Apartment holiday rentals in Puidoux

The “basement” apartment was nice and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. The washer/dryer was very convenient for my family. We are a family with three children. The apartment accommodated us perfectly. The location of the apartment was a little hard for us as it was higher up than we would have liked. Also, since my wife is pregnant, the stairs to get to the apartment were inconvenient but she managed. Overall, I would recommend the place to anyone who is looking to stay couple of days in Chardonne!

Tibor and Carole were excellent hosts, and they were very communicative, especially if there was anything needed or requested. The space itself was impeccably clean and tidy, with lots of little additions that made it really comfortable and homely. Positioning is great for anyone who wants to tour wineries or the countryside, and it’s easy to get into Lausanne by public transport (though the walk back is a bit uphill so be prepared if it’s chilly!) The free parking is useful, but if you want parking that isn’t on a timed basis (a parking permit is kindly supplied!), you need to go up a very steep hill, so not ideal if that’s hard for you (if you have kids etc) These are the only things that aren’t 100% positive about my stay, but they were perfectly bearable and Tibor and Carole were so helpful in solving any issues. 10 out of 10 - don’t hesitate to book if you want to spend time in a beautiful village with beautiful views!

The Beatles apartment was exactly as pictured, with so many fun details throughout. Not only was it beautiful, but also everything we could have needed was inside. We were treated to the sound of the river out our window and amazing views all around. Nick was very responsive through both our planning and our entire stay, always helpful and friendly. We would absolutely recommend this property and its host to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Nick, for an amazing stay!

I’ve largely had good experiences on AirBB but never have I had a better host than Antoine. As to the property, the pictures don’t do justice. It’s stunning. The town below has plenty of amenities.

This accommodation is atypical, as described in the listing (consisting of two areas separated by a few steps outside). The only small downside, in our opinion, is the brightness in the morning despite blackout curtains (not blinds). But at least, once we wake up, we can enjoy this breathtaking view of the lake and mountains, even when it rains :-(. The accommodation is very well equipped and decorated with high-end equipment and materials. If we returned to the area, we would not hesitate to choose this accommodation again, hoping to have better weather to enjoy the terrace. Thank you Silke.

Very nice spacious apartment with views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. High-quality furnishings, beautiful terrace. You can hear a brook murmuring and the birds chirping. It is about 15 minutes by car to Vevey, down the steep mountain. Hosts are very friendly. There is a lot to see in the area, you could easily spend a week there. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer.

Philippe welcomed us in a very friendly way. Very clean, well-equipped apartment, magnificent view from the balcony. The cable car next to the studio is easy to access to climb the ridge offering a magnificent panorama with many hikes. Very nice service. Thank you to Philippe for his sympathy.

We stayed a month and felt right at home. The view is fantastic; bring your binoculars. Apartment is bright and spacious. There was never a wait for the elevator. Washer/dryer was easy to use. Kitchen had almost everything we needed (except a microwave). We used the AC one night, and it kept things cool (nice to know if you stay in warmer months). Lutry is a charming town with friendly store owners. The host will show you a “secret door” in the garage that makes it easy to get to the street below, where you can catch a bus to Lausanne or walk into town. In addition to Old Town Lutry, we also enjoyed walks in the other direction along the waterfront to Pully. We found the parking space easy to use. You’ll have a great stay here - we did and were sad to leave.

What an incredible retreat! This Airbnb stands out as my favorite for a reason. The stunning location offered an unparalleled view, a true 10/10 that provided the most serene backdrop for my much-needed downtime. It was genuinely the perfect place to completely recharge. The Airbnb itself had everything I could possibly need, whether for a short getaway or a longer stay. Rudolf was a flawless host, full of invaluable local insights that made exploration even better. I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous hiking trails accessible right from the property and the lovely stroll into town. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Renata is honestly the most wonderful host we have had on Airbnb. Incredible communication and fantastic tips. The accommodation itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated with a lot of little attentions. Surroundings are incredible too. Little gem with wonderful hosts, a short ride away from Geneva, and in the lovely town of Nyon. A must ! We will be back for sure.

Beautiful apartment in a quaint little neighborhood. Close to the funicular to get up and down the mountain. Great location to the vineyards. It was a tad tricky to find it when we arrived. Got off at the wrong bus stop and then ubered because it was difficult to walk up the main road (no sidewalk at one point). I pictured it being a little closer to the train station, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because it was so lovely.

Cozy apartment with a great terrace and wonderful view of Lake Geneva. Perfect for a quick getaway. Also super located to reach various excursion destinations in a short time. In addition, the contact with Karen was very pleasant.

The host was very friendly and I felt good because he welcomed me. The house was clean and the perfect place for a family to stay. The village surrounded by medieval castles was cozy and pleasant, so I took a walk every day. I want to use this accommodation the next time I travel to Switzerland!
