We were very happy with our stay in the apartment — everything matched the description. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen where you can cook proper meals, the parking space, and the lovely balcony with a great view of the city. Carlos was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

The best host I have ever stayed with through airbnb. Lionel and Carla are super, super hosts!! The property is immaculate, very spacious and on a superbly situated development. The beds were super comfy, great black out blinds too. There are many fabulous local restaurants nearby or you can easily hop onto a bus just outside of the apartment block to Funchal. Lionel and Carla really go the extra mile! If you require any help or information the response time is immediate! Thank you for making our stay in Maderia so perfect! We will be back!

The location and apartment suited us very well: right next to the beach with a lovely pool and view, quiet but easily accessible from the aerobus; and with other bus routes and shops within walking distance, as well as the seaside promenade. Rui Miguel really made an effort to provide all sorts of useful info at relevant times, and was always very responsive and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience.

Super Unterkunft mit sehr viel Platz und sehr umfangreicher Ausstattung (zB Küche ausreichend ausgestattet um kochen zu können, Salz und Öl waren vorhanden. Waschmittel und Waschmaschine usw.) . Für mein Gefühl sehr sauber. Jede einzelne Schublade in den Schränken, unter dem Bett usw. war es sehr sauber. Einzige Dinge welche den Aufenthalt noch verbessert hätten? Einen extra privaten Parkplatz vielleicht. Trotzdem haben wir immer einen Parkplatz gefunden! Und man sollte wissen, dass man auch mal 10 Minuten laufen muss um in das Stadtzentrum zu kommen. Ich würde wieder hier her kommen.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

Joana is a kind and proactive host, always available. She gave us advice for good restaurants and places to visit :) The appartment is bigger than expected with everything you could ask for. I would definitely recommend Joana‘s place! Small tip: The underground parking space and its entrance are quite narrow so try to get a smaller rental car if possible. Not kmpossible with laeger cars, but less stressfull for sure 😁

Venho comunicar sobre minha estadia no apartamento da Anastasia. Foi totalmente maravilhoso do início da reserva até o dia do meu check-in. O apartamento totalmente equipado para seus dias de férias, tudo limpo e organizado faço acesso a praias, restaurantes. Me senti em casa pois o conforto do apartamento é espetacular fora a vista que ele oferece é magnífica! Só um detalhe a passar, quem gosta de silêncio e acordar tarde. Pois já pela manhã o movimento de carros e pessoas se ouve tudo mas para mim não fez diferença. EU AMEI MEUS DIAS FÉRIAS NESSA ILHA PERFEITA E MINHA ESTÁDIA NO APARTAMENTO. Recomendo muito!

Correu tudo bem, conforme me foi comunicado. Superou as espectativas pela localização e toda a zona envolvente. Já partilhei com amigos e familiares para caso pretendam conhecer a ilha usufruírem desse espaço formidável. Farei todos os possíveis para lá voltar.

Toller Aufenthalt mit Hund ★★★★★ Eugénia und Duarte sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber*innen! Die Unterkunft war perfekt für mich und meine erwachsene Tochter – gemütlich, sauber und in guter Lage. Unser Hund Akiko war zwar kein besonderer "Gast", aber ausdrücklich willkommen, was uns sehr wichtig war. Alles war unkompliziert, und die Kommunikation super freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

Nos vacances n'auraient pas été les mêmes sans le logement d'Igor, qui est agréable, propre, fonctionnel et bien placé. En effet, le centre-ville est à deux pas, la voie rapide à 2 ou 3 km, Funchal et l'aéroport à moins d'1/2h de route et la vue du balcon est bien agréable. Nous avons choisi ce logement par hasard et nous avons été ravis de nous trouver dans cette petite ville qui nous as conquis. Thanks for everything, Igor, and all the best.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

Everything was great. The place was super clean, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, there were extra towels, hygiene products and multiple pillows, the kitchen was fully equipped too. Hosts clearly know what they're doing.

Spędziliśmy w tym mieszkaniu tydzień, wszystko nam się podobało od lokalizacji po udogodnienia takie jak pralka,suszarka,ręczniki plażowe, piekarnik. Super kontakt z właścicielem ,szybko odpowiadał na nasze pytania. Dziękujemy za miły prezent powitalny. Jeśli wrócimy na Maderę to z pewnością wybierzemy Machico i ten apartament.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Die Wohnung ist hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Tiefgarage ist geräumig. Super, daß eine Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine da war. Iri hat sich viel Mühe gegeben und uns auf ihrem Weg am nächsten Tag nochmal zum Flughafen mitgenommen , da wir Probleme mit der Autovermietung hatten. Ein toller Aufenthalt

Logement fonctionnel dans une résidence sécurisée avec Parking. Un petit balcon est très appréciable. L’autre est d’un accueil des plus chaleureux avec beaucoup de recommandations et de conseils de site exceptionnels à visiter. Attention deux lits séparés dans la chambre.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war hervorragend. Es war alles vorhanden und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Absolut zu empfehlen.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect home base. The host checked us in and walked us through the apartment to show us how things worked which was great. The location was not super walkable to restaurants and such for my parents due to the steep hills, but it wasn't an issue for us and the beach path was great to walk in the evenings. Definitely recommend.

L'endroit est magnifique, dans une petite résidence avec piscine, proche de toute commodités. L'appartement est superbe avec une vue dégagée. Le lieu est propice à visiter le reste de l'île si vous êtes véhiculés :)
