Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Portland

Robert was very friendly when we met him. The room was exactly as it appeared in the photos. The room was perfect! We were able to have a couple of our kids and grand kids over to hang out for a while and there was plenty of room. The fridge was unexpectedly nicely stocked with various goodies and necessities. We will stay there again!

Second time staying here and loved it. Great place, comfortable bed and couches. Perfect little kitchen for quick meals. Extremely toddler friendly!!

This place is what Airbnb is all about. Gorgeous, well kept, had everything we needed, even extras for our very young daughter including pack n play and high chair. Great location with easy access to restaurants, walkable, safe. No issues w parking. Kitchen easy to use w all that's needed. Loved reading my book on the upstairs patio.

My husband and I took our first visit to the west coast and wanted to find a place that felt like home, private and cozy. When I found this listing, it matched exactly what we were hoping for. Aletheia is super responsive, respectful and honest. Everything matched what was written and there were even helpful notes throughout the week to help us navigate the home and get around. I love how walkable it is to the bus stop to be able to travel downtown and even walkable to local coffee spots. Super happy with our week stay!

Susanna was very nice and accommodating! It was a cute decently sized spot that was super clean. I loved how walkable the restaurants and stores were to the airbnb. I’d definitely stay here again. i found so many great things around the area.

This place is a gem, especially if you have young children. The host was very responsive and had a lot of items for our 2 1/2 year old which made traveling with a toddler much much easier on all of us.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful home, huge front and backyard. Kids enjoyed the play structure!

The little house suits us well. Washer Drier, comfortable bed, useful kitchen, functional TV, easy access in and out.

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful accommodation with an incredible view overlooking the valley to Mt. Hood. The host was outstanding - great communication, very helpful with all our questions & requests. The apartment was immaculate & more than fully equipped - extra linens, a big supply of towels, snacks galore! The kitchen appliances were great, easy to use, and lots of cooking supplies were provided. For really outdoorsy types, even camping & similar supplies were available. Bed & sofa were super comfortable, Internet connection fast, Smart TV worked well with DVDs available for all tastes. The location was excellent, too - short-ish drives to Mt. Hood & various hikes in the National Forest, plus only a few minutes' drive to commercial areas for shopping. The host really thought of everything (even providing some padded hangers!). Our only regret: not staying longer. Thanks for a great experience.

We loved our four night stay here while exploring Portland and the Columbia River Gorge area. Since we were driving the parking in a safe garage was priceless to us. The apartment had everything we needed, including washer/dryer that we really needed at the tail end of a long roadtrip. The view from the apartment was beautiful and it felt really nice getting back to the apartment after a whole day of outing. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Portland.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our visit to Portland. If you just need a cute place to stay at the end of adventuring or hanging around the city, this is perfect. Super cozy and their hospitality is the best I’be had with Airbnb. You may even get greeted by some adorable cats as we did upon arrival!

Martin & Grace were kind and communicative throughout our stay. My friend and I particularly enjoyed the area as there were multiple bus stops within 3 blocks of walking, as well as restaurants, food trucks, and parks. The full kitchen available was quite nice with extremely acceptable pans and pots. The provided earl gray tea was remarkably good as well :). We found the wifi password pasted above the bed to be quite funny when we began wondering how to access it. Finally, the check in and out directions were easy and reasonable. Thank you again for the great stay!

Katya's place was a gem of a stay. Cozy and peaceful setting surrounded by a beautiful garden. The great location was walkable to coffee shops, parks, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed at Paula’s place while visiting Portland for a comedy show/birthday trip and it was a wonderful stay!! I LOVED how clean everything was with no chemicals! I often have to go unplug air fresheners at air bnbs, and I loved that it was beautifully clean and great and don’t have any chemical smells! It was quiet and had great access to lots of fun spots! We traveled all over town. The best was super comfy and the kitchen was great. They even had a bottle of wine for us! Overall it was a fantastic stay and I’d absolutely stay again and 10/10 recommend the space! -Briana

I stayed at this Airbnb for a weekend and had a pleasant stay! The unit was very clean and had everything that I needed from a fully stocked kitchen, to heating, all the necessary bathroom amenities, etc.. It also had a parking spot on the driveway that was right next to the main entrance. The bed was also very comfortable and had some of the best bed sheets I have ever felt, extremely soft! The neighborhood also felt safe and peaceful for the most part. Some things to note: There were some noises that could potentially be an issue for some. For example, you can hear pretty well the people walking above the airbnb, the water pump in the bathroom makes a moderate noise when you wash your hands, take a shower, or flush the toilet, and the heater turning on and off can be a little loud. All minor inconveniences that didn't bother me too much. The host Tracie was extremely helpful and kind during my stay. Overall, I recommend this place and is a great value for the cost!

Saskia has a beautiful home and the apartment is fully equipped for a short or long term stay. We were extremely happy with the flexibility of checkin and her friendly, open, down to earth manner. We would recommend anyone to stay there should they visit Portland. Thanks Saskia!

Spent a couple days here and it was a perfect location. Quiet at night, although be aware there is a train nearby. I was up early so it did not interfere with my stay. The place is close to everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The place was very comfortable and would stay here again.

Great value and it was above my expectations when I walked into the house. I had a great use of the kitchen and the AC was definitely a huge bonus during the summer heat. Rich was very good in communications and I felt like I was well taken care of

Great place, very clean, lots of amenities. A little hard to find and chack in, but the photo directions from the host really help. There is a grocery store about a 1 min walk from the apartment which was really handy. Close to the water and centrally located. Overall, very nice.

I live nearby and needed a place to stay during a minor remodel - picked this one because it was so close to groceries and restaurants. Very convenient, clean, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen. No problem finding parking on the street. No AC, but stayed cool and pleasant even when the weather got hot. My only complaint was flies (outside) from the chickens next door - Bee got fly traps right away when I mentioned it, but there’s only so much she can do.

We enjoyed the large spaces, especially the living/dining/kitchen area. The dining table was ideal for board games, and it was nice that we could all sit comfortably in the living room. The bed linens were very soft, even though the beds themselves weren't as comfortable (for us -- very subjective). The master bath had some minor detritus in the tub from the skylight too, but everything else was spotless. All in all, we had a lovely time, and Mary Jean was thoughtful, respectful, and helpful.

Definitely best for a solo traveler or couple. Would recommend traveling light just so you’re not tripping over your luggage. The neighborhood felt super safe and was quiet. Definitely would come back in the future :)
