A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped, the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides. The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

This place is stunning! Within 5 minutes of arriving we knew this was going to be a great trip. Richie was very helpful and the arrival was smooth. The location is so picturesque; the view is amazing. The 3 beaches are completely private. The walk through the small path to the rocks was a great discovery and we spent time just sitting on the rocks enjoying the scenery. The house is beautiful and everything you could possibly need was provided. Even the towels were so soft and fluffy. The wood burning stove was a real treat on a chilly evening. The house is spotlessly clean and very well decorated. It’s a quiet area but not far from Peggy’s Cove or Halifax. Overall I can recommend this property enough. If Richie ever decides to sell I’ll be first in the queue. Overall a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Richie :)

I had a great stay at this beautiful tent! Everything was well set up and very comfortable. The only regret was the weather — there was a heavy rainstorm and strong winds at night. After hours of rain, a few small drops of water managed to seep through the tent. Also, guests need to bring their own fuel for the BBQ grill, but the host sells it, which made things much easier. I would suggest mentioning the option to buy fuel from the host directly in the listing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful location. Steps to the lighthouse with a very private feel. Short walk to restaurants and shops and a short drive to more. Close to a convenience store (Whalesback). The surroundings were better than the pictures, incredibly beautiful, so much history and very peaceful. The sunsets from the windows in the apartment were memorable! Needless to say, HIGHLY recommended.
