Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

Amazing hosts! Patricia speaks English and even though her dad does not, he went out of his way to connect through many kind acts. He would bring baked goodies every morning and several times drove us places, including back from the airport when we returned our car. They also left us lots of food, including milk, eggs from their hens, produce from their garden, water, wine, beer, cookies, cheese, prosciutto etc. Before buying groceries, I would check in to see what they have stocked you with. A few things to note: the 2nd bathroom is only a half bathroom with toilet, no shower; the place is compact, particularly for 3 people, and the second room does not have a window; the air conditioning is only in the living room, which might matter in summer (but it’s a stone house so keeps relatively cool). Lastly, the place is 7 mins walk to the metro and a further 15 mins to the historic centre. Patricia gave us 3 metro cards, to be refilled. Tip: it’s hilly;use bus to go from river to metro

We had a perfect 3 days in the at the lake house and actually wanted to do a lot of things, but the house and the place It was good that we just stayed there.

We were invited to a wedding at the Quinta Solar da Levado in Amares, Cidalia's house is quite close (8 min) which is rather appreciable in case of fatigue. The house is very, very large and clean on a double level. A beautiful vegetable/flower garden is a great way to enjoy the good weather. Cidalia is very responsive and gives very clear instructions. As a traveler, just remember to bring cash to pay the municipal tax.

We had an amazing time at Casa das Santiagas. The house is very spacious and all facilities are available. Whether it is playing football on the football pitch or chilling at the pool, all can be done. It really is a great house for groups. The host is very friendly and proactive in his communication. Would definitely recommend! Next to that, the location itself is very quiet and beautiful but still in close proximity to all kinds of activities (including the city of Porto)

Absolute dream of a place. Stunning grounds, surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens, lush greenery and the sound of the birds. Great swimming pool to chill after a day exploring the region. The accommodation is 5*, comfy beds and bedding, all the kitchen amenities and set up was perfect and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and two children. José was always available to give us recommendations of restaurantes, wineries and more, and Hugo always around to help with anything you need. Ah, also fresh bread every morning - so thoughtful. We had an unforgettable stay and will cherish our time at Villa Margaridi for years to come! Obrigada!

We were 2 families staying together and we had ample space in this well appointed sizeable villa in sleepy local village outside of Viana do Castelo, which is a nice town. There are a few local restaurants in the village and a cafe/bar a short walk down by the river. The river wasn't swim-able though. We spent time relaxing by the lovely saltwater pool which isn’t overlooked and is set in the secluded gardens overlooking fields. We felt a car was essential to visit local towns and national parks. The cleaner came mid way through our 2 week stay and changed bedding towels and cleaned throughout, which was a nice bonus. Jose was there to greet us and gave us helpful local advice We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend the villa.

The house was perfectly set up for our family! Our family of 8 adults (three married couples, and one 83 year old and one single adult) found the house to be exactly what we needed. My husband and I took the top floor with his mom. Our three sons and their two wives shared the bottom floor. The five bedrooms were perfect for us and the three full bathrooms made mornings easier. The house offered lots of space for us to hang out together, but we were so busy enjoying the city of Porto, that we did not spend much time in the home. The outdoor patio was lovely! There were towels on each bed for us, the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, some cleaning supplies and basics (tea, sugar, salt, etc.). There is a grocery store around the corner, which was very convenient. Host was quick to respond to our questions about the area and the home, and was flexible when we arrived later than expected about meeting us. It all worked out perfectly for our family.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

As everyone else said the hosts were excellent - really good communications, really helpful and really nice. The hosts were really nice and helpful and went above and beyond to really help our stay. The place was fabulous. The facilities were brilliant and the views from the place were great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Beiriz. The house is located in a quiet and serene setting, about a 40-minute drive from Porto — close enough for day trips, yet far enough to truly relax and disconnect. The property itself is full of charm, combining rustic character with modern comfort. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden and outdoor areas — perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Beiriz to anyone looking for a tranquil.

You can't find a better house than this in Porto. Everything has been taken care of to the last detail. And that was also made with a very extensive breakfast by Maria. The swimming pool is beautiful and is located in a large garden. Everything is lovingly cared for and laid out. Highly recommended this house.

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.

We stayed at José's for a week. Rosa hosted us wonderfully, always available and with good advice for activities. The house is superb, the sea view is stunning, whether in the morning or evening, it's truly magical. Accessible directly via a small staircase. The house is very beautiful, comfortable, we were 2 families (5 adults and 3 children). There is room for everyone, the rooms are very comfortable, the kitchen perfectly equipped, in short great stay and beautiful house (not to mention the ping pong table and foosball where we spent a lot of time). And finally, the pool is really very nice, heated (which is very nice in the evening!) and allows you to cool off when the Atlantic is cooler! In short, great stay and great hosting. We would be happy to recommend it and would also be happy to come back.

As a family with a lot of teens, I loved how many spaces this house had for hanging out. Also, having so many rooms with two single beds instead of shared beds is so nice when you have a lot of teens along. The outdoor spaces are so beautiful and peaceful and the yard is full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed the ease to reach Guimarães. We would happily return to this lovely home.

Lurdes' home is great for a family getaway and with children. His house is spacious and has a swimming pool, even for children. In addition, it is well located, close to small villages that are worth visiting. Lurdes was a caring host and her house was spotless. We recommend it 100%, we were very comfortable there.

We are very happy with the accommodation! From the warm welcome to the attention to detail, everything contributed to a comfortable and peaceful stay. The space is cozy, larger than we thought, well cared for and with a wonderful view, ideal for relaxing after a day full of adventures. An experience we certainly want to repeat! 🏡✨

Had a great time in Marie’s place. She welcomed us really well sharing local places we could go to to shop or eat, and recommendation for Porto. Very easy to check in and flexible which was great. The house is very big with all amenities, and a very nice area by the swimming pool. Thanks again !

We loved this house and the location and all the effort that was given from Pedro’s team to make us welcome. Thanks for the cake, the HUGE fruit bowl (that we nearly managed to consume), and the sweets, water etc. you thought of everything. The house isn’t in a tourist location but that is its charm, it’s so peaceful with a bar and supermarket in easy reach, perfect. You get some great recommendations , our favourites were Barzin, a ten minute walk, but the best fish restaurant has to be Oburaco in Esposende, the good was amazing. There is also S2 locally, it’s very good. We visited, Braga, Porto, Barcelos(Thursday is huge market day), Esposende. The house is located perfectly and we did not hire cars, instead used Uber or the local taxi company. We were a party of 8 and the house was large enough to allow peace in the garden, whilst others watched TV, or some used the gym, and others used the bikes. Note the bikes are great but there can be a forceful wind to fight!

Beautiful view. Bring groceries so you can stay at house and enjoy the view and pool. Take your time driving the roads. All roads have amazing views and lush surroundings.

Beautiful house, very clean and well-equipped. Kids enjoyed the outdoor games and pool. Located in a small town, within walking distance of a bakery and butcher. Small supermarket a 3-minute drive. 30 min from the beaches, 1 hr from Porto, 40 min from Braga / Viana do Castello / etc. Fatima is a thoughtful and very responsive host.
