Holiday rentals in Praia da Rocha Baixinha

Quarterfeira is easy to find from the Airport, I hired a car and drove, it took about 35 mins. It is a touriust destination for sure but I was there in late May and the season was not fully underway so it was pretty quiet on the beaches and always a table in the local restaurants. The apartment is situated right at the end of the main promenade by a square which has a great little restaurant/bar on it. Turn right out of the door and you can walk into town which is full of markets, bars and so on, but turning left takes you down to the other beach, which is much less built up, no deck chairs and stuff like that, more natural. I preferred that side to the sunbeds and parasols side, but either way you have the choice. Mornings are beautiful, it gets hot in the afternoon and the A/C was perfect for that. The kitchen was great and I made a few meals. Getting in and out of Quarterfeira by car is super easy and I did a bit of driving around which I really enjoyed. Definitely a great stay!!!

Wij verbleven 4 maanden in Ludgero,s huis,en vonden het heel fijn daar. Voor altijd de zon, en achter heerlijk terras,en s,middags de zon. We hebben genoten..... Verder zijn wij wandelaars,en hebben flinke, prachtige tochten gelopen,in de mooie natuur. Ook met de bus op pad,omdat wij er niets om geven zelf auto te rijden. Heerlijke resto,s,en leuke barretjes vlak bij. Al met al een geweldige tijd,de 1e, 4 maanden van het jaar. Ludgero,was ontzettend aardig,en reageerde heel snel. SIEF EN ELS UIT NEDERLAND.

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und hoher Qualität eingerichtet – es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage in der Nähe von Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch der Strand war bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Dank der herzlichen und reibungslosen Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin Teresa haben wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt – der perfekte Start in unseren Urlaub! Wenn wir das nächste Mal an die Algarve reisen, ist diese Unterkunft definitiv unsere erste Wahl. Vielen Dank für alles, Teresa!

Wat een fijne week hebben we gehad in het appartement van Jef. Ben je op zoek naar een compleet verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht op zee? Dit fijne appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen vakantie. Het uitzicht op zee vanaf het terras is super en het gemeenschappelijke zwembad is schoon én vrij toegankelijk. Je loopt zó naar het strand en in de directe omgeving vind je gezellige restaurants en leuke cafés. Binnen is het appartement van alle gemakken voorzien: een functionele keuken met vaatwasser en wasmachine – zelfs vaatwastabletten en wasmiddel stonden al klaar. Aan werkelijk alles was gedacht. Met airconditioning in woonkamer en slaapkamer slaap je comfortabel. Ook parkeren is geen probleem dankzij de makkelijk toegankelijke parkeergarage. De communicatie met Jef was top: snel, duidelijk en behulpzaam. Bij vragen kregen we meteen reactie. Dit appartement is een aanrader voor wie zorgeloos wil genieten!

Fantastic location a fabulous few days to spend there. The Apartment was very spacious and clean. Really large and well equipped terrace and the views were incredible. Everyone can find a spot to relax and get the sun all day. Quiet area away from busy clubs and pubs. You can walk everywhere. Floris our host is fabulous and very helpful and always replied to answer any questions that we had. Floris thank you for the welcome present. It was a nice surprise ! We absolutly enjoyed our stay and will be returning for sure😊

We had a fabulous month at Jef’s place. The apartment was extremely well equipped. We had everything we needed in the kitchen allowing us to cook most days; we could cast our own programmes to the smart TV; the apartment was very comfortable and homely. Jef was brilliant - great instructions before arrival, a warm welcome and local recommendations, and immediately responsive to our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The apartment was in a great location in Quartiera - 50 yards to the local bakery and a short walk further to the nearest supermarket. The beach was a short walk away and everything we could have wanted was within easy reach. We found a parking space nearby every day. Thank you Jef for a relaxing and very enjoyable and comfortable respite from an English winter.

Marks place was perfect for us to explore the local area with our toddler. The apartment is beautiful and exactly as described. We loved having the pool to use but safely out of the way of the apartment. Mark was very friendly and responsive throughout and was on hand for any questions. We walked to the local beach and the rock pools were fantastic at low tide to play in. We had a hire car to explore further afield but could have happily done everything on foot locally too.
