Family-friendly holiday rentals in Praia dos Salgados

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

Good neighborhood, swimming pools and tennis courts on the territory of the complex. You definitely need a car to go to the beach and nearby cities Vladimir gave recommendations where to go and was always in touch

It was a charming accommodation. It was big for two people and we felt comfortable right away. Communication was easy. All in all, we were very please.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Lagos! We were a group of six and found the property to be incredibly spacious—there was more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and we especially loved the pool in the building—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. The host Yordan was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the welcome book filled with helpful recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, and activities. It made exploring Lagos so much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

Really great ocean-side apartment! The views are lovely and felt like it was the perfect distance from the downtown area. everything we needed to make the most of the local surroundings! Would highly recommend and would look to rebook if we return to the region!

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. 7 friends had a great stay at this villa. It's so spacious, and great views with a great pool area. It's easy and cheap to get into town through Ubers (5 euro), and just a great place to relax. The rooms were all nice and big with en-suites, and showers were good. Kitchen was well stocked as well, and we had lots of BBQs - which being gas was quick and convenient. Highly recommend to friends and/or families that would want to say. You'd struggle to find any problems with this place.

When simplicity is luxury. beach house for those who like authentic stays and are looking for a relaxing vacation with their feet in the sand. The host Paulo was always helpful and attentive. The beach house is old but optimally preserved, fully equipped and clean. congratulations

Very peaceful, clean villa with great pool and things for young children to play with. Car is essential to access local amenities. Host Carmen very informative and friendly.

This apartment was a dream for us while staying at Portimão, we felt immediately at home with the beautiful decoration, all the amenities we could need, spotless clean, good internet and a balcony with view to the beach. The apartment itself is 5 stars and we wished we could stay longer. The location is also perfect, very close with easily walkable distance to the beautiful beach of “os três irmãos”. Pedro was extremely nice, responsive and super helpful. We, a family of 3 with a 7 year old, were extremely happy and wishing to come back. Fantastic deal, thank you so much Pedro!

Silvia has always been very friendly and responsive. The accommodation is perfect and a 10-minute walk from the old town of Lagos, 20 minutes from the beaches. Everything is available: beach towels, parasol, beach toys... The welcome gifts are fabulous (breakfast, fridge almost full!!!...). I highly recommend it!

Really lovely apartment. Very clean and well stocked… had everything you could need. The view from the balcony is fab, so relaxing to sit there listening to the lapping of the waves. Jose and Diogo were very nice to deal with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some quiet time out.

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

Fabulous hosts! I dealt with Isabelle throughout and she was so helpful and answered all questions and sent links for yours I enquired about ! The apartment is simply immaculate and so well stocked throughout with the most thoughtful little extras such as beach towels, suntan lotion, beach umbrellas and even bucket and spades for your kids! Stayed here for a week. Loved the natural pool, the butterflies, the froglets and bull frogs, the bird song, the smell of lemons and herbs and the faint chance that we might spot an Iberian lynx all added to the romance of the place.

Fantastic place. Nice and clean. Easy access, close to the Marina and not far at all from Old/New Towns. We didn’t need to contact host during our stay as everything was in place. Nice sized living room and great patio.

You stay here for the view, and you will not be disappointed!

Really great location and the view from the pool was amazing. It was very easy to drive to all different areas of Algarve from here. Birgit was very nice, thoughtful, and gave great recommendations on what to see and restaurants to eat at.

A charming and eclectic place with a magical vibe. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which has the kitchen/living in a separate entrance but this actually made us spend more time in this room which became our favourite. Beautiful antique furniture! The garden is absolutely stunning and you’ll have a beautiful time even if you don’t go anywhere else. The owners are lovely and kind people, always responsive and helpful with recommendations.

Our stay at this house was really great. It had all the amenities, lovely views and the different seating arrangements were perfect for our group. A home away from home. Communicating with Trisha had also been very easy. We would highly recommend to book this property.
