Farmstay holiday rentals in Putnam County

Head and shoulders above the rest! Much better than the typical Airbnb with five star ratings. This is a true five star rural destination stay, not a stopover getting a courtesy five-star rating. No comparison with the typical highly rated Airbnb - this place is special. The cabins are well made with rustic feel - not old & worn with glossed over touches. Dan & Joann have done wonders with funky & country decor touches inside & out. And the farm is spectacular - mowed shorter grass walking paths, nearby stream, much wildlife. I had a fabulous time with picking & singing tunes each evening with Dan & friends! And I'm no pro, but the whole experience was comfortable, warm & inviting. I have new friends in Dan & Joann - maybe even new family! I'll be back!

The house was very cozy and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Quick drive to downtown Cookeville. We wish we could have stayed longer. Anna was a great host.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

Very secluded, but I felt very safe being on the back side of their property. Dan and his wife both showed me out to the cabin which was situated right in the middle of the most beautiful area of wilderness! I was making a last minute stop, driving with my dog from Houston up to New York and I didn't want my dog to have to deal with a hotel room. This was the perfect solution. Quiet and comfy. It is very dark, so if you plan on arriving after sundown be sure to bring a flashlight! They do have some string lights but I had to use to my phone to navigate the bathroom. Great find!

Absolutely beautiful spot to get away. Very quite and serene. Lovely view and lovely deck! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This is our second trip here and for good reason. There’s something special about this simple cozy cottage. It’s so clean has a modern rustic touch, and is peaceful to boot. The animals out back provide the perfect ambiance to this quiet tucked away cottage. Wed give this place 10 stars if we could - such a special place. Hope to come back again.

If you love animals this is a place you will love, we did! Jose and Tiffany were very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions or needed help. We will be back!

My wife and I were looking for a short getaway for our 12 year anniversary. We were looking at another smaller property they had but it ended up getting booked before we made our decision. The host helped me with other options that were available and was very helpful in answering my questions making sure we would have a spot to park our boat. The house was immaculate and had a beautiful view, "dream home" if you will. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning when we have more time and can bring the fam bc this house has plenty of room. There is plenty of room in the driveway to turn around and park a boat, there's a private ramp at the end of the road but we ended up going to a public one, about 5 minute drive, for more parking options. The only recommendation I have is maybe adding some small rope or string lights for the hot tub area. Great trip & house, look forward to returning!

Pictures dont do this listing justice! The entire property is beautiful, serene & SO PEACEFUL! We spent so much time out on one of the many balconies enjoying nature, watching the sunset & watching the boats out on the lake. The amenities are exactly as listed, and I can't say enough about the cleanliness. The hosts were VERY responsive & quick to answer any questions we had. This was the PERFECT anniversary trip & I highly recommend it to anyone looking!

Nathan was a super accommodating host. Our family stayed in this rental for almost 4 weeks due to a house flood. It was a perfect home away from home for us while our home was repaired.

Great little room with great hosts. Local to three state parks and a nice quaint little town with a variety of food options. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a private entrance. This is one of my favorite stays so far, and I can't wait to visit back.

The house itself was cozy, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — we instantly felt at home. Waking up to the serene surroundings and lovely views was such a treat. The quiet atmosphere made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, yet it had all the comforts we needed.
