We loved our stay here! If you want a taste of local life with a private beach, friendly neighbors, and a quiet getaway, this is your place. Risan is a smaller town away from the crazy traffic in Kotor. There were markets, a great gelato place, and two local restaurants that we really enjoyed. We had a rental car which made it easy to drive to visit Perast and Kotor, but we ended up so thankful we stayed here because it wasn’t covered in tourists and felt like a quiet oasis away from the crowds. Gorana and her parents were lovely! Helped us find a taxi one day and made us some sweets the next day. The view from Risan is incredible and we spent many evenings sitting by the sea. We 100% recommend and would come back and stay again.

Staying at Aleksandra’s place in Kotor was a truly lovely experience! The apartment was cozy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location is ideal — close enough to explore the beauty of Kotor, yet peaceful enough to relax. Aleksandra was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with great local tips. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

Absolutely amazing! The place, the view and most importantly the hosts. You’ll not find a better place to stay, the view from terrace, the possibility to jump into the water when ever you feel like, it’s just few steps away, the comfort of the apartment and the warm welcome from the hosts. The location is ideal, away from the crowd, but still a walking distance from the old town. Perfect base for exploring neighboring towns and sights. I would definitely go again! Probably one of the best places in the Kotor area especially in terms of view. The apartment had a beautiful balcony and was furnished very well. Would definitely recommend.

Zeljka was a very good host. I liked the view of the house, the layout of the furniture, the cleanliness of the environment, and the availability of all the tools and equipment that might be needed. In addition, it was a very nice gesture to give us his own beach umbrella to use when we asked him to suggest a place where we could rent a beach umbrella. There was only one mirror in the house, and the fact that there was only one mirror in a house that offered accommodation for 4 people was a bit of a problem, but we didn't have much of a problem because it was a situation that could be improved.

she and her doughter was really helpfull and flexible. home was clean. bathroom and kitchen was clean also. view of this room is great. you can arrive the old town in 15 minutes by walk. also you can swim in front of the house. Highly reccomended!

Ronduit great! Tastefully decorated, the clearest water in the world, air conditioning in the bedroom came in handy, perfect location, delicious fresh bakery around the corner, department store within walking distance, use of the subs possible,…. Highly recommended!!

We recently stayed at Tanja’s wonderful top floor apartment in Budva, and it exceeded our expectations. The balcony offers truly breathtaking views that made every morning and evening special. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the charming Old Town and the beautiful beach, making it easy to explore and relax without hassle. Stunning apartment with a incredible view and the best hosts. The garden is beautiful and the apartment has everything you could need. The apartment is a bit out of town but we managed the walk and taxis are available and cheap and the hosts helped us with these. We would recommend staying here and would hope to visit next time we are back.

A great place to stay, the host was super helpful in any questions we had and flexible with check in times. Nice view of the mountains from the balcony and everything you need in the area. It’s roughly a 30min walk to the Old town and a 15-20min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property

Marko and Marica were gracious, friendly and fantastic hosts. The property was immaculately maintained, very well prepared and with a superbly equipped. The location is fantastic, so peaceful and with a great relaxing atmosphere. Marko met us at the nearby petrol station to show us how to get to the property including how to navigate the tight corner. The first drive up and down was quite tricky but was fine after that and no problem in a large SUV. Highly recommended place, very good location to explore Kotor Bay from and an oasis of calm where time slows down.

I booked the house for my parents and their friends, à group of five. The house is big and comfort, have everything may need during the stay. It is in a relatively more quiet area but you may easy access to popular spots with less than 30 min drive. There is also ferry access allows you to get to Budva and Tivat easier. It’s a good stay to explore Montenegro

The host was exceptional & Villa Splendor is a must! charming villa nestled in a picturesque location offers utterly breathtaking views of the stunning coastline & surrounding mountains. It's a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind & soak in the beauty of nature. Our group of 8 ladies spent a truly wonderful time here. The villa itself is beautifully designed, combining modern amenities with a touch of traditional elegance. Very spacious with comfortable rooms, well-equipped kitchen, & lovely common areas where you can relax and enjoy your time with family and friends. One of the highlights is the outdoor terrace, ideal for sipping your morning coffee or hosting a leisurely dinner under the stars. The pool, complete with a tavern, is perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. The location is convenient for exploring the charming old town of Kotor, which is a short walk away. We went on a boat trip recommended by Alexandra & would highly recommend it. Would book again in a heartbeat!

It was very easy to communicate with Slavko, when we went, his wife Sanija greeted us, she was a polite and sweet lady, everywhere was clean, the linens smelled soft, the kitchen and all other necessities were available, including the washing machine in the house, the view was even more beautiful than the photos, we sat on the balcony and watched the view, we were eager to visit the old city and watch the view from the balcony. The old city is 15 minutes on foot, but the exit is a bit uphill, so it may be a problem. We went down on foot and went up by taxi, but if I come to Kotora again, I would like to stay in this unique view

Super close to the old town, and steak restaurant near by is good! Bedroom got nice and dim with the window shades and fan in room even though there was AC as well!

One of the highlights for me was the breathtaking view from the balcony. No photos can truly capture how stunning it is. Nice clean apartment with all necessities. parking is after a steep and narrow slope so drive carefully.

Stevo and his wife were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment itself is best of the best, cozy & modern interior, small garden from the kitchen side and just 2 minutes walk to the sea, definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Smiljka’s place. Immaculately clean, and every detail thought of. Amenities including air con were great. She was extremely responsive during our stay, including recommendations on where to hire a car from, as well as tips about the local area. The location is as described, less than 5 minute stroll to the beach (it is a pebble beach, so would recommend swim shoes or Crocs if you can) and 10 minutes from Kotor Old Town, which was beautiful and full of places to go to eat and explore. We travelled by car, so a private parking spot so central was an added bonus. It was a little tricky to find initially, but Smiljka was amazing, communicated with us the whole time and met us on the road and guided us in. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking to travel to Kotor. Thanks for a great stay Smiljka!
