We call this place "The Shed". It is part of a commercial building that we have transformed into a comfortable & cozy getaway! The name of the game is convenience! We are right on snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, close to fishing & boating on the lake, close to golf, shopping, lots of restaurants & all of the wedding venues! There is room to park your sleds, boats or trailers! Spend the day enjoying all that Crosslake has to offer then come home to cozy up to a nice warm fireplace!

Private Cottage w/Queen Bed + Lakes, golfing, etc.

Beautiful, cozy cottage located on owner's property. Surrounded by lakes (however not on one), world-class golf, towering pine trees and amazing restaurants and shopping. You will have the cottage to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed, also a full bath. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep two more. We are walking distance to Pequot Lakes, and just a 10 minute drive to Breezy Point or Nisswa for an amazing shopping experience. We welcome friendly, fully vetted dogs.

This has been our family home since the 1960's. It is nothing fancy but if you are looking for clean and comfortable, we try our best!! It is 1 mile from Longville, 40 miles to Pine River, 30 miles to Walker, and only minutes away from many lakes and trails. *we are currently in the process of working on some much needed repairs to the deck, siding, and such so please keep in mind it may be in some degree of repair if you book through the summer of 2025*

Andrew and Louis, We had a delightful stay at Beauty Lake. From your beautiful home, simple and stylish decor and peaceful place to paddle at sunset we couldn’t have found a nicer spot. One evening, during cocktails on the dock, we were even visited by a loon swimming by about 10 feet away, wow! We also loved the easy proximity to Lake Itasca. We kayaked to the headwaters one day and rode rented bikes around the Wilderness Drive loop. Both, highly recommended. We will definitely put your place and Lake Itasca on our itinerary for our next Minnesota adventure. Thanks again for the providing such a wonderful place, Randy and Carla

This was our fourth summer visiting Hidden Haven and we loved our time there, as usual. My boys love the fishing, swimming and kayaking in the lake. I love the peaceful setting, loon watching and relaxation. The cabin is very clean and comfortable and has everything we needed. Leslie and Andrew are kind and helpful hosts, and had great recommendations for local things to do when we got a bit of rain.

The Sooner by the Lake

We had a great stay in this very comfortable 'Up North' home. The bedrooms & kitchen included everything we needed. The screened in porches were a huge plus. Loved sitting with a cup of coffee watching and listening to the lake come alive in the morning. Also great place for an evening snack, the sunset view and chorus of the loons! The bikes and kayaks are a great addition and we put them to use. The streets are quiet and the bike trail seemingly never ends :) We used the dock for kayak launching and our pontoon boat. The water is shallow in the bay and around the dock but you can easily motor in and out. Lot's of fishing options, and a great sandbar at the south end of the lake to anchor the boat and let the kids swim. A great place for an enjoyable and relaxing time.

Chelsea was a doll! Super helpful when I didn’t see the code to get into the door. (I may have panicked a little.) Coffee and tea readily available. Fresh linens, wonderful sauna. The woods are full of wild berries, so in about a month there will be a harvest of wild strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries, and boysenberries. It was close to our family gathering , and close to Hackensack which had a great restaurant for breakfast. I would totally stay again.
