Holiday rentals in Praia Formosa

It’s not often that you find accommodation that ticks all the boxes particularly when travelling with a large group. My family absolutely loved our stay here during our visit to Madeira. The Airbnb was luxurious and provided a relaxing environment while being close to great restaurants, beaches / pools and shops. Each bedroom was spacious, en-suite and with a sea view over the Atlantic. The apartment in general had everything you could think of to make our stay feel as homely and comfortable as possible. Having access to a 3 car private garage allowed hassle free travel anywhere around the island and was a real plus for my elder grandparents and the babies and toddlers in our group. A big thank you to our attentive Airbnb host for an absolutely memorable stay. We will be back!

We had a great time at the apartment. The bedding is very comfortable, the apartment is beautiful and has a great view of the sea. The nights are quiet, no noise. Everything was great, maybe add soap/shampoo and extra toilet paper for long stays. The neighborhood is clean, by the sea with good restaurants nearby

I had a great stay here. Vikoria was very communicative and helped promptly with everything. I really appreciated her help. The apartment is amazing and has a great view,I enjoyed sunset everyday. The location is great too, it's next to the mall and a big supermarket. Definitely worth it.

This was my first ever experience with Airbnb, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone any better. The villa is absolutely stunning super clean, beautifully designed, and just has this calm, elegant vibe that makes you feel relaxed the second you walk in. But the view? Man… the view is something else. Pictures don’t even come close. You have to be there to get it. The Nóbrega’s genuinely kind, super responsive, and incredibly helpful. Every time I had a question or needed something, they replied almost instantly and made sure everything was smooth. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. Everything was just effortless. I felt comfortable, welcomed, and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m 100% coming back if I’m ever in the area again. Massive thanks to the Nóbrega’s you really made my first Airbnb stay unforgettable 🙏 If I could give 6 stars, I would!

The apartment was amazing! It had everything we needed. We especially appreciated separate towels for bathing and for the beach. The washing machine with a dryer was also very convenient after hiking. The apartment did feel like home, and it was very pleasant to come back after a long day of exploring Madeira. We appreciated that the parking was included and that it was never crowded, so we didn't worry that we might need to search for a spot. The swimming pool and the gym were pleasant additions. Trust me, you WILL WANT a picture from the infinity swimming pool. But the best thing about the place was Marianna. She was so helpful and so responsive. All her recommendations were top-notch! The food and experience were incredible. Thank you so much for our wonderful mini-vacation. We couldn't be more satisfied with your place.

Beautiful accommodation in a recently renovated complex, everything is new, clean and well decorated. The supermarket is right in front of the residence and the kitchen has all the necessary equipment to be independent all week. The pool is great, the gym too, the residence is quiet and well located, a good distance to take the road and visit all that there is to see in Madeira. Not to be overlooked: a parking space in the basement and a guarded residence. Many thanks to Mariana for her hospitality and availability, we had a great stay on the beautiful island of Madeira 🫶🏼

Ricardo’s place was very good. Great apartment in a very upscale building. Area was perfect, nice view from terrace, very clean. Mariana was our point of contact and she communicated with us very well. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only negatives I would point out about the apartment is that there are no soap and shampoo shelves in the shower, not a major issue. The concierge in the building are not very helpful. The concierge is employed by the building and Ricardo has nothing to do with that. I would definitely stay here again. Btw, the infinity pool is fantastic with an awesome view.

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!
