Very well located as a starting point for trips to Lisbon or the surrounding area. Buses and trains can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Also shops are in the immediate vicinity and in Rua Cândida dos Reis, which leads to the ferry port, there are some very nice restaurants/cafes. The place is very clean and very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need and don't necessarily want to take with you when traveling (iron/small ironing board, for example😅). John Nicolas is a very nice and helpful host who responds quickly to any questions that come up. The most beautiful addition for me in Almada - be sure to go to the River Garden at sunset and enjoy the great views of Lisbon, Ponte 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei.

My stay at Tânia‘s couldn‘t have been better. The appartment was always very clean and is in a quiet neigbourhood. Tânia is a very friendly host and always gives good advice. She was very helpful about the public transport and is a very welcoming and warm person. I can definitely recommend.

This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

Two days to visit Lisbon by taking the river shuttle to seixta 10mn from the apartment (crossing 20mn).... Visit alfama neighborhoods, seixta. Chiado... Tuk tuk tour of the city discovering many monuments with a super guide who speaks French English and English very well. Great knowledge of history... Tuktuk DOURO&TEJO too great. Today belem, estoril, sintra., waterfalls Perfect location friendly hosts. ***** I will recommend around me without hesitation

It’s an amazing apartment! Environment: The apartment is located in a very quiet area, which allows us to sleep peacefully. There’s also a beautiful garden nearby. Decoration: There are two large lobbies with lovely flowers and tasteful decorations. The windows are also a highlight—you can control them easily using the switch located below the light switch. Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of spices and seasonings, and the fridge is very spacious. Service: The hosts are truly wonderful. When we arrived, they personally showed us around the apartment. They had even prepared a delicious cake and Mateus wine to welcome us! They also provided a helpful guide with local information such as nearby shops and hospitals. Any time we had a question, they responded quickly and kindly. They even have a color printer available! All in all, I absolutely love this apartment and would highly recommend it.
