The property has a sandy beach, a wood-fired sauna, a lean-to, a patio by the beach, a well-equipped kitchen, a Weber gas grill, 2 toilets, a shower, an air heat pump, 2 SUP boards, a rowing boat, a trampoline, children's books and games. Close to the disc golf course. Here you will experience magnificent sunsets and may spot the Saimaa duck. A perfect destination for those who appreciate nature, peace and comfort, suitable for families with children.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Beach sauna on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Looking for the perfect escape from everyday life? A small lakeside sauna awaits on the shore of Lake Saimaa, where there is space for two and there is a small pot mat. The cottage has a small kitchen for spinning calories. The traditional wood sauna gets the best steam, and the carrying water comes straight from Lake Saimaa. You can fish from your own beach and in the evening you can roast sprats over a bonfire. For an additional fee, you can rent kayaks, fishing gear and huskies. All this only 12 km from the city!

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
