Holiday rentals in Punta Manzanillo

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

We just spent a wonderful 9 days here. The pictures do not do it justice. it is a beautiful place. The yard is gorgeous. We loved the tree house. Saw lots of animals right there, toucans, hummingbirds, howler monkeys, even a sloth. Browi was super helpful and attentive. He even accommodated us by changing one of the beds to a king size bed! He gave us lots of suggestions for places to eat, shop and see. None of his suggestions steered us wrong. Thanks for everything!

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

It was a memorable, enjoyable month-long stay at Caribbean Sweet, Manzanillo. So close to a walkable, beautiful beach stretching for several Kilometers. Incredible Gandoca jungle for a backyard, full of entertaining wildlives including countless humming birds attracted by Jeremy's beautiful garden filled with flowers and fruits. Jeremy's place mostly quiet and peaceful during weekdays but can get noisy during weekend partiers from the city or some noisy airbnb neighbors. I always felt safe, important as a female solo traveler. Jeremy and Sherman were always helpful and available to fulfill or answer any questions or requests on a timely basis. Due to isolated location it is quite normal to lose power and wifi once in a while, but restored quickly. Water supply can also be affected sometimes but by morning usually restored. Neighborhood stores are quite handy and close. Definitely recommend for a longterm stay in this incredible place!!

This property is stunning, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The main living area does not have air and even with the door walls closed there are openings in some of the walls. We were still very comfortable even in high 80 degree weather. The bugs were not bad at all. Of course there were some because you’re in the jungle but not a big issue. All bathrooms are open air so keep that in mind. The check in process was smooth and easy. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to prepare large meals. There are no televisions. There is a chrome cast projector in the main living area. We had a bit of trouble using it but the house manage came by and got it working for us. Just for ease of use they should consider an actual television. The location was perfect. Anything you want to do in town is a 5-10 min ride. Giuly was excellent helping us plan my 50th birthday celebration and manage the many travel issues we had. We had an amazing trip and I would definitely book again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Omar's. It was exactly as described. Omar takes a lot of pride in his place and it was always spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal and I enjoyed sitting in the common area. Omar made me feel very welcome. My room on the ground floor was nice with a comfy bed and hot shower. However I could hear every footstep from the room upstairs but I expected this, but everyone was quiet after 10pm. I was there over Easter weekend so there always seemed to be Caribbean music coming from somewhere which was nice as it added to the vibe - except for the guest who decided to put their boombox on full volume with ultra boring music for a few hours - really, in a tiny establishment - but to their credit they did turn it off at 10pm. I am happy I stayed in this lovely village and Omar helped to make it memorable. As a single woman I felt very safe.

El Oasis is everything that you see on the photographs and so much more! Pure joy walking to the bottom of the garden and arriving at the beach.. Words cannot describe hearing the Howler monkeys, watching the spider monkeys play and cheeky glimpses of Capuchin monkeys. Sadly the sloths remained elusive, but did get to see them at the Jaguar Rescue Centre. Definitely a place to relax and enjoy nature at it's best.

Nos gustó muchísimo el lugar, es justo como se describe, es muy tranquilo, todo muy limpio y ordenado, la cocina tiene todo lo necesario y más, muy bien equipado. La piscina fue nuestra parte favorita, nunca muy fría pero tampoco caliente, está en la temperatura justa para ese calorcito de Manzanillo, además tiene buen tamaño. Me quedé sin palabras de lo amigable y amable que fue el staff, las chicas nos atendieron increíble, nos dieron recomendaciones, charlaban con nosotros, siempre ofreciendo ayuda de la mejor manera. Todos fueron muy atentos desde los mensajes hasta en persona, felicidades Pangea Lodge, lo hacen muy bien, es de esos lugares en los que uno se siente como en casa. Definitivamente volveríamos a visitar este lugar. Infinitas gracias por la atención! :)
