Cottage holiday rentals in Puget Sound

Good cozy place. Very convenient for our shrimping week with the dock and location. Our buddies booked their other place right below and we had a great time.

Eric was a great host and made sure our check in process was smooth. He was frequently available and responded quickly. Eric's place is in a great location with beautiful views. The place was cleaned well and stocked with everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed their place and Washington.

We loved our stay at this lovely cabin! It was the perfect combination of secluded but centrally located to fun locations like the Olympic Peninsula and Bainbridge Island. The amenities were also great -- we appreciated the firepit and the hot tub, and we spent a lot of time reading and drinking coffee on the front porch. The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend this sweet cottage!

My wife and I had the most amazing time. Lisa is the definition of a true host. The house was spot clean, it had all the supplies we needed, from great quality shampoo and conditioner, to toothpaste and toothbrush sets. The kitchen is fully equipped and supplied with everything you could ask for, from spices, seasonings, brown sugar, coffee, teas, cream, and all the tools needed. The s’more’s and popcorn are just a cherry on the top! The laundry room as well was fully equipped! All the details were so thoughtful and caring for our stay. Clean blankets, clean towels. Candles and mist sprays provided on bathrooms and bedrooms. The whole house smells so cozy and inviting like a true 5 stars resort. The farmhouse decor is tasteful and sophisticated, it makes you feel you’re truly on a getaway vacation. The river view takes you to a whole new level of experience, from relaxing morning coffee to the most enjoyable view while enjoying the jacuzzi. The local farmers market was amazing.

This place is a gem in so many ways! We love the coziness of the cabin, the tucked away in the forest, but yet feet away from ocean front. The view from the hot tub is great. The cabin is so neat with the little library, art room, and extra sleeping nooks. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds and linens were wonderful. We enjoyed the board games and books one rainy morning. The kids enjoyed seeing starfish and a sea otter around the dock. Crabbing off the dock was a nice bonus. The wildlife all around the cabin was a treat - deer & fawn and so many different birds visiting the bird feeders. We will be back for longer next time!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and very cozy and comfortable house and furnishings. Really nice to have a hot tub right there with a view! Great for a big family or small group. Kitchen was very well supplied. Lots to do right around the property. Hosts had everything very organized and easy to follow. Would 100% stay again!

We were visiting Whidbey for a wedding at Fireseed Catering. This was a convenient and comfortable landing spot for us. Jim was so nice and welcoming. And the property is beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Jessica’s place was truly fantastic! Such a peaceful, quiet getaway, overlooking the inlet, surrounded by forest. The cottage was super neat and clean, with a comfy bed, and provided everything we could need. We were surprised by a lovely gift basket of wine and goodies too. It was so relaxing having a hot tub as well. What an added bonus! Upon arrival, we were greeted by two adorable and friendly kitties, who came up to us for pets and love every time we went outside!! They were precious! We had a wonderful 40th wedding anniversary… and will certainly be back. Thank you Jessica!

We enjoyed our time immensely in the peaceful surroundings. Wish we had more time to stay longer. Wonderful place and excellent to detach and relax. Thank you for the great instructions and housing us for our friend's wedding. I would just go back to stay at your place and not leave for the entire stay!

We love staying at this cottage. It’s a wonderful location, a quiet peaceful neighborhood, and a nice area to walk. A great view of the water. It’s also a short easy drive to town. Thomas is a great host and very available providing all the comforts of home. Looking forward to a return visit :-)

Home is full of personality and history. Susan had lots of personal touches like sharing their hen's eggs and freshly cut flowers in a vase. The house is creative with art and memorabilia...and they've managed to keep everything clean, comfortable and welcoming. I really like the living space furniture. They have everything you may need and more. Beds are comfortable but may be a little smaller than listed Queens. Close to town and Freeland Hall if you are attending an event like we did. Love the enclosed front deck where you can sit with your dog and not worry. Big enclosed yard, too, for dog to run around and take bathroom break. Short walk and staircase to a beach walk. Yard is spacious with great parking.

CarolLynn’s property was absolutely gorgeous. I woke up one morning and opened my eyes to see a bunny right outside the window. Walking outside and having birds singing and farm life was the best. She was very kind and came and greeted us and left us fresh eggs in the fridge. Would love to visit again.

The location was perfect for a mellow weekend with our pets. We all loved being able to see the wild life just steps away from the porch and the lake view from multiple areas of the house. Would be happy to visit again!

Sarah’s place was great for the weekend. She was very detailed upon check in. The space is awesome with being right on the river. The upper bedroom can get pretty bright with the morning sun so I would suggest bringing an eye mask if you have one.

We had a very comfortable stay. Pros: The checkin instructions were very clear and we did not have any difficulty finding the location. The house was better than it looked in the pictures. The approach road is a bit cramped but we had enough parking space for our vehicle and the neighborhood felt safe . The kitchen was well stocked. Cons: 1. Some smaller windows did not have blinds. Since we are used to sleeping in a dark bedroom, we had a bit of difficulty falling asleep. 2. There wasn't any private space to dress up. This was not a big issue for us since we didn't need it. The stay exceeded our expectations and we had a great time.

We loved our stay at Elizabeth’s cottage. The location was perfect—so quiet, walking distance to the beach, yet so close to town. It felt like staying with a friend who really cared that we enjoyed ourselves , were comfortable, and that we experienced the best things about the island. All of her recommendations were spot on. The coffee and breakfast items were so appreciated! We hope to come back!

The cottage was great in a nice peaceful little beach community. I would 100% stay here again. The cottage was cute and the view of the Saratoga Passage was amazing. The mornings were great sitting out on the covered porch/patio drinking coffee and just listening and watching all of the different types of birds that were around the cottage.

We had a great time at the Waterfall Cottage! We stayed the night after a nearby concert. The cottage was comfortable, quiet, and clean. My only regret was not having more time to enjoy the space. I look forward to a return here in the near future. Pete and Mary Kay were quick, responsive, and kind in all their communications and made check in/check out a breeze. Can’t recommend enough if you need a place to stay in the area.

Our stay at this cabin was pure heaven! Even though there are a few other cabins on the property, our stay felt very private and quiet. The property is gorgeous and nestled in the trees. All you hear is the sound of the birds. The cabin is immaculate and gorgeous. Everything is well thought out and Leah is gifted at stocking the cabin thoughtfully. The fishing was unbelievable if that is your thing. Highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it!

I wish we had had more time in Lake Tapps and our stay there. You couldn’t ask for a better lakeside view and sunsets! The space was a good size for two adults and was in great condition. Very clean. Complimentary snacks and available use of kayaks, SUPs, fire pit, etc. were a nice touch, even if we didn’t get the chance to utilize all of them! Suzy was super nice and super responsive. If we find ourselves in or around Seattle again, I hope we can go back!

Ann’s cottage was so lovely! We absolutely fell in love with port Townsend during our stay for the first few days of our honeymoon. The puppies that Ann currently has were such a fun touch too! We loved every moment of our time in Port Townsend and will definitely be back.
