Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Powell County

Cabin was just as described in the listing. Secluded, peaceful, and relaxing location. Host were very accommodating to our needs. Lots of outdoor activities in the area. Would definitely come back again.

Be prepared to have a breathtaking view and amazing experience! The hosts really paid attention to every detail and the house was so thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view alone was worth the money but the place itself was just as beautiful. You’re in the “middle of nowhere” but can be to Kroger or a handful of fast food restaurants in 10 minutes.. drive another 10 minutes and you’re at all of the main attractions in the Gorge. The only negative thing I could possibly say was the wifi buffered a lot but that is to be expected in a mountain home that is new construction. Our overall experience was more than what I could’ve asked for! We will definitely book again and I can’t recommend this place enough!! You will not be disappointed! 😊

Breck and Linda's place was the perfect home base for our family, our dog and a friend while we visited the Red River Gorge! It was close by to all the places we wanted to visit and the kitchen was wonderful for home cooking (after we had Miguel's pizza of course). Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed, we'd definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway for me and my friends! The house was in a perfect setting with beautiful views and a bubbling creek that made sitting outside so peaceful and beautiful. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day of long hiking. The house is thoroughly clean and has everything you need! They have thought of everything. The also had the easiest checkout process. We just had to load the dishwasher and start it before leaving. This gave us more time in the morning to just relax and enjoy our last few hours! It is only 15 minutes from Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. Great location! The restaurants Margo suggested were great! Thanks Margo for your hospitality! Hope to visit again some day!

everything was great ! Just be prepared to drive to go anywhere (which it is like that no matter where you stay at red river gorge)

I’m telling you, this was amazing if I could give her 50 stars I would. We had rented a different place upon getting there with all the past flooding and all that we couldn’t get to the place we had originally rented I got on Airbnb found Jeniffer‘s place booked it and within less than an hour she sent us all the information to get checked in and everything very responsive to any questions we had the instructions that she gave us with all the detailed information about where to eat and things to do and trails to hike. I can’t say enough about her as a hostabout her house about the whole ordeal. I will definitely be booking with her again amazing amazing amazing it doesn’t even do it justice.

Reclining further was a perfect for the four of us while watching television, and the basement area is a plus. Dog friendly and our two bully pups had plenty of yard to run around. No fence unfortunately. Besides that, great location and the host was amazingly informative

You can tell that Allen is dedicated to the house and he is very helpful in communicating and helping to solve problems.The house is in a beautiful environment and not too far from the surrounding attractions.

Andrew’s place was great! We stayed for Railbird and it was very nice place to get ready and rest between the sets. Very clean and pristine. Very comfy bed as well! Thanks again! We will be back!

We had such a good time at this apartment. Lots to do within 15 minutes drive. Found everything we could've need in the apartment while we stay here. She takes care of every details and was very responsive.

This is a great spot right through Nada tunnel with a sweet family of hosts. We love supporting family businesses and air BNBs which have live in hosts and it’s clear they’re running this place themselves! Glad to find this cozy space convenient to everything we need to access in the Red.

Great location will definitely stay again

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Scott's place is very clean and very comfortable. A short distance from beautiful downtown Mt. Sterling and close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and the freeway, if you are looking for a place while visiting the area, check out Scott's place. It is very conveniently located and Scott is a very responsive host. The apartment has all the amenities you need for a short or long stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place with plenty of parking. The inside was immaculate, whoever did the decor did a fabulous job with the minimalist but cozy environment. The host is very considerate with tea, coffee, and bottled water offerings. It’s advertised as pet friendly, which they confirmed with a pet waste spot, including bags in the back area of the property. Great place!

We had one issue with a bed and she immediately responded and brought another option I didn't comb through the listing but having cooking oil and a mixing bowl would have been nice kitchen has pots and pans silverware salt pepper and cups, plates and cereal bowls. Over all the location is beautiful the host told us it use to be a golf course. Would 100% stay again

We had such a great weekend here! Very private and peaceful area. The hot tub was probably our favorite part of the place. Fairly close to most hiking locations. Definitely drive an SUV or truck here, the drive getting up to the cabin is pretty bumpy. Would definitely stay again!

We keep returning because it is a great place and in the woods where we wacth lightbulbs and hear so many birds singing too. Close to the Red River Gorge park too.

We found this sweet little cabin on accident and I am so glad we did! The space is so peaceful and was the perfect spot to recharge. We did a lot of hiking with our pups and checked out some of the local shops/restaurants. Everything we wanted to do was within driving distance and dog friendly :) It was a blast and we hope to come back soon!

Beautiful location and scenery. Winding thin roads were fun and scary at same time! Lots of trucks made it scary in some turns getting there just go slow . The cabin was better than we thought and clean. Absolutely loved it. Hot tub was favorite part all weekend. There was no fire wood for bonfire so grab some down the road. Red river gorge was very fun and lived the scenery, but very windy and thin roads. Bring small AWD SUV, we had full size truck and was iffy at times especially in small lots. Frenchburg was small with few options. Get important things like drinks in big cities as not much close by. But about the cabin, you can’t go wrong absolutely loved it There were no dice in Yahtzee so we bought some so hopefully the next guess can enjoy a game! Loved every minute and if we had more time would have stayed another day

This little cabin is the best getaway. It feels private but close to amenities and the gorge. The pool is great. It’s cozy and relaxing. Love this place.

My family really enjoyed our stay!! What a beautiful cabin!! We all enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful view and really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Very responsive host who stayed on the phone with us until we could find the cabin. Only downside is the steep gravel hill to get there. Our rental car had bald tires so it was a bit exciting to drive up the hill, but we made it up every time. Overall a wonderful place and we would definitely stay again if in the area.

Such a beautiful place. Incredible view from the Deck as well as the fire pit. The cabin had everything we needed for a great week in the woods. The Hammocks were a favorite. There is another cabin right next door that you share a parking area with, based on the photos we were under the impression that this cabin sat alone, so that was a little disappointing. Overall it was a wonderful stay, we had an amazing trip and truly enjoyed the space.
