Apartamento Carmen II "Ferrol"

Spectacular duplex in a stately building completely renovated since the eighteenth century located in the heart of the central neighborhood of La Magdalena. The apartment preserves the original wooden beams and the magnificent wooden galleries - the epitome of the city - from which you can enjoy the Canton of Molins, a fabulous avenue full of magnolias and other pioneering species in Galicia, as a "floating garden". The accommodation has 3 bedrooms: two bedrooms with a double bed, and one with a bay window with two twin beds. It also has two bathrooms fully equipped with shower trays; full kitchen with appliances and utensils and open concept living room with TV and WiFi. A very special accommodation, from which to enjoy the city and the charms of the modernist footprint. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! This home has heating using radiators that are enabled from November to April. By calling for responsible use as part of a climate and social emergency, we want to be part of the solution and not the problem. Therefore, and given the oceanic climate of our city, where temperatures in the coldest winter months oscillate between 6º and 15º C, we will have heating available in two time slots: one morning and the other afternoon, always maintaining a comfortable temperature that oscillates between 18º and 20º C. The maximum ignition time is limited to between 4 and 6 hours a day, depending on the weather. Guests can choose their operating hours based on their living habits. It is important to understand that heating a home like ours (150 sq. meters) is not the same as heating a smaller hotel room type stay (15 sq. meters).

From the start of our experience to the end, we had the best stay. Perfect for a family stay, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Communication was excellent, and the interiors of the property were stunning, so much care and attention has been taken with the property. The dogs were also very friendly as were the chickens! And when we needed something for the baby, Patricia found a solution within the morning, very kind.

A completely charming house; you have the Cetarea of San Felipe in front and it is a beauty. The house has 3 apartments; I went with an elderly person and two children and it was easy to access all the areas of the house. You have nearby beaches and the atmosphere of the area is unparalleled. Thanks to Concha, Jul and Alberto for their hospitality, kindness and help; I'm sure.

A truly excellent and very clean accommodation. We felt very comfortable in the spacious house. Perfectly equipped and a convenient parking facility right next door. A short walk to the most beautiful beaches, simply wonderful. José is very likeable and caring. He immediately fulfilled the request for a hair dryer. He also left us a few things for breakfast, such as coffee capsules, bread and fruit. Thank you very much, we had a wonderful relaxing holiday.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Galicia. Spent the week here and loved being able to cook in the beautiful kitchen and relax in the clean space. Little luxuries like the washer and towel dryers were super nice too. Only a short walk to the beach which has a whole system of beautiful trails that have an “off-the-beaten path” feel. Right next to the supermarket. Ares is beautiful but also felt less busy than neighboring areas which we really liked. Good home base for visiting other parts of Galicia as well (we had a car).
