The house is beautiful, in the center of Maratea Vieja. A construction from the end of the 1700s with a fantastic indoor patio. Everything was working and communicating with the host was quick and easy. For large groups of people, it's a great place to go. Highly recommended!

It was as wonderful as when we visited the villa for the first time back in 2015. We had great holidays.

Excellent experience in the outbuilding of the main villa, with ample outdoor space both covered ( equipped for lunch and with a living room reulax) and discovered from where you have a splendid view of the gulf. The house is well furnished and well kept, great for those looking for tranquility being located on the hill from where you can still reach the sea in 5/10 minutes (Scario) and in an additional 10/15 minutes, the various towns of Capitello di Ispani, Policastro, Sapri, ect. also convenient to reach Palinuro and Marina di Camerota as it takes about 30 min to pass through the hilly streets avoiding the traffic of the main roads. The house is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended location!!!

An evocative and particular location: a Saracen tower in a manicured park and in front of the sea with a view that is worth the stay! Everything is extremely comfortable and functional, with the proper awareness that it is not staying in a 5-star hotel but in a wonderful Saracen tower within a park with squirrels that run through the trees. Fabulous outdoor kitchen with bathroom and double shower. Extraordinary experience.

We spent a week in August at Villa Florio in Maratea and were extremely satisfied. The house is very nice, well divided and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The outdoor spaces are immersed in a well-kept green area, with a beautiful holm oak in the south. Here, you can enjoy breakfast from the sea or relax in the sun in total privacy, all accompanied by an enchanting view of the Gulf of Policastro and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Villa Florio not only for the beauty and uniqueness of the place, but also for the kindness and hospitality of Maria Teresa and her partner, who made our stay even more special. Maratea and Basilicata are lovely places, and this villa is the perfect starting point to discover them.

An ideal place to enjoy a wonderful vacation should always begin with a friendly, accommodating, helpful host who greets you and immediately makes you feel welcomed and at home. Gianfranco is that kind of host. We were greeted by him and his lovely daughter and we knew at once that we were going to have a great vacation at “La Caprignola.” We were not disappointed. The house was immaculately clean, is very spacious, charmingly decorated and has every amenity you could want to make your stay comfortable and hassle free. No detail has been overlooked. The outdoor space, the garden and patio, is also very spacious with areas in which you can relax day and night and loads of space that our pet dog spent happy hours exploring. The house is totally private, surrounded by olive trees and abundant plantings. A perfect place to relax and though located in the countryside it is only a few minutes drive from the lively, historic and lovely town of Buccino where you will find anything you might need (markets, restaurants, bars, etc.). It is also ideally located for exploring the vast and beautiful Cilento with its breathtaking vistas; Basilicata; Salerno; Paestum; and any number of historic towns. Beautiful house, in a beautiful panoramic position. We stayed in four couples of friends: very comfortable accommodation, spacious rooms, kitchen equipped with everything you need, priceless garden and veranda. Maria Grazia and her grandchildren were precise and facilitators in welcoming them, both for the arrival time and for the useful directions to find the house. Cilento and Maria Grazia's house were a pleasant discovery, and they gave us an unforgettable week of vacation...despite being the hottest week of the year!

The house is perfectly matched to what's described on the listing. We stayed in 9 and it was very comfortable. Despite the high outdoor temperatures, the temperature of the house is pleasant without the need to resort to air conditioners or fans. Nothing to complain about at the level of cleanliness, both the common spaces and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The location allows you to walk to a free beach and establishments. Host Vincenzo made himself very helpful from the beginning. Upon our arrival, he provided us with all the necessary information and also gave us several useful tips to visit the main attractions in the area. Overall definitely a very positive experience.

This is an amazing villa. It is the perfect place for multiple families to share a get together while having lots of space for separate time alone.

One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in. Everything was excellent, we felt like we were in paradise. The family is very nice and the accommodation and the pool are great! Always happy to come back

Thus is a great house to stay in and base yourself for a trip to Italy. Scario is a lovely town with all you need for a memorable holiday. Visits to Bosco and Dan Giovanni were nice. Wary drive from Naples. We visited Pompeii on way. We are a family of 7 and was lots of room. Pool (with diving) was great for the children (and adults 😀). We did need fans for first two nights but did not take away from a lovely stay. We would love to return and further explore all that the area offers knowing that we were staying in a fabulous house, chilled out, great views and comfortable.

Jos is extremely accommodating and friendly. The localisation is really nice and we had a great relaxing time in the Cilento. Jos also organises diners on some occasions, definitely recommend !

A very nice house in the middle of a natural park, a little piece of paradise. Pietro welcomed us wonderfully and gave us some corners undeniably etched in our minds, young and old.

Total silence, spacious well-served spaces, a pool among the olive trees, and nights stormed by stars brighter than precious stones. I don't know how to describe a slice of heaven. A heartfelt thank you to Miriam, always present and available for any needs. We hope to return again next year to have another wonderful vacation in Senise

The apartment is set in a beautiful location, 10mins by car from Scario where tou can get the boat to the most beautiful beaches. Jos and Anna are super nice and welcoming and the restaurant they have in the property serves amazing food and pizzas.

This was our third visit to the property and it was exactly what we needed, as always. Beautiful surroundings, well-provisioned kitchen with plenty of space to eat and lovely large pool.
