hosts live nearby so any issues (we didn't have any issues) that may arise can be dealt with quickly but they don't intrude at all - in fact, we didn't see them at all during our stay, a part from check in and check out. We would highly recommend Chateau Du Marquisat!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at this lovely little castle. Everything was very clean, spacious and friendly with a beautiful touch of modernity. The pool, lit at night, is a real plus. Asunción and Salvador were always available and friendly.

We loved our stay with Gloria and Sebas, and would highly recommend. We booked it as it seemed like something the kids would remember for our first european vacation, and it is definitely something they will remember! We got to experience the clock tower, the beautiful grounds that had a lot of history, and a fun huge apartment with a lot of character! It felt like staying in a castle and the kids will absolutely remember it forever.

1. Carolina and her friend are perfect hosts. 2. It is an old castle. 1000 ~ 1300 years. It wasn't the castle I was thinking about (in the movie), but it's a different experience. 3. It's about a 15-20 minute drive from Girona. I chose this place to visit Girona. It's perfect. 4. I recommend staying at least 2 nights and relaxing in the house for one day.(Barbecue, swimming pool, etc.). We only stayed one night, so this part was a pity. 5. There is a very large grocery store in the middle of the road from Girona to the house. We recommend shopping here before going to the house.

I went with my friends and loved the stay

We stayed two nights in the fantastic place. The reception was very welcoming. We were guided directly through the whole property. It is a little off the beaten path in breathtaking nature. There is an extra building with a beautiful kitchen, a big pool and lots of recreational opportunities. Absolutely quiet secluded location, it is highly recommended. Alexander

Charming residence whatever the interiors are little dated but with a garden and a breathtaking view. I rented the property for a birthday with about thirty guests and was fully satisfied with the rental and we were able to feast and enjoy the outdoor spaces without being disturbed. I recommend the property if one has a taste for the old and the vintage. Host was welcoming and available.
