Beach house holiday rentals in Punta Uva

Villa Blossom is first and foremost an amazing value, and second off all beautiful, peaceful, welcoming, and easy! The grounds hosted an insane amount of gorgeously curated plants, trees and flowers! The pool, yoga pavilion, and all common areas were perfect! The staff and hosts were super helpful and attentive if you needed anything or extra services (get a massage! it was amazing). There is a super market attached, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfy! Just in case your like us and didn’t realize, this is basically two hotel rooms next to each other with a shared outdoor space, and kitchen, there is no living room/couch! We didn’t find this to be an issue (and we had and 8year old) but it would be nice to have a hammock or something. Say hi to the local kitty if you go, and keep an eye out for frogs, Aguitas, SO MANY hummingbirds and other wild life!

First time in Costa Rica, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was attentive, and the beach house was more than expected. The private beach was less than 2min away, and breathtaking. The included breakfast was disappointing at first: fruits, bread, butter and jelly, but it was filling. I loved the guava jelly, and my boyfriend enjoyed the fruit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for privacy, tranquility, and nature. Best place to stay on the Caribbean coast.

This home is a gem in disguise. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. We came here for a week. It was a long drive from the San Jose international airport but well worth it. Very sweet local town. The people in the town are really nice. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Ice cream is delicious. We had a wonderful vacation, celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday. We loved having the pool to relax at during the heat of the day. Great kitchen to make breakfast everyday. Grocery store is not far at all. The dog and 2 cats are so cute and sweet. Definitely a great place to stay. The location is quite nice. Great host. Very friendly and responsive. There are many many places within walking distance. The beach. super market, restaurants, etc. The place itself is well maintained and clean, the only thing I'd warn you to consider is that the bathroom has an open barred window which allows bugs to get in. Given the warmer climate, it can be a bit tricky to keep out mosquitos. Considering the location and all the surrounding things to explore, if that is something you can work with, then this place is good place for you to consider. It was just what my brother, cousin and I were looking for.

Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing short of an amazing stay here in Casa Cocles! Daniel was checking on us through the trip to make sure we knew of the local spots and must-visit areas. He also greeted us with some fresh cut fruit to munch which was very refreshing! The location is at a really convenient spot that allowed for worry-less travel between different activities. We ended up visiting the animal rescuer center, countless Puerto Viejo restaurants, Cahuita National Park, BriBri tribe territory, lots of beaches , etc and these all felt very accesible and easy to get to with or without a rental car. Some tours even offer to pick us up exactly at Casa Cocles for free! We were super grateful and happy with our stay, and will definitely be coming back here for future getaways!

Pedro and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They were super friendly and replied promptly. They even helped us carry in our groceries which was above and beyond!! The house was beautiful and well maintained. Great experience!!

Das Haus liegt etwas zurückgesetzt von der Straße und ist deshalb ruhig. Der Strand Cocles ist nur 1 km ca entfernt. Die Duschen waren perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Meine Familie und ich waren am Strand, der in einen Teilstück bewacht ist. Obwohl das Meer stürmisch war, hatten wir einen tollen Tag. Die Restauranttipps von Catalina waren zahlreich, wir haben uns für ein Caribeno entschieden und haben lecker gegessen. Wenn auch nur kurz, war es ein toller Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Catalina. Vielen Dank!

our stay was beautiful ! we stayed for 4 nights but wished we stayed longer. the location was amazing, a 30 second walk from the gate to the beach. and restaurants & grocery were walking distance as well. lots of amenities and large private land

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent place to stay in Playa Chiiquita. Quick, easy walk to the beach access, on a small dead end road, super clean, wonderfully comfortable, nice refreshing pool, beautiful garden, and very responsive host. Highly recommend except for perhaps by doing so it might be hard to get a reservation next time ;)

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

Had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and everything we needed was provided. The only small challenge was finding the place at night—it’s a bit tricky in the dark. Other than that, everything was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Cuando vamos a Limón siempre pensamos en las casas de George súper recomendadas, es la tercera casa que conocemos de George y son hermosas tienen todo lo que se necesita para pasar unos días de descanso espectaculares la comunicación es súper rápida, la verdad es el lugar preferido para ir cuando viajamos a esa zona!!!

I want to share our experience for our 9 day stay. Coming into Limon there was an accident I had emailed our estimated time of arrival to our host But traffic was backed up, we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours. our host was super communicative and as we got closer he met us at the property about 5 hours late so glad for his help getibg us aclimated to the aurroundings. one day we had no gas to cook and I contacted the host and he had us fuel in 15 minutes. we saw monkeys and a sloth right outside of the back porch. very comfortable property but remember you are in a jungle setting. your doing to see bugs and mosquitoes. Well stocked kitchen utensils, good wifi, great ac, comfortable beds and we felt safe there. We would stay there again. thans for hosting the three of us.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The gardens and lagoon pool were so relaxing. Jayr was a great host and responded to all our questions and needs! Thank you for a lovely stay would love to come back!

We loved the house and the garden. Staying in the middle of the jungle is magical. If you are looking for a silent place, this isn’t the one cause the monkeys, roosters, dogs and birds will wake you up very early but if you are looking for a jungle experience this is it! The house is super clean and beautiful, full of butterflies and beautiful animals that come to visit .

Beautiful place. Perfect for me & two kids in 20s. Very connected to the surrounding nature, sounds of howler monkeys and birds . Clean and refreshing pool with waterfall. As beautiful as pix. Short walk (5-10 minutes) into town, beach and national park . The 2 smaller bedrooms could hear nearby partying late into the night ( but I didn’t) . Could have used more prior advice about pros and cons of getting there ( rental car, Caribe shuttle or plane to Limón ) but Kirsten was very responsive once we were there . Had a blissful time!

Es una casa acogedora, limpia ordenada, es a como lo muestran en las fotos, espacio grande, privacidad, alejado del ruido, ubicación estratégica para el descanso pero cerca de los centros de entretenimiento en Puerto Viejo y el anfitrión excelente, perfecta comunicación y muy atento a nuestra satisfacción.

Todo estába impecable cuando llegué. Zinni fue super amable de principio a fin y flexible con el horario de llegada y salida. Nos encantó porque estábamos rodeadas de naturaleza, se escuchaban los animales y pudimos ver unos carpinchos pequeños por el jardin. Tenía todo lo necesario para cocinar y pasarla super!! Lo super recomiendo!

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. We had a wonderful stay and felt completely at home. Juan Carlos was a fantastic host—always available, helpful, and full of great tips for the area. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Chris's place is very comfortable, and conveniently located to the beach and Cahuita downtown. There's a grocery store not far (maybe 15 min driving), and the kitchen is equipped for cooking meals. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor showers are amazing. The yard welcomes all sorts of wildlife as well - birds, agouti, and even a sloth presented itself! I would stay here again.

Sin dudarlo, recomiendo a Mathilde y su casa. Pasamos 5 días hermosos en una casa super limpia, ordenada y completamente equipada. Ubicación privilegiada, pues se puede llegar facilmente, inclusive a pie, a cualquier sitio de interés: playa, supermercado, restaurantes, etc. La piscina es un plus magnífico, ya que eso también nos permitió relajarnos sin tener que salir de casa. Los jardines bien cuidados crean un ambiente natural donde se pueden ver animalitos del bosque. Los muebles hermosos, cómodos y prácticos, elegidos con gran gusto. Y lo mejor, la calidad humana: Mathilde y su hermoso siempre atentos a aconsejarnos y a resolver cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos. ¡Muchas gracias!
