Family-friendly holiday rentals in Praia da Rocha Baixinha

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

Great location.👌 Ability to leave the car and do a lot of things on foot. The hike along the coast to get to the pretty little fishing village Burgau is a nice reward ♥️ (beach restaurant at the top). Breathtaking views of the sea and the pretty little town of the apartment with private elevator access😁! The restaurants are very good too with lots of choice!! On the other hand, the accommodation would be more than 5* if a refreshment was done (jacuzzi at the end of the race, pergola asking for a renovation as well as the blinds, etc.). Paulo is a fantastic host, our very first Air bnb ! We would definitely recommend as it was just the perfect holiday for us! Lots of walks and beaches are beautiful, all within a few minutes walk. A great small supermarket with Coffee bar again just a few minutes walk. Brilliant , loved it!

Vladimir is an excellent host. Perfect welcome, very human and a lot of kindness. The apartment is located in a quiet oasis in portimao. There is a swimming pool access. For children, it's great. The rooms are fine and the bedding was fine. It takes the car to visit the Algarve. Vladimir's recommendations for restaurants and activities were really appreciated.

Great location for our first ever visit to The Algarve! The apartment is very spacious, with beautiful views of the ocean. Not a difficult walk downhill to the town center. Carvoeiro is a gorgeous and charming beach town - great as a headquarters for adventuring in the Algarve.

The place was lovely - open and airy with beautiful views. The walk down to Carvoeiro was a little hairy since the road is very thin with odd steps to one side that are difficult to walk on. Most people from the area seemed to walk on the road. The Carvoeiro boardwalk is on the other side of the beach (walkable) and Seven Hanging Trails is easy to get to by car. The central location made exploring the Algarve easy.

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We would definitely stay again when in the beautiful Algarve! Thanks, Mia

Have stayed at this accommodation before - modern, clean & very well equipped - in a quiet development that is easy to find & suited our trip (golf) The marina is nearby where there are countless good & varied bars & restaurants to try. If you want somewhere quiet but with lots of life within 10 mins then this is a good Algarve location - great base to explore a selection of high level golf courses. A great host & no doubt will stay again.

We would recommend this to anyone looking for a first class apartment in a fairly quiet location. The top floor balcony gives access for al fresco dining, sunbathing and evening chilling. The views are simply stunning. the apartment is perfectly located for a few bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. all literally outside your main door. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and perfect. we've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this ranks as one of the very best. also the downloadable instructions to get in are fool proof!! thank you

We had a very short stay at Lurie’s place. Very nice host and excellent apartment for a family of five. He was always available for our questions or informations to help our trip planning . Great place to stay !

Such a gem of a place. We stayed for 6 nights; I originally (mistakenly) only booked for 5 nights but the hosts were accommodating and responsive when I requested to add another night to the end of the trip. We came for my 40th birthday, and I was looking for a place right on the coast, with cliffs and ocean views. This perfectly fit the bill and I had an enchanting time. There are so many lovely spaces in the house to enjoy the views and the weather, and the hosts are responsive and send recommendations for the area.

Adriana was one of the bests hosts I’ve had of my 10 years using Airbnb! She’s very responsive, worked insanely quickly to fix some minor issues and even checked in on me after the issues were resolved. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s quiet, safe, has amazing views and the proximity to the beach and shops is unreal! Can’t say enough amazing things about it, it’s the perfect location for a getaway.

The property is very central, yet very quiet. Large free parking nearby. Great view from the balcony. The place is very simple, but has everything you need! Communication with Marco was very pleasant and he was very quick to respond to questions, gladly again! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean (very happy to let my little one crawl around on the floors it was so clean!). Much bigger than the photos. Pool area was very peaceful. Lots of amenities without being cluttered. Well stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. Restaurants and beautiful beaches within walking distance. Great communication and very helpful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The place is stunning in a really great location don’t need to leave the villa apart from shopping, Ubers are cheap into the old town and Lidl for shopping we didn’t spend more than about 15 euro for an uber. A bit of an update to some things like bathrooms could be done if fussy but for the price of the villa I thought the value was excellent. Heated pool is a must to take the chill out of it and definitely worth the money the small pool was very warm and great for kids. Overall we had an excellent stay and our villa manager was always there if we needed them although we didn’t. I will 100% be booking again in the future.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Nicely furnished, modern flat in Albufeira marina. Clean and lots of natural light. Comfortable balcony with a view of the shared pool and the marina. Lots of restaurants right downstairs. Convenient parking spot in building. Anabela, the Host greeted us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. The bathroom could use a makeover…the only outlet in the bathroom did not work, the bathtub drain was rusty and the shower curtain needs to changed. The kitchen is quaint and fully functional. The drip coffeemaker needs to be replaced or at least replace the filter. Thankfully, they also had a Nespresso coffee maker. Washer was a plus. If your stay is longer than a week, you will get fresh linens an towels. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)

Excellent and thoughtful accommodations! All details have been carefully considered for an enjoyable stay, including sand toys for kids to have fun at the beach. Would recommend this as an excellent place to stay!

We stayed at Isabel’s villa for 9 nights, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. The villa is fantastic - much better than the pictures, well equipped with everything you need and very spacious (big rooms, lots of outdoor space, bbq and a big pool). We paid to have the pool heated which was beneficial as some days it was a bit chilly. The villa is fairly remote, we had cars but also used Ubers to get around. It’s about a 3-4 min drive to the nearest supermarket and a 5 min drive to the main town and beach. Isabel recommended some day trips and local restaurants, all of which were great. She was also flexible with check in and check out times which was super handy with the kids, and was very responsive throughout the trip when we had questions. We’d 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and hope to return!

We had a fantastic time with two families at Fernando's house. The house is spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The central location made it easy to discover nice towns and attractions in the area. One of the highlights was definitely the heated pool, which we enjoyed daily, whatever the weather. Fernando was a thoughtful and helpful host, easily accessible and clear in communication. In short: recommended for anyone who wants to stay comfortably and centrally with family or friends. We'd love to come back!
